필라멘트 와인딩과 인발성헝 제작 복합소재 교량 바닥판의 휨 특성 비교분석 (Comparative Study on the Flexural Characteristics of Composite Bridge Deck Fabricated with Filament Winding and Pultrusion)

  • 본 논문에서는 유리섬유 복합소재 교랑 바닥판 개발에 필요한 기초 자료를 마련하기 위하여, 필라멘트 와인딩공정과 인발성형공정으로 제작된 복합소재 교량 바닥판에 대해 휨시험과 구조해석을 실시하여, 휨특성을 비교$\cdot$분석하였다. 필라멘트 와인딩으로 제작된 삼각형 형상의 복합소재 교량 바닥판의 성능을 비교하기 위하여, 미국 MMC사의 Duraspan 바닥판과 동일한 크기의 바닥판 시험체를 필라멘트 와인딩으로 제작하여 휨시험을 실시하고 최대 파괴하중과 처짐, 변형률을 비교하였으며, 필라멘트 와인딩 바닥판 시험체와 동일한 바닥판 모델에 대해 구조해석을 실시하여 시험한 결과와 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문에 한국항공우주연구원에서 개발 중인 KSR-III 로켓의 탑재부 축소형 킥모터 구조 설계와 제작공정 개발 내용을 정리하였다. 경량화를 위해 복합재료를 적용하였으며, 복합재 연소관 제작에 널리 사용되는 필라멘트 와인딩 방법을 도입하였다. 복합재 구조설계에는 망목이론(netting theory)과 적층판 이론을 사용하여 요구되는 내압하중에 적합한 와인딩 두께를 결정하였고, 돔형상은 와인딩 및 맨드렐(mandrel) 제작의 편이성을 고려하여 결정하였다. 재료는 경량화를 목표로 T-800 탄소 섬유와 고온용 수지로 선정하였다. 또한 와인딩 후 맨드렐를 제거하기 위해 조립식 맨드렐을 개발하여 적용하였다.

CNG 복합용기의 필라멘트 와인딩 공정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Filament Winding Process of A CNG Composite Pressure vessel)

  • The fiber reinforced composite material is widely used in the multi-industrial field where the weight reduction of the infrastructure is demanded because of their high specific modulus and specific strength. Pressure vessels using this composite material in comparison with conventional metal vessels can be applied in the field where lightweight and the high pressure is demanded from the defense and aerospace industry to rocket motor case due to the merits which are energy curtailment by the weight reduction and decrease of explosive damage precede to the sudden explosion which is generated by the pressure leakage condition. In this paper, for nonlinear finite element analysis of E-glass/epoxy filament winding composite pressure vessel receiving an internal pressure, the standard interpretation model is developed by using the ANSYS 5.7.1, the general commercial program, which is verified as the accuracy and useful characteristic of the solution based on Auto LISP and ANSYS APDL. Both the preprocessor for doing exclusive analysis of filament winding composite pressure vessel and postprocessor that simplifies result of analysis have been developed to help the design engineers.

  • 필라멘트 와인딩 공법(filament winding process)은 회전하는 맨드렐에 로빙(roving)형태의 연속섬유를 감는 비교적 간단한 공정이다. 이것은 저장탱크, 화학용 파이프, 그리고 다른 산업에 사용되는 안정적이고 다양한 공법이다. 본 연구에서는 split disk test 치구와 dress disk test 치구에 의한 필라멘트 와인딩 링 시편의 인장강도 값을 실험에서 얻어진 결과와 혼합법칙에 의해 얻어진 이론적인 값을 비교하였다. 이 논문의 목적은 필라멘트 와인딩 구조물의 인장 특성 평가에 대한 적합한 시험법을 제안하고 있는 것이다. dress disk test 치구로 시험한 링 시험편의 인장강도는 split disk test 치구의 모서리 부분에서 발생하는 응력집중 때문에 split disk test의 시험 결과보다 이론적인 인장강도 간에 잘 근절함을 보여준다. 이 실험 결과 시험 치구의 기하학적 형상과 섬유의 연속성, 섬유 장력 그리고 시험편의 응력 집중에 영향은 받음을 알 수 있었다.

  • In many manufacturing processes such as web formation, manufacturing of paper and nonwoven, fabric weaving, etc., planar sheets are transported and at the same time appropriate tension is imposed. The input material rolled up on beams is fed by unwinding the beam and the processed is then taken up on beams by winding it. While processed, the planar sheets are thrown under the processing load of impulse form, which causes irregular thickness of the processed sheet. To improve the quality of the product, a dynamic model is needed and the dynamic characteristics is to be analyzed by simulation. This study shows that density variation dynamics of the in-process-sheet in the machine direction can be described at each moment of disturbing impacts in forms of difference equations, while the impacts and tension, the time-dependency of the material properties were taken into account. Simulation showed the most serious variation of the density occurred in the process starting phase. The starting velocity curve with step form showed the least variation of the density. As the time order of the function of the starting velocity cure becomes higher, the density variation gets greater.

고기능성 복합재료의 제조와 그 특성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Preocessing of high Runctional Composites and the Evaluation of Its Characteristics)

  • Filament winding method is widely used for composite fabrications using low viscosity liquid for-mation and processing asymmetrical structures of pressure vessel pipe rocket motor case etc. The filament winding method is affected by several parameters such as pot life of process time viscosi-ty of resin filament winding temperature and schedules curing condition and post curing condi-tion of resin. To develope high functional composite materials the rotation(5, 15, 20, 30rpm) of the winding machine was controlled by D.C motor. And the wiper to give proper tension was equipped between strand and resin bath. The resin is hooked by the design wiper. The adequate cure schedule was found by DSC. NOL ring test is carried out to investigate the basic physical properties such as design technology. The void contents in filament winding is generally higher than that of the prepreg laminated plate. These high contents of void can make a crack in resin in spite of low deformation. These problem was solved by giving tension in processing. To improve the characteristics of fiber volume fraction void contents resin/fiber bonding the winding speedc is changed under constant tension. It was found that resin impregnation was not different from in fiber contents void contents at the range of 0.5~1kg tension but it was found that resin was not impregnated at the above of 1.5kg tension. In burst test a pure PE liner was failed at a nozzle part under the $14kg/\textrm{cm}^2$ pressure but a pressure vessel of CNG was failed at a cylinder part under the $200kg/\textrm{cm}^2$ pressure.

  • Pattern classification of single and multiple discharge sources was applied using a wavelet image signal method in which a feature extraction was applied using a hidden sub-image. A feature extracting method that used vertical and horizontal images using an MSD method was applied to an averaging process for the scale of pulses for the phase. A feature extracting process for the preprocessing of the input of a neural network was performed using an inverse transformation of the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal sub-images. A back propagation algorithm in a neural network was used to classify defective signals. An algorithm for wavelet image processing was developed. In addition, the defective signal was classified using the extracted value that was quantified for the input of a neural network.

  • The drop impact analysis was carried out on Type 4 pressure containers, and the degree of damage to the falling environment was predicted and determined using smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) techniques. The purpose of the design and the optimization process of the winding pattern of the pressure vessel of the composite material is to verify the safety of the container in actual use. Finally, an interpretation process that can be implemented in accordance with domestic test standards can be established to reduce the cost of testing and containers through pre-test interpretation. The research on the fall analysis of pressure vessels of composite materials was conducted using Abaqus, and optimization was conducted using ISIGHT. As a result, the safety of composite pressure vessels in the falling environment was verified.

  • In this paper, in order to analyzing the thrust force of LDM, it was divided by the vertical force(Fx)and the horizontal force(Fy). The magnet and winding width was determined by analyzing the magnetic flux distribution throughout the airgap of LDM. Using finite-element analysis(FEA), which is the magnetic field analysis, and Proved the validity of design process, also the characteristics of LDM according to the variation of the design parameters of LDM was almost in accord with th experiment results.
