구로 수출산업공단 조성의 재해석 (Re-interpretation on the Making of the Guro Exporting Industrial Complex)

  • 구로 수출산업공단은 1960년대 수출지향적 산업화를 추진한 한국 경제의 성공 신화의 핵심으로 자리잡고 있다. 이 글에서는 구로 공단 조성 과정을 재조명함으로써 이러한 신화의 실상과 허상을 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 정치사회학적 관점에 입각해서 공단 조성 과정을 구상, 실행 및 평가의 차원으로 나눠 살펴볼 것이다. 이러한 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 구로공단의 조성은 국가가 일방적으로 추진했다기보다는 국가를 비롯한 재일교포, 지역주민 등의 다양한 사회세력들의 이해관계가 층돌하고 조정되는 과정을 거쳤다. 또한 1970년대 산업기지 조성 사업에 비해 국가 투자가 상대적으로 빈약했지만, 국가의 전폭적인 지원을 바탕으로 공단이 조성되는 특징을 보여주었다. 그리고 외견상의 성공과 달리 재일교포 자본 유치를 통한 수출전용공단 조성이라는 애초의 목표가 충실히 달성되지는 못했다.

중국 장백산(長白山) 일대의 진달래(Rhododendron mucronulatum var. mucronulatum), 산진달래(R. dauricum), 철쭉(R. schlippenbachii)의 분포 및 생태적 특성 (Ecological Characteristics and Distribution of Rhododendron mucronulatum var. mucronulatum, R. dauricum, R. schlippenbachii on Mt. Changbai in China)

  • The investigation was made about distribution and ecological characteristics of Rhododendron mucronulatum var. mucronulatum, R. dauricum and R. schlippenbachii on Mt. Changbai in China. The Ericaceae plants are known to be highly ornamental and easy to cultivate. The results of investigations are like followings. The plant species diversity was the highest in habitats of R. mucronulatum var. mucronulatum, followed by those of R. schlippenbachii and R. dauricum. R. mucronulatum var. mucronulatum community was found in the northwest exposure areas of 300m in altitude. Corylus heterophylla, Carex humilis var. nana, Atractylodes japonica species also grew in the R. mucronulatum var. mucronulatum community. R. dauricum communities were widely distributed in the west exposure areas of 1226-1860m above sea level. R. schlippenbachii populations were found in areas of under 300m above sea level, which has dry soil. But humidity of air was relatively high in the place. Artemisia japonica, Lespedeza bicolor and Dactylis glomerata were found around the habitats of R. schlippenbachii. Phalanx type of plants were dominant near the habitats of Ericaceae plants as 61%. Further, there appeared higher plant life totalling to 72 taxa comprising 54 species, 16 varieties and 2 forma with 31 families and 59 genuses at the whole survey area. Among these, Compositae plants excellent in resistance to environment was surveyed the most, accounting for 30.0%.

소셜 미디어에 나타난 돌 파티웨어 스타일 분석 및 디자인 개발 (Style Analysis and Design Development of the First Birthday Partywear Based on Examples from Social Media)

  • Based on the advent and dissemination of new developments concerning information & telecommunications technology, web services have brought new paradigms into society, thus facilitating the birth and evolution of various service industries to society as a whole. This study is aimed at investigating the expansion of the first Birthday party culture and design examples of the first Birthday partywear appearing in social media, through an inquiry into the communication functions inherent in social media. Also, the development of the first Birthday partywear designs for women aged 20 to 30 years was accomplished by categorically analyzing design characteristics in preferred fashion styles uploaded and shared within online childcare communities. First, it can be concluded that due to the bidirectional flow of information between corporations and consumers occurring from the expansion of social media, the entire structure of the market is undergoing great changes. Next, the need for the supply of professionalized the first Birthday partywear can be proved by the influx of party planners and caterers into this new industry. Third, Through a categorical analysis of these 523 photos, elegance style was the most preferred while classic and romantic styles followed. Last of all, 5 pieces of partywear reflecting contemporary consumer lifestyles which focus on 'enjoying one's own life' were created under the concept of 'Romantic chic'. The created designs aim to present a style which follows the predominant trend of elegance, classic and romantic, whilst keeping sensitivity in moderation. In this context, this study has aimed to present fundamental research data in the field of online the first Birthday partywear, through the development of the first Birthday partywear design based on the first Birthday party consumer characteristics gleaned from various forms of social media.

Comparative Studies on Growth and Phosphatase Activity of Endolithic Cyanobacterial Isolates of Chroococcidiopsis from Hot and Cold Deserts

  • The growth and phosphatase (phosphomonoesterase) activity of Chroococcidiopsis culture isolated from the cryptoendoliths of the Antarctic were compared with a similar isolate from the Arizona hot desert. Such cyanobacteria living inside rocks share several features with the immobilized cells produced in the laboratory. This study has relevance because the availability of phosphorus is a key factor influencing the growth of these cyanobacteria in nature, in such unique ecological niches as the hot and cold deserts. Phosphatase activity therefore is of particular importance for these organisms if they are to survive without any other source of phosphorus availability. Also, there is paucity of knowledge regarding this aspect of study in cyanobacterial cultures from these extreme environments. The salient feature of this study shows the importance of specific pH and temperatures for growth and phosphatase activity of both cultures, although there were marked differences between the two isolates. The pH and temperature optima for growth and phosphatase activity (PMEase) of Chroococcidiopsis 1 and 2 were 9.5, $240^{\circ}C$ and 8.5, $40^{\circ}C$ respectively. The $K_m and V_max$ values of cultured Chroococcidiopsis 1 showed lower affinity of PMEase for the substrate compared to the enzyme affinity of the same organism when found within the rocks; Chroococcidiopsis 2 and Arizona rocks containing the same alga however showed similar affinity of PMEase for the substrate. An interesting observation was the similarity in response of immobilized Chroococcidiopsis 1 culture and the same organism in the Antarctic rocks to low light and low temperature stimulation of PMEase. This thermal response seems to be related to the ability of the immobilized Antarctic isolate and the rocks to either cryoprotect the PMEase or undergo a change to save the enzyme from becoming nonfunctional under low temperatures. The free cells of Chroococcidiopsis 1 culture however did not show such responses.

서천갯벌 습지보호지역의 염생식물상과 식생 (Halophytes and Vegetation of Seocheon Tidal Flat Wetland Conservation Area)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the raw data for management and conservation of tidal flat by objective surveying and analysing the halophytes and vegetation distributed in Seocheon tidal flat wetland conservation area, Korea. The results are as follows. The numbers of halophytes in this site were summarized as 27 taxa including 13 families, 21 genera, 26 species and 1 variety. In the results of ecologically important species, rare plant was 1 taxa, 10 taxa of the specific plants by floristic region, 1 taxa of naturalized plant and 1 taxa of the plant with approval for delivering oversea. The life form spectrum consisted of therophytes(44.4%), hemicryptophytes(25.9%), geophytes(14.8%), nanophanerophytes(7.5%), chamaephytes and hydatophytes(each 3.7%). The types of vegetation of Seocheon tidal flat wetland conservation area were classified with 17 communities including Vitex rotundifolia community, Suaeda maritima community, Calystegia soldanella community and so forth. In the halophytes composition, section C and E-1 had the largest character species and companion species. In the results of vegetation amount, section C, D, E-1 and E-2 were the highest score, on the other hand, section A and B were the lowest. The final rating was calculated by adding up values of two factors, and section C and E-1 had the highest rating of II. In future, we will survey the whole flora in Seocheon tidal flat, we will offer the help to establishing the conservation plan of coastal plant ecosystem in West Sea.

고령화사회를 대비한 소방방재정책에 관한 연구 (A Study on Safety Policies Toward Aging Society)

  • 우리나라는 2000년에 65세 이상의 노인인구가 전체 인구의 $7.2\%$를 차지하여 고령화사회가 되었고, 2019년에는 2배인 $14.4\%$에 달하여 고령사회가 될 것으로 예상하고 있다. 고령자는 신체기능의 저하 등에 의해 재해발생 시에 정확하고 신속한 판단과 행동을 하지 못할 가능성이 높으므로 고령화가 진전될수록 화재 등 각종 재해로 인한 고령자의 인명피해가 증가할 것이다. 고령자의 화재 등 재해로 인한 희생을 줄이기 위해서 고령자 등 재해약자관련 소방방재대책 추진, 화재로 인한 인명피해 최소화대책 추진, 농촌지역 소방력 보강 및 소방서비스확대, 소방방재 정보제공 및 홍보기능의 강화, 새로운 연계활동 발굴(우편집배원 및 사회복지사의 119요원화), 소방공무원 보강 및 장비의 경량화 등의 정책을 제언한다.

  • 최근 개인의 자아실현을 도모하고 삶의 질을 높여 도시 전체의 경쟁력을 향상시키고 도시와 도시 주민이 함께 성장 발전 할 수 있도록, 언제, 어디서나, 누구든 원하는 것을 배우고 즐길 수 있는 학습도시를 만들고자 하는 움직임이 활발해 지고 있다. 세계 많은 선진국들은 학교와 공공시설을 활용하여 학습도시를 만드는 프로젝트를 지원하고 있는데, 이를 통해 지역주민들에게 자기 성장의 기회를 제공하고, 지역사회의 문제를 해결하고자 하고 있다. 우리나라 역시 학교 유휴시설을 활용하여 다양한 프로그램을 제공하고 있지만, 지역 주민들을 대상으로 하는 교육 프로그램이나, 지역 공동체와의 파트너쉽에 의한 학습 프로그램 제공이 부족한 실정이다. 성공적인 학습도시 구현을 위해 공간적 소프트웨어적 전략이 필요한 때이다. 따라서 학습 가능한 시설의 공간 데이터를 체계적으로 정리하고, 현재의 문제점을 분석하여 다양하게 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 또한 주민들이 필요로 하는 프로그램을 분석하여 실질적이고 효율적인 학습도시를 구현하고자 한다.

  • Koreans have emphasized education as the primary means to reconstruct our country means to reconstruct our country after two catastrophic events-the Japanese occupation and the Korean War(1950-1953). A Strong belief- in education coupled with sheer deter-mination spurred the period of industrial and eeonomic development that started in the early 1970-'s. The "can-do" attitude of the general public was matched and aided by small S & T communities. Scientists and engineers provided the neeessary expertise to manufacture goods and process the many raw materials imported from overseas. After nearly three decades of reconst-ructing our completely devastated country, Korea has become a modern, cosmo-politan, fast-paced and dynamic country. In order to further increaser our manufac- turing capabilities and double the per-capita income by the beginning of the 21st century, we must improve productivitiy and encourage creatitivity in all sectors of our country. The S & T community's efforts in research and development. education, and interna-tional cooperation will be invaluable in determining our direction and reaching these goals. The general public is eager to peacefully unite our foreign powers since 1945. Toward that end. members of the S & T community are willing to coope-rate with our north Korean counterparts in all areas of S & T with the exception of defense related endeavors. Establi-shing scientific ties with north Korea will result in mutual economic benefit and greater regional stability in East Asia. In particular. scientists and manu-facturers in each province are eager to initiate cordial and professional relation-ships with north Korea in the hopes of securing these benefits. The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies(KOFST) has played an important role both in developing S & T policies, and in gostering the frowty of S & T societies. A non-governmental umbrella organization composed of over 251 professional societies, KOFST facili-tates the transfer of research outcomes and technology from research institutions to the various industries. KOFST also seeks to increase cooperation between the countries of the Pacific Rim. As evidence of that, we have pursued joint research and industrial ventures with China. Established projects include those on environmental conditions in the Yellow Sea, and improvement of aircraft manufacturing, telecommunica-tion equipment, and agricultural produ-cts. Increased cooperation between the Pacific Rim countries, particularly in S & T, would foster social and economic development for the region as a whole.

한반도 시공간적 바람정보 생산과 토지피복별 보정 알고리즘 개발 (Temporal and Spatial Wind Information Production and Correction Algorithm Development by Land Cover Type over the Republic of Korea)

  • 바람은 기상, 기후, 신재생 에너지 등 다양한 분야에서 널리 활용되는 매우 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 이 연구에서는 우선, 중규모 기상모델 WRF를 이용하여 우리나라의 전역에 대하여 2006년도를 대상으로 수치 시뮬레이션을 수행하여, 시공간적 상세 바람정보를 생산하였다. 수치모의 된 풍속은 관측풍속과 비교하여 공간적 및 계절적 특징을 비교적 잘 나타내었으나, 전반적으로 다소 과대 모의되는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 예측오차를 줄이기 위하여, 위성원격탐사로부터 생산된 지표특성 변수인 LST와 NDWI를 사용한 예측풍속의 통계적 보정 알고리즘을 개발하고, 다중회귀분석에 의하여 보정식의 토지피복별 상수와 계수를 도출하였다. 제안된 보정 알고리즘에 의하여 최종적으로 보정된 풍속은 관측풍속과 비교하여 높은 상관관계, 0.4 m/s 미만의 RMSE, 0에 가까운 BIAS로 매우 높은 일치성을 보였다. 따라서, 이 연구에서 제안한 위성원격탐사자료를 활용한 통계적 보정 알고리즘은 중규모 수치모의에 의한 예측오차를 개선하고 보다 정확한 한반도 바람정보를 생산하는데 있어서 간략하고 유용한 수단이 될 수 있으리라 기대된다.

노인들의 보건지식과 건강증진 행태 관련 요인 (The Analysis of Primary Factors Affecting Health Knowledge and Health Behavior of the Elderly)

  • Objective: In order to provide basic data required to evaluate the knowledge and behavior of old people towards health promotion and primary factors that influence them, to develop a health educational program. Method: A survey was conducted from March 6th 2004 to June 10th 2004. A total of 949 senior citizens over 60 participated in the survey. Results: The old people was the lower the educational level they had, the lower the level of health education experience they had and the lower the frequency of regular health check-ups they had. In regards to health education and health promotion, seniors citizens were neglected because of a lack of health awareness and knowledge, wrong habits related to healthy living, low access to medical examination, poor economic state, and low educational level. In addition to social atmosphere and systematic efforts by the government, senior citizens tried to find their own ways to have healthy living by improving their educational level, health awareness, and level of health knowledge, and lifestyle. Conclusion: Therefore, not only their family members, but local communities, public organizations, and the whole nation should make every effort to provide a effective health education system by using health educators for senior citizens. There is also a need to prepare a practical and systematic health education program for senior citizens so that they can enjoy comfortable and healthy living in their old age.
