This study investigates the metabolomic changes in breast and thigh meat from Cobb and Ross 308 chickens regarding the rearing environment. One-day-old Cobb and Ross broilers were raised for 35 days in conventional and animal welfare farms with, amongst others, different floor sizes, stock densities, and ammonia concentrations. One-dimensional 1H nuclear magnetic resonance, orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA), and pathway analyses were performed to analyze the metabolomic properties of broiler meat. For breast meat, only those from the Ross strain could be separated according to the environment in the OPLS-DA plot. Ross breast meat from animal welfare farms showed significantly higher acetate, anserine, creatine, and inosine monophosphate content than those from conventional farms (P<0.05). In contrast, for thigh meat, the Cobb strain was differentiated using OPLS-DA. The contents of five metabolites, such as glucose and lactate, were higher in thigh meat from animal welfare farms; however, nine metabolites, including seven free amino acids, were lower compared to those from conventional farms (P<0.05). Pathway analysis was performed to interpret the biological changes in chicken meat based on environmental factors. The results indicated that the animal welfare environment led to significant changes in four metabolic pathways in Ross breast meat and in 20 metabolic pathways in Cobb thigh meat (P<0.05). In conclusion, the animal welfare environment could influence the metabolomic properties of Ross breast meat and Cobb thigh meat, which may affect the sensory quality of meat.

School closures in rural areas is especially relevant because low fertility rate and population aging are common not only in rural but also in urban areas. This paper examined a variety of users' perceptions on welfare facilities using closed rural schools. For this study, the descriptive survey research design was conducted at the EZER located in Kyungsnangbuk-do. The sample size of 200 was selected through convenience sampling and data collection was completed by a self-completion written questionnaires. Main findings are as follows: 1) the level of users' relative satisfaction with welfare facilities using closed rural schools was generally positive, main factor associated with relative satisfaction was facilities and surrounding environment at closed rural schools, 2) socioeconomic usefulness of closed rural schools was also was generally positive, main factors for revitalization were adequate facilities and places, accessible and convenient places, 3) future necessity and willingness for welfare facilities using closed rural schools were overwhelmingly positive, children or youth were revealed as a priority service target. Finally, theses analyses show that a high proportion in the rural welfare sector, especially seemed to have a positive impact on bridging negative gabs between urban and rural in the socioeconomic development and social welfare.

The thesis utilized demographic data obtained from 225 female homemakers and includes results based on frequency, ratio, mean, Duncan's Multiple range Test and Multiple Regression analysis. The main results are as follows: 1. Environmental consciousness appears to be higher than that of the adjustment of purchases to reduce waste and of recycling. Conversely more action seems to be taken on the waste disposal separation established since the launch of the volume-based waste collection fee system than on environmental education. 2. Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to briefly review the contemporary global environment to suggest and develop appropriate strategies for KODISA and its journals. Research design, data, and methodology - This is an analytical case study that examines KODISA and its journals and the contemporary environment to demonstrate the importance of developing the future goals. Results - The analysis indicates that KODISA and its journals must decide whether to follow same footsteps of many reputable and big academic associations and journals or to start focusing more on the welfare of the public as an academic institution. Researches and scholarly works should be shared with everyone, and practicality and relevancy of researches should be valued and applied for the general welfare. Conclusions - Based on the progress and current success of KODISA and its journals, their goals should not be limited to just becoming a world renown academic association or journals. Promoting the welfare of the public through researches and scholarly activities should be their ultimate goal as an academic institution and journals. Attracting more practitioners and producing more researches that are practical and applicable to the public would be the first step while maintaining the quality and rigor of their academic and scholarly activities, which include publication practices.

The scale and the extent of a aging of population of a rural are more serious than those of a urban in China. However, the welfare policy and the service for the aged in the rural are inferior. China established the different systems of social welfare policy for the city and the rural and has administered it since the china was established. Owing to an open-door policy(opening of a reform) the gap between the two got more deeply distinguished. Accordingly. the striking difference is shown in a living environment and a quality of life of the cities and the rural. I made clear the difference of services for the aged in the rural and the urban examining daily lives, medical industry, recreation systems and so on and analyzing their sources. In addition, I proposed the ways to establish synthetic social welfare policy of the urban and the rural.
