ELG 방법을 활용한 제조설비의 경제적 감가상각률 추정방안 (A Study on the Estimation of Economic Depreciation Rate on Industrial Property Using Equal Life Group Procedure)

  • Several different depreciation systems may be used for group depreciation. The vintage group procedure treats the same type of property placed in service during the same year as a distinct group for depreciation purposes; therefore an estimate of the probable average service life and net salvage ratio(s) of each individual vintage is necessary. The vintage group procedure calculates an accrual rate for each vintage and the accrual rate for an account for specific calendar year is the weighted average vintage accrual rate for that calendar year. A further refinement would be to divide each vintage into groups such that all of the dollars in a group have the same estimated life-an equal life group (ELG). Then each ELG is depreciated over its estimated life. The effect is to recover each dollar over the estimated number of years it is in service. Each vintage is divided into several equal life groups (ELGs) such that all the property in a specific ELG has the same estimated life. The accrual rate for each ELG is based on the estimated life of that ELG. The vintage accrual rate for a specific year is the weighted average ELG accrual rate for that calendar year. In this paper, we illustrate the calculations of vintage accrual rates for each of the calendar years by the ELG depreciation systems.

뉴럴네트워크(NEWFM)를 이용한 심근경색의 특징추출과 분류 (Feature selection and Classification of Heart attack Using NEWFM of Neural Network)

  • 최근 심근경색은 중장년층의 돌연사의 80%로 밝혀졌다. 심근경색의 발병 원인은 복합적이고 갑자기 발생하게 되어 예방이나 건강검진을 하더라도 발병을 예측하기 어렵다. 따라서 빠른 진단과 적절한 치료가 가장 중요하다. 이 논문에서는 심근경색에 대한 정확하고 빠른 진단을 위해 가중퍼지소속함수를 이용한 신경망으로 정상과 비정상 분류에 대한 정확도를 나타내었다. 실험에 사용된 데이터는 14개의 특징과 303개의 샘플 데이터로 이루어진 UCI Machine Learning Repository에서 제공하는 데이터 사용하였다. 2개의 특징을 선택하여 제거하였다. 특징선택을 위한 알고리즘은 average of weight method를 사용하였다. 가중퍼지소속함수를 이용하여 심근경색을 정상과 비정상으로 분류(1-nomal, 2-abnormal)하였다. 실험 결과 정확도가 87.66%가 나왔다.

Evaluating the ANSS and ATS Values of the Multivariate EWMA Control Charts with Markov Chain Method

  • Average number of samples to signal (ANSS) and average time to signal (ATS) are the most widely used criterion for comparing the efficiencies of the quality control charts. In this study the method of evaluating ANSS and ATS values of the multivariate exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) control charts with Markov chain approach was presented when the production process is in control state or out of control state. Through numerical results, it is found that when the number of transient state r is less than 50, the calculated ANSS and ATS values are unstable; and ATS(r) tends to be stabilized when r is greater than 100; in addition, when the properties of multivariate EWMA control chart is evaluated using Markov chain method, the number of transient state r requires bigger values when the smoothing constatnt ${\lambda}$ becomes smaller.

  • When the preform is composed of more than two layers with different in-plane permeability in resin transfer molding, effective average permeability should be determined for the flow analysis in the mold. The most frequently used averaging scheme is the weighted average scheme, but it does not account for the transverse flow between adjacent layers. A new averaging scheme is proposed predicting the effective permeability of the multi-layered preform, which accounts for the transverse flow effect. The new scheme is verified by measuring the effective permeability of the multi-layered preforms and the difference in each flow front position.

공정평균 이동을 탐지하기 위한 적응 합성 관리도 (An Adaptive Synthetic Control Chart for Detecting Shifts in the Process Mean)

  • The synthetic control chart (SCC) proposed by Wu and Spedding (2000) is to detect shifts in the process mean. The performance was re-evaluated by Davis and Woodall (2002), and the steady-state average run length (ARL) performance was shown to be inferior to cumulative sum (CUSUM) or exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) chart This paper proposes a simple adaptive scheme to improve the performance of the synthetic control chart. That is, once a non-conforming (NC) sample occurs, we investigate the next L-consecutive samples with larger sample sizes and shorter sampling intervals. We employ a Markov chain model to derive the ARL and the average time to s19na1 (ATS). We also propose a statistical design procedure for determining decision variables. Comprehensive comparative study shows that the proposed control chart is uniformly superior to the original SCC or double sampling (DS) Χ chart and comparable to the EWMA chart in ATS performance.

Construction of an Economic Sentiment Indicator for the Korean Economy

  • An Economic Sentiment Indicator(ESI) is a composite indicator of business survey indices(BSI) and consumer survey indices(CSI). The ESI designed to reflect economic agents' (this includes producers and consumers) overall perceptions of economic activity in a one-dimensional index. The European Commission has published an ESI since 1985. This paper demonstrates the construction of an ESI for the Korean economy. The BSI and CSI components (having a high correlation and a leading feature with respect to GDP) are selected to construct the ESI and they are aggregated using a weighted average and then scaled to have a long-term average of 100 and a standard deviation of 10. Thus values greater than 100 indicate an above-average economic sentiment and vice versa. The newly constructed Korean ESI that extends to January 2003 shows a good tracking performance of GDP and adequately reflects the overall perception of economic activity.

계수치 데이터를 위한 EWMA 관리도 (Exponentially Weighted Moving Average Control Charts for Counted Data)

  • This study is concerned with design of EWMA control charts for counted data. Control charts for the fraction defective and the number of defects are designed. Performance analysis is accomplished for validity of the designed EWMA control charts. Average run length(ARL) is adopted as a criterion for comparison. Simulation results show that the designed EWMA control charts have shorter ARL than pn, p and c control charts when the fraction nonconforming or the average defect number are shifted. This means that the designed control charts can detect the out of -control state of the process more fastly than the traditional control charts.

  • This paper develops a short term forecasting model for household electric power consumption in Seoul, which can be used for the effective planning and control of utility management. The model developed is based on exponentially weighted moving average model and incorporates monthly average temperature as an exogeneous factor so as to enhance its forecasting accuracy. The model is empirically compared with the Winters' three parameter model which is widely used in practice and the Box-Jenkins model known to be one of the most accurate short term forecasting techniques. The result indicates that the developed hybrid exponential model is better in terms of accuracy measured by average forecast error, mean squared error, and autocorrelated error.

  • From the results of previous my paper [10] in 2015 year of economic and electrical power storage research conference in Naju, this paper describes an application of autoregressive and moving average (ARMA) model to forecast hourly average wind speed (HAWS) in Jeju island. The models are used to build up short-term forecast of hourly average wind speed by the weighted sum of previous wind speed values.

  • 저화질 이미지의 화질 개선에는 전통적으로 히스토그램균등화 기법이 사용되어 왔다. 히스토그램균등화 기법은 입력 이미지의 누적밀도함수를 변환함수로 사용하는 기법으로 이는 이론상 최대의 엔트로피를 가지지만 주관적 화질 측면에서는 백화현상이 나타나는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 히스토그램균등화 기법 기반의 가중 히스토그램 균등화 기법을 제안한다. 이는 인간의 시각특성을 반영한 Weber-Fechner 법칙을 사용하며 입력영상에 독립적인 변환함수를 제공하는 여러 이미지 화질 개선 기법들이 가지는 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 동적영역 재조정 과정을 포함한다. 최종적으로 재조정된 동적영역 범위 내에서 Weber-Fechner 법칙을 적용한 변환함수와 히스토그램균등화 기법을 통해 얻어진 변환함수간의 가중 평균을 통하여 변환함수를 생성한다. 실험결과 제안하는 알고리즘은 주관적 화질 측면에서 대비비를 효과적으로 향상시키는 것을 보여주며, 엔트로피 또한 비교에 사용된 여러 이전의 방법들과 비교하여 유사하거나 높은 값을 가지는 것을 볼 수 있었다.
