최근 디지털 기록관리 패러다임 속에서 중추적 역할을 수행하는 대학기록관 웹사이트는 대학기록을 찾고 활용하는 이용자들에게 더욱 더 중요하게 간주되고 있다. 본 연구는 대학기록관 웹사이트가 질적 향상을 이루기 위해서는 다각적 평가와 분석이 필요하다고 보고 국내 9개의 대학기록관을 선정한 후, 이들에 대하여 웹사이트 구성 내용분석, 웹사이트가 지닌 기능적 유용성, 사용성 및 정보품질에 대한 이용자 만족도, 그리고 웹표준 준수여부 등 다섯 가지의 각도에서 메타 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로 제시된 대학기록관 웹사이트의 개선방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기록정보의 이용을 보다 활성화하기 위해서는 대학기록관의 소개 및 대학기록 활용성에 대한 홍보와 웹사이트에서의 이용자간의 커뮤니케이션을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 한다. 둘째, 웹사이트의 콘텐츠 빈약함은 이용자의 이용도를 떨어뜨리므로 체계적인 대학기록의 수집과 함께 디지털화하는 작업에 집중적인 노력이 필요하다. 셋째, 가장 불만족스럽게 나타난 '검색 기능'을 보완하기 위해서는 이용자 중심의 검색인터페이스를 개발이 필요하다. 넷째, 이용자의 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인이 웹사이트에 대한 '호감도'이므로 이 점을 고려하여 대학기록관 웹사이트를 디자인해야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 웹사이트는 웹표준을 준수하여 보편적 웹접근성을 높여야 할 것이다.

이 연구에서는 국립중앙도서관이 구축 운영하는 웹 아카이브인 OASIS 콘텐츠의 특성과 문제점을 살펴보았다. 2011년 5월 20일부터 6월 10일 사이 OASIS 웹사이트를 통해 제공되는 주제별 디렉토리에서 철학, 종교 등 5개 주제와 사회과학과 기술과학 소주제의 수집 웹사이트 55종 및 '최신 자료'와 '많이 본 자료' 리스트를 분석하였다. OASIS는 수집 콘텐츠의 주제 분포의 편중, 웹사이트 저작자/발행자 권위 및 학술적 가치의 근거 미약, 아카이빙 대상의 정의 부적합, 수집 및 이용 통계 처리의 모호성 등 문제점이 나타났고, 이에 대한 포괄적이며 체계적인 개선책 마련이 시급한 상황이다.

OASIS는 온라인상의 디지털 정보자원을 체계적으로 수집·관리·보존하기 위해 2004년도부터 시작된 국립중앙도서관의 웹 아카이빙 프로젝트이다. 본 연구에서는 OASIS 웹 사이트의 접속 로그 분석과 이용자 설문조사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 문제점을 도출하였다. 첫째, OASIS 프로젝트에 대한 사람들의 인지도는 매우 낮았고, 웹 사이트의 첫 접속자가 많았다. 둘째, OASIS 이용률 제고를 위한 적극적인 홍보나 서비스 개편 등이 미흡했다. 연구에서는 이에 대한 개선점으로 자체적인 직접 홍보와 타 기관과 연계한 간접홍보를 강화할 것을 제안하였다. 또한 이용자 맞춤형 서비스를 통해 서비스를 고도화하고, 흥미와 재미를 유발하는 콘텐츠 강화할 것을 제안하였다.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to reevaluate the quality of reporting on case reports published in Journal of Sasang Constitutional Medicine (SCM) from June 2018 to December 2021, compared with January 2015 to May 2018. Methods Case reports were identified by searching from archive on the website of society of Journal of SCM. We assessed the quality of reporting on them based on CAse REport (CARE) guideline. Results A total of 32 case reports was finally included for the assessment. Overall quality of reporting was improved compared to one of previous study. The median reported rate of 'sufficiently' reporting increased by 7.8% from 66.7% to 74.5%, while the one as evaluated 'not sufficiently' and 'not reported' decreased by 4.1% from 14.8% to 10.7%, and 3.5% from 21.4% to 17.9%, respectively. However, more than 50% of 32 case reports did not still report 5 items about intervention adherence and tolerability(96.9%), diagnostic challenges(93.8%), adverse events(87.5%), timeline(68.8%), and patient's perspective on interventions(65.6%). Compared to the results of previous study, continuous attention is required for adverse events and changes in intervention in which the unreported rate increased by 18.3% and 6.3%, respectively. In addition, prognostic characteristics, patient's informed consent, patient's occupation, and keyword of 'Case report' and 'Sasang (Constitutional) medicine' should be sufficiently reported in the future. Conclusions Despite the overall improvement in the quality of reporting, efforts to improve the quality of reporting should be continued by referring to well-reported cases reports previously published in Journal of SCM.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of case reports published in the Journal of Korean Obstetrics and Gynecology from April 2019 to February 2024, compared with January 2015 to March 2019. Methods: Case reports were selected by searching from archive on the website of society of the Journal of Korean Obstetrics and Gynecology. The quality of the case reports were assessed based on CAse REport (CARE) guideline. Results: A total of 30 case reports was finally included for the assessment. Overall quality of reporting for case reports published from April 2019 to February 2024 was improved compared to one of previous study. However, the 4 items of CARE guidelines with an unreported rate of 50% or more - patient's perspective on interventions (96.67%), diagnostic challenges (93.33%), intervention adherence and tolerability (93.33%), adverse events (56.67%) - are items that require active description in future case reports. In addition, Keyword and timeline have more than 50% reported to be 'Not-sufficient' in both previous and present studies. So active efforts by researchers are needed to include 'Case report (or Case study)' in keywords, and to include intervention by period, symptom changes in a timeline. Conclusions: Despite the overall improvement in the quality of reporting in the Journal of Korean Obstetrics and Gynecology, efforts to improve the quality of case reports should be continued.
