The Web-based simulation was introduced for conducting simulation experiments in the Internet and the Web. Due to the use of the Java language, the Web-based simulation can have such characteristics as reusability, portability, and the capability of execution on the Web. Most of existing Web-based simulation tools have focused mainly on the development of the runtime simulation libraries and mechanisms on the Web. Thus, the model development work in such Web-based simulation tools still requires hand-written coding of model developers. This paper presents a visual model development environment for the Web-based simulation. The proposed environment provides a framework for model development and animation. To show the effectiveness of the proposed environment, we perform simulation experiments for transaction routing algorithms in a distributed transaction processing system.

Web Services for CAD (WSC) aims at interoperation with CAD systems based on Web Services. This paper introduces one part of WSC which enables remote users to retrieve assembly model data using Web Services. However, retrieving assembly model data takes long time. To resolve this problem, this paper proposes using parallel Web Services. As assembly models comprise a set of part models, it is easy to separate the problem domain into smaller problems. In addition, Web Services inherently supports distributed computing. This characteristic makes the parallel processing of Web Services easy. Firstly, the implementation of WSC which retrieves assembly model data based parallel Web Services is shown. And then, for the comparison, the experiments on the retrieval of assembly model data based on single Web Services and parallel Web Services are shown.

본 논문은 Web을 기반으로 하는 수학의 학습모형을 설계하고 학습 자료를 개발하여 정규 교과학습에 투입했을 때의 효과를 측정함으로서 Web 상에서 구현될 수 있는 대체 수업방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 Web을 이용한 교육 자료 개발에 대한 이론적 토대, 교수-학습 모형의 설계와 구성, 정규 수업을 통한 실험 등 세부분으로 이루어져 있다. 먼저, 학습 이론과 학습자 중심의 교수 모형의 개발, 자료 설계 및 구축 과정, 수업 전략 등 Web 기반 교육의 핵심 원리를 살펴본다. 다음, Web 상에서 수학교육과 학습을 구현하기 위한 학습 프로그램을 개발하여 웹 사이트를 통해 학습을 수행하는 수학의 대체 학습모형을 제시한다. 마지막으로, 평면 2차 곡선을 주제로 수업모형을 설계하여 제작하고 이를 실제 수업에 투입했을 때의 학습효과를 전통적인 수업과 비교 측정함으로서 Web 상에서 이루어지는 학습모형을 구성하는데 있어 필요한 요소 및 발전 방향을 함께 모색한다.

The purpose of this study was to explore ecological concepts, epistemological reasoning and reasoning processes through constructing 'food web and food pyramid' in ecology. We conducted classes which involved a 'food web and food pyramid' for $6^{th}$ grade students. Each class is constructed of small groups to do modeling and epistemological reasoning through communication. The researcher had videotaped and recorded each class and have made transcription about classes. We analysed patterns of 'food web and food pyramid models' and reasoning processes according to scientific epistemology using transcription data and student outputs. As a result, students represented phenomenon-based reasoning, relation-based reasoning and model-based reasoning in scientific epistemology from their modeling. Students usually did relation-based reasoning and model-based reasoning in food web which explains ecological phenonenon, while they usually did model-based reasoning in food pyramid which expects ecological phenomenon. Student's reasoning can be limited when they have misconception of scientific knowledge and are limited by fragmentary knowledge. This represents that students has to do relation-based reasoning and model-based reasoning is beneficial in their ecological model. It also suggests that students need to define correct-conception related to ecological modeling(food web, food pyramid).

최근에는 인쇄된 매체인 책과 함께 컴퓨터나 인터넷을 이용한 문학작품인 전자문학에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 이의 활용에 대해서는 다양한 측면에서 활발한 탐구가 있어왔다. 전자도서관을 이용한 효과적인 자료의 탐색, 전자문학 중심의 온라인 독서교육의 전개, 웹 문학의 교육적 활용 탐색 등의 연구가 있어왔고, 그것의 효과에 대해서 매우 긍정적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아동이 흥미를 갖고 있는 매체인 정을 기반으로 문학교육을 전개하는 방법을 탐색하고, 이를 구체화하여 모형으로 제시하였다.

This study reviews and modifies general IS success models to find success factors of WIS(Web-based Information Systems) and to confirm the relationship between WIS success and user's satisfaction of web use. A WISSM(Web-based Information Success Model extended to include EQ(E-Quality) is developed to anticipate user's intention to use Web-based Agricultural Information System and fit into the survey data from 252 WIS users of RDA(Rural Development Administration). PLS is applied to estimate a structural model based on EQ-WISSM to test hypotheses including 1) users reach a high level of intention to use Web-based Information Systems when they feel a high level of interactivity among an 'E-Quality', 'Decision Making Support Satisfaction' and 'Task Support Satisfaction', and E-Quality boosts intention to use Web-based Information Systems. The results show high path coefficients and $R^2$ values and find followings; First, the EQ-WISSM explains the user's intention to use WAIS quite well. Second, E-Quality can be used well in web-based IS environment to predict IS Success. Finally, this research finds the importance of 'Task Support Satisfaction' as a mediator between 'Decision Making Support Satisfaction', 'E-Quality' and 'Intention to Use'.

The current information system audit merely inspects a web based information system by focusing on checking items that are extracted from structured and information engineering model and object-oriented component model. As a result, the checking item of web contents and design is inadequate. This paper aims to extract audit framework in order to strengthen the audit of web contents and design during the development of the web based information system and to suggest checking items based on audit framework. For this, the web development process and web site evaluation model were studied, compared, and analyzed with the current information system development audit. From a result of the survey, it was found that the adequacy of the suggested audit framework and audit checking items is above the average value. It is believed that the suggested audit framework is helpful for the audit of web based information system.

The 'convergence service' in NGN implies the integration of services in NGN with a unified manner to access each service in order to interwork with each service. This Recommendation defines the convergence model for NGN based on Web Services and provides a detailed scenario of each convergence model in form of Web Services.

본 논문에서는 사용자 인터페이스(UI) 모델로부터 모바일 웹앱을 자동으로 생성하는 도구를 제시한다. UI 모델은 UI 중심적인 내장형 시스템을 UI 모델링을 통해 효율적으로 개발하기 위한 방법인 PELUM(Pattern and Event based Logical UI Modeling)을 기반으로 한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 도구는 모델 편집기와 코드 생성기로 이루어져 있다. 모델 편집기는 웹 상에서 논리적 UI 모델(LUM)과 프로그래밍 인터페이스 모델(PIM)을 모델링하는 환경을 제공한다. 코드 생성기는 LUM을 기반으로 앱의 화면구성 및 이벤트 동작을 설정하고 PIM을 기반으로 로컬 데이터베이스 스키마를 자동으로 구성하여 모바일 웹앱을 생성한다. 또한 PIM에서 외부 혹은 open API 주소를 입력 받아 매쉬업 웹앱을 생성하는 기능도 제공한다. 생성된 모바일 웹앱은 사용자가 손쉽게 최적화할 수 있도록 Model-View-Controller(MVC) 아키텍처로 구현하였다. 이를 통해 사용자는 웹 상에서 UI를 모델링하여 여러 기기에서 동작 가능한 모바일 웹앱을 생성할 수 있다.

Currently, the nano economy threatens the mass economy. This is based on the internet business models. In the nano business models based on internet, the diversely personalized services are needed. Many researches of the personalization on the web have been studied. The web usage mining using click stream data is a tool for personalization model. In this paper, we propose an internet business model using evolutionary support vector machine and web response survey as a web usage mining. After analyzing click stream data for web usage mining, a personalized service model is constructed in our work. Also, using an approach of web response survey, we improve the performance of the customers' satisfaction. From the experimental results, we verify the performance of proposed model using two data sets from KDD Cup 2000 and our web server.
