웹데브 기반의 스마트폰 협업 어플리케이션 개발 (Development of a WebDAV-based Smartphone Collaborative Application)

  • 협업 어플리케이션은 원거리의 사용자들이 비동기적인 협업을 수행할 수 있도록 가상의 작업 공간을 이용하여 협업서비스와 환경을 지원한다. 일반적인 협업 어플리케이션은 데스크톱 기반의 개인용 컴퓨터를 바탕으로 사용자들 간 자원 공유, 비동기 통신 등의 협업 기능을 제공하였다. 하지만 이러한 개인용 컴퓨터 기반의 실행 환경은 다양한 장소에서 발생하는 유연한 협업 상황을 지원하기에 많은 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 웹데브 기반으로 협업 서버와 통신을 수행하며 다양한 작업장을 이용한 자원 공유, 그룹 통신과 같은 효과적인 협업 기능을 제공하는 스마트폰 협업 어플리케이션 개발에 대하여 기술한다. 개발된 어플리케이션은 터치스크린/터치슬라이드 기반의 사용자 인터페이스를 통하여 이동 환경에서 높은 사용자 접근성을 제공한다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 협업 서버의 응답을 손쉽게 분석하도록 정의된 협업 프로토콜을 이용하는 웹데브 기반의 협업 라이브러리를 개발하여 스마트폰 협업 어플리케이션이 협업 서버와 효과적으로 통신을 수행하도록 지원한다.

  • 스마트폰 보급화와 함께 누구나 자유롭게 애플리케이션을 개발하여 판매할 수 있는 네이티브 애플리케이션 시장이 성장하고 있다. 애플의 앱스토어를 시작으로 활발해진 애플리케이션 시장은 구글이 구글플레이를 개방하면서 더욱 빠르게 확대되고 있다. 하지만 네이티브 애플리케이션의 플랫폼 종속적인 면으로 인해 개발자들은 각 플랫폼에 맞게 개발해야함에 따라 수익 대비 개발비용이 증가하는 현상이 발생하고 있다. 네이티브 애플리케이션의 종속적인 문제를 해결하기 위해 차세대 웹 기반 언어로 개발된 웹 애플리케이션이 주목을 받고 있지만 각 브라우저의 스토어가 요구하는 매니페스트(Manifest) 형식에 따라 웹 애플리케이션을 제작하기 때문에 브라우저 종속적인 문제를 가진다. 이러한 웹 애플리케이션의 문제는 웹 애플리케이션을 사용하기 위해서 반드시 해당 브라우저를 설치해야만 하며, 타 브라우저의 스토어에 있는 애플리케이션은 사용하지 못하는 현상을 발생시킨다. 종속적인 문제는 사용자의 애플리케이션 선택 범위를 좁히고, 일부 스토어의 편중 현상을 불러올 수 있다. 개방형 웹 애플리케이션 스토어(OWS, Open Web Store)는 다양한 환경을 지원하는 표준 스토어로서, 스토어간 애플리케이션 연동을 통해 플랫폼이나 브라우저에 종속적인 문제점을 해결하고, 소비자의 폭 넓은 선택을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 OWS와 관련하여 연동을 위한 애플리케이션 Manifest 표준과 스토어의 표준 구조를 제안하며, 이를 기반으로 한 연동 시나리오를 제안한다.

  • Web-based learning is currently an active area of research and a considerable number of studies have been conducted on its application in the learning environment. However, in spite of many advances in the research and development of the educational contents, questions about how the environment affects learning remains largely unanswered. In this article, we propose a Web-based learning environment to improve the educational effect. The goal of this article is not to provide a complete system to support Web-based learning but rather to describe some meaningful strategies and fundamental design concepts that utilize information technologies to support teaching and learning.

  • There have been continuous efforts for developing the automatic mechanical design system to increase the efficiency of the tedious design process. However, these efforts have been concentrated on single platform application. Hence, the developed systems have been available only in a designated place and time and have been difficult to modify. It is proposed in this study that a web-based design system is developed to offer more reliability and convenience without any restriction of tine and place. The developed system is programed based on Java, and architecture of the system has object-oriented features of Servlet and JSP and is independent on any operating systems. The developed system has been applied to the initial design of multi-stage gear dirves but however as the framework of the developed system is quite versatile, its application to automatic design of any mechanical system or evaluation can be easily expected.

  • 웹과 스마트폰의 사용이 일상화 되면서 맵 응용에 대한 수요가 웹 및 모바일 환경에서 급증하고 있다. 웹 기반 맵 응용들은 대부분 ArcGIS와 같은 값비싼 개발 환경이나 MapServer와 같은 공개 개발 환경에서 작성되고 있고 모바일 맵 응용들은 Google Maps나 Yahoo Maps와 같은 API 수준에서 작성되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 개발 환경들은 자동화 지원 정도가 미약하여 맵 응용 개발의 많은 부분이 아직 수작업에 의존하고 있다. 우리가 설계하고 구현한 MapAppGen은 신속한 웹 기반 맵 응용의 작성을 지원하기 위해 Drupal CMS(Contents Management System)에 적용 가능한 맵 관련 모듈들을 생성해 줌으로써 맵 응용에 대한 생산성을 향상시켜 준다. MapAppGen으로 생성한 응용은 Drupal이 지원하는 기존의 GMap이나 NodeMap이 생성한 응용에 비해 관심의 대상인 지형/지물과 함께 이 지형/지물과 연관된 모든 정보를 검색해 표시한다. MapAppGen은 Google Maps API를 사용하며 Drupal은 컨텐츠의 생성, 구성, 관리를 지원하는 모듈 기반 시스템이다. 향후, MapAppGen을 확장하여 모바일 맵 응용의 자동 생성도 지원할 예정이다.

인터넷을 이용한 교수 - 학습 모형에 관한 연구

  • A new way of teaching on the Internet can be called Web Based Instruction (WBI). WBI goes far above and beyond teaching in the school. It will have an impact on overall educational activity that will dramatically change many existing educational processes and persuade most teachers to change their conventional teaching methods. The main purposes of this research were to make a comparative study of academic achievement between expository lecture and web-based instruction, and to identify the difference in academic achievement of learning tasks in pre- and post- experiments of WBI. The conclusions of this study were as follows. First. there are no differences in academic achievement between expository lecture and teacher- directed web based instruction. Second, there are no differences in academic achievement between expository lecture and teacher-assisted web based instruction. Third, there is difference in academic achievement between teacher-assisted web based instruction and teacher-directed web based instruction. Fourth, there are no differences in academic achievement of reading tasks in pre- or post- experiments of teacher-directed web based instruction. On the basis of the research results and discussion, we finally present a Web-Application-Model (WAM) to encourage the usage of Internet as a useful teaching channel.

웹 데이터베이스 응용을 위한 액티브데이터마이닝 컴포넌트 개발 (Development of Active Data Mining Component for Web Database Applications)

  • The distinguished prosperity of information technologies from great progress of e-business during the last decade has unavoidably made software development for active data mining to discovery hidden predictive information regarding business trends and behavior from vary large databases. Therefore this paper develops an active mining object(ADMO) component, which provides real-time predictive information from web databases. The ADMO component is to extended ADO(ActiveX Data Object) component to active data mining component based on COM(Component Object Model) for application program interface(API). ADMO component development made use of window script component(WSC) based on XML(eXtensible Markup Language). For the purpose of investigating the application environments and the practical schemes of the ADMO component, experiments for diverse practical applications were performed in this paper. As a result, ADMO component confirmed that it could effectively extract the analytic information of classification and aggregation from vary large databases for Web services.

공영자전거 시스템의 모바일과 웹 통합서비스 (A Mobile Application and Web Integration Service for Public Bicycle Sharing System)

  • This paper proposes and implements a mobile service and web service integration for utilizing public bicycle sharing system NUBIJA. The NUBIJA system is operated by Changwon City, GyeongNam since 2008 and maintains 247 unattended bicycle sharing terminal on the city. Average users per day of the NUBIJA are more than 8,000 and many users want to get more services from their mobile phones. We implemented realtime mobile bicycle rental and return information service. The informations are acquired from each terminal kiosks and we integrated the information and location based services(LBS) on iOS and Android platform. In this paper, we described an integration services between web and mobile application and shows graphical user interface for highly customized on mobile platforms.

  • With the rapid development of deep learning and artificial intelligence, generative models have achieved remarkable success in the field of image generation. By combining the stable diffusion method with Web UI technology, a novel solution is provided for the application of AI painting generation. The application prospects of this technology are very broad and can be applied to multiple fields, such as digital art, concept design, game development, and more. Furthermore, the platform based on Web UI facilitates user operations, making the technology more easily applicable to practical scenarios. This paper introduces the basic principles of Stable Diffusion Web UI technology. This technique utilizes the stability of diffusion processes to improve the output quality of generative models. By gradually introducing noise during the generation process, the model can generate smoother and more coherent images. Additionally, the analysis of different model types and applications within Stable Diffusion Web UI provides creators with a more comprehensive understanding, offering valuable insights for fields such as artistic creation and design.
