The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of electronic trade's web site usability on the user satisfaction and customer royalty. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, a research model was established and obtained the results as follows, First, navigation, information structure characteristic, communication has statistically significant effect on user satisfaction. It means users think more important the convenience, approachableness than web site design, visually menu to the information. Also, it represent communication with user is important factor to use web site. Second, user satisfaction has significant influence on customer royalty. This result signifies the user satisfaction of e-trade site is enhanced by support for convenience, reliability, smoothly communication and eventually affect thr revisiting intention of web site

This research was conducted to propose a sensibility model for web site design. At first, we collected 100 sensibility words related to web site design through analysis of journal and questionnaires and analysis of dictionary. 16 web sites were rated according to the degree of sensibility corresponding to each words, on the basis of the Semantic Differential(SD) method. The results of assessment were analyzed by means of the factor analysis and Multidimensional Scaling(MDS) method. From this relational analysis of sensibility words, the 18 representative words were abstracted as a result of the research included unique, unusual, rich, soft, cold, warm, vivid, simple, neat, dynamic, urban, light, somber, bright, dark, fresh, masculine, and hard. Also three sensibility dimensions bright-dark, soft-hard, simple-rich were found.

Web sites provide the first impression of an organization. For many organizations, web sites are crucial to ensure sales or to procure services within. When a person opens a web site, the first impression is probably made in a few seconds, and the user will either say or move on to the next site on the basis of many factors. One of the factors that may influence users to stay or go is the page aesthetics. Another reason may involve a user's judgment of the site's credibility. Our findings indicate that when the same content is presented using different levels of aesthetic treatment, the content with a higher aesthetic content credibility. Our study suggests that this effect is operational within the first few seconds in which a user views a web page. Given the same content, a higher aesthetic treatment will increase perceived credibility.

When various kinds of contents are developed in accordance with higher rate of Internet use to have quality conditions, added values can be elevated in genuinely strong power of Internet. As soon as visiting web site on Internet, men are invited to visit corresponding information web site by a variety of techniques and colors. The visual expression is thought to be important, and color plans of web designs play an important role. This is because the color decides on images of web design to transfer sense as an important element. The paper selected colors by each type of web site and investigated color images. The purpose of the paper is to classify local web sites by each type, for instance, identity, information/community, entertainment, shopping and learning, etc and to suggest directions of color image plan by each type of web site.

Recently, the quantity of information that is accessible from the Internet is being dramatically increased. Searching the Web for useful information has therefore become increasingly difficult. Thus, much research has been done on web robots which perform internet information filtering based on user interest. If a web site which users want to visit is found, its content is searched by following the searching list or Web sites links in order. This search process takes a long time according as the number of page or site increases so that its performance need to be improved. In order to minimize unnecessary search with web robots, this paper proposes an efficient information collection system based on compare and merge method. In the proposed system, a web robot initially collects information from web sites which users register. From the next visit to the web sites, the web robot compares what it collected with what the web sites have currently. If they are different, the web robot updates what it collected. Only updated web page information is classified according to subject and provided to users so that users can access the updated information quickly.

Because of a rapid increase of information available through web site, a user often falls into confusion of which web sites should be visited for his information needs. If a web site search engine can classify web sites according to their subject or topics, it can help the user to determine which web sites are worth accessing and thus to easily acquire relevant information. In this study, I propose new classifying system with a two level hierarchy and 57 items.

Over the past few decades, a considerable number of studies have been conducted on GIS(Geographic Information System) to process spatial date. As GIS comes to be used in many fields and used by many people, Web GIS which is a GIS system used on the internet, was proposed as a good tool to maintain the need. There is an increasing demand for Web GIS to provide more opportunity for users to manage and to analyze geotechnical data. This study mainly focused on the design and application of Web GIS particularly with geotechnical data, including design of efficient database structure for borehole data. A practical application of the Web GIS to tunnelling site has been successfully completed by the design of several analytical functions.

Users of World Wide Web (Web) experience difficulties in the retrieval of pertinent information due to the increased information provided by Web sites and the complex structure of Web documents that are continuously created, deleted, restructured, and updated. Web providers' efforts to maintain their sites are tend to be less than that of site creation due to the expenses required for maintenance. If information of relationship among Web documents and their validity is provided to Web managers as well as Web developers, they can better serve users. In order to grasp the whole structure of a Web site and to verify the validity of hyperlinks, traversal and analysis of hyperlinks in a Web document are required to provide information for effective and efficient creation and maintenance of the Web. In this paper, we introduce a Web Editor specialized for Web maintenance. We emphasized on two aspects: first, the analysis of HTML Tags to extract hyperlink information and second, establishment of the relationship among hyperlinked documents, and verification of the validity of them.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the quality of the information and characteristics associated with information packaging, and develop suggestions for how this web site might be improved. Methods: The 50 sites were selected for evaluation. Inclusion criteria for evaluation were the purpose and the popularity of the sites. Two kinds of evaluation tool were employed for the analysis: one that evaluate the quality of information and the design of the web sites, and another that evaluate the covered contents. A scoring system allowed the sites point on yes/no basis on the evaluation items. The association between quality of the web sites on sexuality education and their site characteristics were assessed using ANOVA. Conclusions: Major conclusions were as follows. First, the scope and currency of the selected web sites were found to be appropriate. Second, the authority of the information was found to be the most serious problem of the selected sites. Third, the category of sexual behavior found to be the most frequently mentioned and sexual health was the second. The least mentioned category was personal skills. Finally, sites operated by private organization were found to have more accurate information and better design feature than those operated by public organization and/or individual.
