유도초음파의 반사법을 이용한 록볼트 그라우팅의 결함비율 평가 (Defect ratio evaluation of the rock bolt grouting using the reflection method of guided ultrasonic waves)

  • 록볼트는 지하구조물의 주지보재로 적용되고 있다. 록볼트 건전도 평가를 위한 비파괴 방법으로 유도초음파의 투과법을 이용한 기법이 우수한 결과를 보여주고 있다. 하지만 투과법은 철근의 양 끝단에 센서를 부착하기 때문에 암반에 이미 설치되어 있는 록볼트의 건전도 평가는 불가능하다. 본 연구의 목적은 록볼트 철근 두부에 가진센서와 수진센서를 나란히 설치하여 선단에서 반사되어 오는 파를 측정하는 반사법을 자유구속조건 및 지중관입조건에 적용하며, 이를 투과법과 비교하는데 있다. 유도초음파의 가진과 수진을 위해 피에조 디스크 엘리먼트와 AE 센서를 사용하였으며, 측정된 신호로부터 웨이브렛 변환을 통하여 에너지 속도를 산정하였다. 실험결과, 반사법의 결과가 투과법과 거의 일치하였으며, 결함비율이 증가함에 따라 에너지 속도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문은 유도초음파의 반사법이 록볼트 건전도 평가에 있어 현장 적용 가능성 있는 방법이 될 수 있음을 보여준다.

Effects of the length of linkers in metal-azobenzene-metal junction on transmission and ON/OFF ratio

  • Photoisomerizing molecules which can transform their structure by the light irradiation have great deal for the application of photo-switching devices. And azobenzene is the representive type of the photoisomerizing molecules. It can transform their trans- structures into cis- structure as the light for certain wave lengths they receive. This property shows the potential of ON/OFF switching functionalization which can be used into the nano scale photo switch. Furthermore, many studies are interested in the organic linkers that connect the azobenzene and metal electrodes. We used S, $CH_2S$, $(CH_2)_4S$ as the linker to watch the influence of linkers for electronic properties. So We suggest a photoswitching device based on the vertical junction using the first-principles calculations with density functional theory and non-equilibrium Greens function (NEGF). By analyzing the electronic structure and tunneling current caused by the structural difference of the system between cis- and trans- azobenzene, the difference in switching mechanism, ON/OFF ratio and transmission will be watched as the linker changes. And finally We will suggest which linker would be the better for the optimal device architecture which can achieve high control of the ON/OFF photocurrent ratio. This result will show the potential of azobenzene-based photoswitch and provide the critical insight in constructing the optimal device architecture.

  • Recently, extending the local broadcasting and increasing lots of informations. The low-loss communication cable is required in proportion as frequency .The reason of transportation loss causes to using the high frequencies like hundreds of MHz or decades of GHz. For the low transportation loss. It is required the developing-technology of foaming and the high foamed insulator with the dielectric ratio of the nearest to 1. Therefor, there is the purpose of developing the insulating materials for the low dielectric ratio. Also it is important to measure the attenuation, which is one of the important parameters.sa the evaluation of transportation characteristic with frequency in the communication cable. In this paper,the result showed that the dielectric ratio(1.4) of the nearest to 1 and low attenuation with high frequency were very related to the transportation and reflection characteristics such as propagation velocity (82.27%). Delay time and voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR).

초고주파 근거리 통신의 실내 무선 환경 연구 (Study on Indoor Wireless Environment of mmWave WLAN Communication)

  • 최근 UHD, AR, VR 등 초고화질 미디어 데이터 전송에 대한 요구가 증가함에 따라 이를 위한 다양한 기술들이 활발하게 개발되고 있고, 그 중 IEEE 802.11ad 표준의 상용화가 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 초고주파(mmWave)를 기반으로 근거리 통신을 지원하는 IEEE 802.11ad 표준 기반 모듈을 이용하여 실내 무선 환경을 분석하기 위해 테스트 베드를 구축하고 다양한 실내 무선 환경에 대한 측정 실험 결과를 소개하고 분석한다. 모듈로 데이터 전송을 통해 SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio), Throughput 등의 데이터를 수집하는 방법으로 비교하며, 모듈의 빔 패턴과 폭을 측정하여 복도 및 사무실의 실내 환경에서 미치는 영향을 비교하였다. 이를 통해 벽의 신호 반사로 더 높은 SNR 값을 보여 실외보다 실내에 더 적합하다는 것을 확인하였고, LoS(Line of Sight)가 아닐 때의 손실을 벽면의 반사된 신호가 보완할 만큼 충분하지 않다는 것을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 초고주파 무선랜의 실내 사용에 적합하다고 판단되며 차후 추가적인 실험 구성에 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.

  • Classical method calculates the resonance frequency of Helmholtz resonator by postulating that there is a moving mass in neck and a stiffness which expresses the compressibility of cavity. This has been widely accepted as reasonable to determine the resonant frequency, provided that the wave length of interest is longer that any length scale of resonater. Nevertheless, it has been often recognized that this classical method sometimes does not well predict the resonant frequency. This paper decribes the way in which the dynamics of resonator very often does care about the detail geometries of resonator; location of the neck, diameter ratio of the neck to that of cavitty, length of resonator compared with that of neck, etc. This rather unexpected observations have been proved theoretically; 3 dimensional analysis of acoustic wave equation, as well as experimentally by comparing the resonant frequencies, transmission loss, and insertion loss of resonator.

  • This paper presents theoretical and experimental analysis on the characteristics of the power spectrum of electormagnetic waves radiating from the spark plug and their cables of a distributorless ignition system. The theoretical study was conducted applying the microwave transmission line theory and the antenna theory. The experimental works were carried out to measure the standing wave ratio(SWR) and the radiation power spectrum of this system. As a result, it has been found that a spark plug and its cable is working as a monopole antenna radiating elelctromagnetic waves. Because of its similar structure to a monopole antenna, the envelope of radiation power spectrum distribution has a bell shape which can be obtained from a monopole antenna operating as a series resonant circuit. The frequency characteristics from the SWR measurements show a similar frequency characteristics of power spectrum of the system studied. Also, it has been found that the density of the power spectrum of the system fitting a long time used spark plug is higher than that of fitting a new spark plug.

광자 크리스탈로 구성된 광 분배기의 특성 연구 (Analysis of optical splitters in photonic crystals)

  • 본 논문에서는 광자 크리스탈로 구성된 1$\times$4 광 분배기를 설계하여 특성을 Finite-Difference Time-Domain 방법을 사용하여 고찰하였다. Simulation한 결과 bend에서의 4가지 광자 크리스탈 배열 구조와 입사파의 주파수에 따라 투과 특성이 변하는 것을 관찰하였다. 투과 특성이 가장 좋은 bend구조로 1$\times$4광 분배기를 설계하고 특정 주파수를 입사시킨 결과, 입사파의 파워가 4개로 균등히 나누어 짐과 전체 전송 효율이 약 93%임을 관찰하였다.

  • The wireless power transmission market is growing at an average annual rate of 51.5% from $ 16.4 billion in 2015 to $ 131.1 billion in 2020. However, there are limitations to commercialization due to the development of standards and technologies. Thus, this study identified trends in standards and regulations by market and by country. The research collected and filtered a total of 69,488 worldwide wireless power transfer patents by June 2019 and extracted a total of 28,555 patents. Based on this, technology development status was analyzed and predicted. In this study, long-distance and short-range technology development with high technology development difficulty and low technology development ratio could lead to growth of the entire wireless charging market. It is analyzed that investment and policy preparation are necessary to secure source technology for long-distance / near technology development than China, Japan and Europe.

Effect of two-temperature on the energy ratio at the boundary surface of inviscid fluid and piezothermoelastic medium

  • The phenomenon of reflection and transmission of plane waves at an interface between fluid half space and orthotropic piezothermoelastic solid half-space with two-temperature has been investigated. Energy ratios of various reflected and transmitted waves are computed with the use of amplitude ratios. The law of conservation of energy across the interface has been justified. It is found that the energy ratios are the functions of angle of incidence, frequency of independent wave and depend on the different piezothermoelastic material. A piezothermoelastic material has been considered which is in welded contact with water. Variations of energy ratios corresponding to the reflected waves and transmitted waves are computed and shown graphically for the two different models. A particular reduced case of interest is also discussed.

  • 심전도의 압축은 시스템의 처리 속도를 높일 뿐만 아니라 신호의 전송량, 장기적인 기록 데이터 저장량을 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 심전도 데이터의 손실 혹은 무 손실 압축 알고리즘에 대한 성능 평가가 엔지니어의 관점에서 PRD(Percent RMS Difference)와 CR(Compression Ratio)을 측정하였다면 심전도를 진단하는 진단자의 관점에서 압축의 성능 평가에 대한 연구를 하였다. 일반적으로 심전도 데이터의 압축이 진단에 영향을 미치지 않게 하기위해서는 압축 후 복원된 PQRST파의 위치, 길이, 진폭, 파의 형태 등 진단에 필요한 것들이 손상되어선 안 된다. 대표적인 심전도 압축 알고리즘 AZTEC은 기존의 성능평가에 그 효율성이 검증되었지만 진단자의 관점에서 새로운 성능평가를 제시한다.
