온도차를 이용한 유도형 마이크로 EHD 펌프에 관한 연구 (A Study of Micro Induction-type EHD Pump with Temperature Gradient)

  • This paper presents the characteristics of micro induction EHD(Electro Hydro Dynamic) pump in which the fluid has a temperature gradient to the transverse direction of a traveling wave. The effects of the channel depth, the wave length and wave form of the treveling wave has been investigated in micro pump. The effect of temperature gradient also has been investigated. The fluid velocity becomes large as the wave length becomes small and the temperature gradient becomes high. The channel depth has little influence on the fluid velocity. The EHD pump driven by the square wave has the larger fluid velocity than that driven by the sinusoidal wave.

해저 유기퇴적물 수거를 위한 저속 쌍동형 선형개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Low Speed Twin-Hull Form for Seabed Organic Sediment Collection)

  • 본 연구에서는 연안의 해저면에 누적된 퇴적오염물을 효율적으로 수거할 수 있는 저속 쌍동형 정화선에 대한 선수선형의 개념설계에 대해 수행하였다. 선형설계는 선체건조가 용이하도록 단순화하였으며, 쌍동선 선형의 선수 Water line, 선수각 등의 변화에 따른 저항성능의 영향을 검토하였다. Ansys CFX를 이용한 수치시뮬레이션과 회류수조에서의 모형시험결과와의 비교/분석 등을 통하여 선수부 선형변화에 따른 저항성능과 자유표면 유동특성 사이의 관계를 고찰하였으며, 그 결과 선수재 위치와 어깨부 체적의 선수부 이동에 따른 파형개선으로 조파저항이 감소하는 등 저항성능의 향상을 확인하였다.

패턴 제작 방법이 플레어스커트의 실루엣에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Pattern Making Method on the Silhouette of the Flared Skirt)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic knowledge for the pattern development of a flared skirt. Two flat pattern (FP) methods, the concentric circle method and the corrected concentric circle method, and a draping were used for pattern making. Using these patterns, skirts were made with lengthwise grain in the centerline. The influence of pattern making method on the silhouette of the flared skirt was evaluated by the hemlines formed at the skirt worn in a dress form. Moreover, the combined influence of pattern making method and cutting direction on the silhouette of the flared skirt was examined with the draping pattern (DP) skirt and a FP skirt with $45^{\circ}$ bias grain in the centerline. The DP skirt had more uniform nodes and formed a stable wave form than the FP skirts throughout the whole hemlines. The number of nodes was reduced with lining in the two FP skirts, whereas the number of nodes was not changed in the DP skirt. The unit wave form of all the skirts by three patterns showed long loop form, and the slope angles of the unit wave form of the two FP skirts were higher than that of the DP skirt. The silhouette of the flared skirt was highly influenced by the shape of the waist circumference line in patterns. The DP skirt with lengthwise grain in the centerline showed good silhouette with uniform nodes and high marking efficiency, compared to the FP skirt with $45^{\circ}$ bias grain in the centerline.

25노트급 활주형 어선의 기본선형 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hull Form Development of the 25 Knots Class Planing Hull Form Fishing Boat)

  • A series of tests of 5 model ships, selected from a data survey of 10 Gross Tonnage actual fishing boats, were performed in two circulating water channels (Chosun University in Korea and WJFEL in Japan), in order to develop the basic hull form of a 25 knots-class fishing boat. Resistance tests, trim and sinkage measurements and wave pattern observations etc., were included in each I1wdel test, and the model test results were compared and analyzed. The result was as follows: P-4 hull form ship changed into Deep V type bow is the best hull form with good performance, especially with regard to ship's resistance efficiency.

  • 실수축 상의 적분 방법에 의한 정확한 closed-form 그린함수를 이용하여 코플래너 도파로의 불연속에 대한 공간영역 full-wave 해석을 하였다. MPIE(Mixed Potential Integral Equation)를 풀기 위한 수치계산 방법으로는 삼각형 요소를 이용한 갤러킨 방법을 사용하였다. 경계면에서 삼각형 요소상의 기저함수로는 선형함수를 사용하였으며, 관측점과 전원점이 일치하는 특이점 근방의 적분 계산을 위해 면적분을 선적분 형태로 바꾸어 피적분 함수의 특이점이 사라지도록 하는 해석적인 방법을 사용하였다. 실수축 적분방법에 의한 그린함수를 이용함으로써 불연속에 대한 정확한 특성을 구하였다.

47,000톤급 중형 크루즈선의 추진방식에 따른 선미부 형상과 저항특성 비교 (Comparison of the Stern Forms and Resistance Characteristics for G/T 47,000 Class Mid-size Cruise Ships)

  • Various propulsion systems, applicable for a G/T 47,000 class mid-size cruise ship, are discussed and a comparative study on stern forms and hull resistance characteristics is carried out, in relation to these propulsion systems. Based on shipyard production logs on similar cruise ships, a reference hull form of a single shaft propulsion system with center-skeg, is generated. Then two new stern hull forms are derived by using a hull transform technique: consisting of one stern form using a twin-skeg system and the other using the Azipod system. Using a CFD-based commercial flaw analysis program, WAVIS (WAve and VIScous flaw analysis system for hull form development), various hydrodynamic characteristics, including wave profiles and ship hull resistance, are compared for three hull forms.

유선추적법(流線追跡法)에 의(依)한 구상선수선형(球狀船首船型)의 계획(計劃) 및 조파효과(造波效果) (Desigh and Wavemaking Effect of Bulvous Bow Ship by Stream Line Tracing Method)

  • This paper deals with a problem for determining the bulbous bow ship from which pertains to the study of the theoretical ship form planing method. In this paper has been determined the bulbous bow ship form which is a similar in geometric particulars with the conventional liner ship G.T.10, 000 by adopting the variable method for finding the optimum ship form by A.Y.C. Lee and the streamline tracing method by T. Inui and P.C. Pien. Each resistance performance is examined by the towing test and is compared with one another. The followings are the outcome of this study: Among the 5 type models, the bulbous bow ship form M.S. B 1120 is the most excellent for the resistance performance. The effect for the wave resistance is very sharp according to the difference of the bottom flattening of theoretical ship form. The optimum value of the bulbous bow for wave resistance can be obtained by the variable method mentioned above, and for the series of(Main hull+Bulb)opt., ${\alpha}=75/25$, the value is $f{\approx}0.11$.

  • To develope a hull form of catamaran type dredging vessel, resistance characteristics is investigated to find the interaction effect of waves between the two hulls. Re fore body shape is simplified as two dimensional wedge shape for the maintenance and disassembly/assembly. Based on MAC method, numerical simulation is performed in staggered variable mesh system. Re conservation form of Euler equations and continuity equation are applied as governing equations. To verify numerical methods, the wive patterns along the hull surface are compared with the results of model tests. This study is performed as varying wedge shape of the bow and the distance between the two hulls. The wave interaction between two hulls are observed to investigate the relation the resistance performance and the flow characteristics. Suitable hull form and distance between two hulls are discussed.

  • The initial hull form of a 100 tan, 45 knot class high-speed craft is newly developed. The resistance performances are investigated using a model test at high speed in a circulating water channel. The effect of the initial trim is studied together. Wave patterns are observed to clarify the relationship between the resistance performance and the wave characteristics. It can be found that the initial trim plays a role in increasing the resistance performance above a certain velocity.
