뿜칠 방수 멤브레인 시작품의 기초 물성평가 (An Experimental Study on Fundamental Properties of a Sprayable Waterproofing Membrane)

  • 뿜칠 방수 멤브레인은 다양한 지하 굴착 현장에서 종래의 시트 방수 멤브레인을 대체할 수 있는 방수 재료로 고려되고 있다. 하지만 아직까지 뿜칠 방수 멤브레인의 특성들에 대한 기초적인 연구가 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 새롭게 제작된 액상과 분말의 2성분 뿜칠 방수 멤브레인 시작품에 대한 물리적 역학적 특성들을 측정하였다. 또한 구성재료와 시공방법인 유사한 박층 뿜칠 라이너와 뿜칠 방수 멤브레인의 특성들을 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 뿜칠 방수 멤브레인의 신장율은 약 250~300%로서 TSL과 비교할 때 상대적으로 매우 큰 연성을 나타내었다. 하지만 뿜칠 방수 멤브레인의 부착강도와 지지력은 박층 뿜칠 라이너보다 다소 낮게 측정되어 지보재로서의 적용에는 한계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3차원 X-ray CT 촬영에 의한 뿜칠 방수 멤브레인의 공극률은 26.13%로 분석되었으나, 대부분의 공극들은 양생 과정 중에 형성된 것으로서 서로 연결되어 있지는 않고 개별적으로 존재하는 것으로 나타났다.

뿜칠형 수용성 고무화 아스팔트 차수재의 성능평가 및 폐기물 매립지 적용성 검토에 관한 연구 (A Study on Examination of Application in Waste Filled Land and Performance Evaluation as Waterproofing Material by the Spray Water-Soluble Rubber Asphalt)

  • This study examinated the application in construction field and the development of waterproofing material system by the spray water-soluble rubber asphalt to solve the problems of synthetic polymer sheet and gio membrane(A mat sheet of Bentonite) that had been used domestic waterproofing material in advance. As the result of study, characters of study water-soluble rudder asphalt are the follows: 1) The amount of water absorption was '0.06'g and the seepage quality was '0'g in result. 2) The tensile strength was about 30.7kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2 and the elongation was about 72.4% in result. 3) After reliance of temperature test had been ended, the tensile strength was about 72.4kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2 in low temperature and about 30.7kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2 in normal temperature. 4) After acid and alkaline treatment had been ended, the tensile strength was about 19.7kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and about 21.9kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2 in result. 5) After chlorine ion treatment had been ended, the tensile strength was 28.5kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and the elongation was 250% in result. 6) The impact performance was subsided at 1.5m height. 7) After promotion weathering had been ended, the tensile and elongation was about 26.0kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2, 214% in result. So, this study can propose the spray water-soluble rubber asphalt to satisfy the and durability of waste filled land.

  • Ozone is a strong oxidizing materials in the advanced water treatment facilities. However, due to such a strong oxidation, Ozone eroded waterproofing/corrosion on the concrete surface and caused performance degradation.   • Urethane, epoxy, acrylic have common property to adhere on the concrete dried surface in the waterproofing materials at present. In the wet condition, however, the materials such as urethane, epoxy, acrylic need a long hardening time and it become a reason of water leakage as the materials breaking down. it is one of the problem to adhere to the substrate. Therefore, in this thesis, I focused to assure the structural safety and durability and quality for waterproofing and safe of construction cost by cut down the cost of labor and reduce the term of works as searching the application of field condition for high adhesive spray type of degenerated and rubberized asphalt membrane material.

X-ray CT를 이용한 분무식 방수 멤브레인의 공극 내 물 침투 분석 (Analysis of Water Penetration through Pores in Spray-applied Waterproofing Membrane Using X-ray CT Images)

  • 분무식 방수 멤브레인은 3-5mm 두께로 숏크리트 또는 콘크리트 면에 타설하여 불투수층을 형성시킴으로써 방수효과를 나타낸다. 본 연구는 공극을 포함하는 분무식 방수 멤브레인을 조사하기 위하여 X-ray CT기술을 이용하여 내부구조를 파악하였다. 분무식 방수 멤브레인의 X-ray이미지를 얻기 전에 28일 동안 500kPa의 수압을 작용시키는 방수성능시험을 수행하였고 물이 침투되어있는 멤브레인 시편에 대해 X-ray CT를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 멤브레인 내부의 큰 공극들이 포화되어 있지 않은 점과 미세공극의 포화도가 높은 점을 볼 때, 수분의 이동이 미세공극을 통해 이루어지는 것으로 예상할 수 있었다. 또한 X-ray 이미지는 멤브레인 내부의 공극 크기 및 분포와 함수여부를 판단하는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었으나, 함수량을 계산하기 위해 적용하는 임계값에 따라 함수율의 차이가 발생할 수 있으므로 이에 대한 주의가 필요하다.

  • This study discusses the development of waterproofing layer jet-spray nozzle that forms a three-dimensional air cell. This nozzle has an air flow generation mechanism in the air groove of the attachment cell part located at the end of the injection nozzle. Since the air grooves also function as an air curtain, the airborne particles generated when the waterproof material is sprayed is effectively blocked. In the past, spraying of the waterproof material through the high pressure was possible, but this technology allows stable injection due to the static agitation method, and various problems caused by particle generation has been (damages to neighboring areas, economic loss, etc.) minimized.

  • In this study, the chemical resistance of polyurea resin waterproofing and anti-corrosion materials that is applied to the social infrastructure was analyzed. The result in this study will be utilizing as a basic data for establishing the quality standards which are able to judge the chemically resistant characteristic of polyurea resin waterproofing and anti-corrosion materials.

Interfacial properties of composite shotcrete containing sprayed waterproofing membrane

  • This study evaluates the interfacial properties of composite specimens consisting of shotcrete and sprayed waterproofing membrane. Two different membrane prototypes were first produced and tested for their waterproofing ability. Then composite specimens were prepared and their interfacial properties assessed in direct shear and uniaxial compression tests. The direct shear test showed the peak shear strength and shear stiffness of the composites' interface decreased as the membrane layer became thicker. The shear stiffness, a key input parameter for numerical analysis, was estimated to be 0.32-1.74 GPa/m. Shear stress transfer at the interface between the shotcrete and membrane clearly emerged when measuring peak shear strengths (1-3 MPa) under given normal stress conditions of 0.3-1.5 MPa. The failure mechanism was predominantly shear failure at the interface in most composite specimens, and shear failure in the membranes. The uniaxial compression test yielded normal stiffness values for the composite specimens of 5-24 GPa/m. The composite specimens appeared to fail by the compressive force forming transverse tension cracks, mainly around the shotcrete surface perpendicular to the membrane layer. Even though the composite specimens had strength and stiffness values sufficient for shear stress transfer at the interfaces of the two shotcrete layers and the membrane, the sprayed waterproofing membrane should be as thin as possible whilst ensuring waterproofing so as to obtain higher strength and stiffness at the interface.

아파트 건축 작업장에서 사용되는 에피클로로하이드린-비스페놀A의 노출 평가: 파일럿 연구 (Evaluation of Bisphenol A-Epichlorohydrin Exposure Workers in Apartment Building Construction: Pilot Study)

  • Objectives: The study is to evaluate biological monitoring and risk assessment for epichlorohydrin-bisphenol A resin exposed from waterproofing or finishing work in the apartment building construction. Methods: Subjected workers were working on spray-painting and waterproofing work for 8 hours per day every 20 days. The urine samples were collected at the end of 20 days working period. For urinary bisphenol A as metabolite from epichlorohydrin-bisphenol A exposure, urine samples were analyzed with liquid chromatography mass-mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS). Results: Geometric means of urinary bisphenol A(BPA) with no hydrolysis and with enzymic hydrolysis(BPA-EH) in the workers were $1.10{\mu}g/L$ and $2.90{\mu}g/L$. BPA-EH was 4 times higher than that of control group. The factors for working period and ages did not affect the variation of BPA and BPA-EH. The levels for BPA and BPA-EH were not higher than 95th percentile for exposure on human-life environment. Conclusions: The BPA and BPA-EH were therefore effective biological markers for epichlorohydrin-bisphenol A exposure workers, but not seem to hazardous exposure level. Waterproofing work in construction workshop is required to measuring work environment and health care management for the workers.
