초등학교 학생들의 증발과 응결 개념에 대한 연구 (Study on students과 concepts of evaporation and condensation in elementary school)

  • We study that what kind of the concepts of evaporation and condensation students of elementary school have. The results are following. (1) The students have simple concepts of evaporation on natural circumstance. However, they don't understand about various effect on evaporation. (2) They don't know where the evaporized water is comming from. (3) They have experiences on observing condensation of wale. (70%), however don't know that the water is evaporized in the air. (4) They have more understanding about evaporation, more correct concepts on condensation in circulation of water.

물의 상태, 상태변화 및 그 조건에 대한 유치원, 초등, 중등 과학 교재의 내용 분석 (Analysis of K-12 Science Textbooks Related to 'States of Water', 'State Change of Water', and 'Conditions of State Change')

  • 이 연구에서는 물의 상태와 상태 변화 및 상태변화의 조건을 중심으로 유치원, 초등, 중등 과학 교재의 내용을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 유치원 제 5차 교육과정 교재들과 제 6차 교육과정에 근거한 초등학교 자연 교과서와 중학교 과학 교과서를 분석하였다. 개념의 학년별 전개를 주제형 계열화와 나선형 계열화에 비추어 분석한 결과, 일부 내용은 적절하게 구성되었으나, 일부 내용은 부적절한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학년이 증가함에 따라 개념은 지각적 인식 수준, 거시적 현상 이해 수준과 용어 인식 수준, 리고 미시적 개념 이해 수준으로 전개되었음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 응고와 융해 등 상태변화 중 일부개념과 열, 온도, 바람, 습도, 기압 등 상태변화의 조건에서는 미시적 개념 이해 수준의 전개가 이루어지지 않았다. 그리고 상태변화 개념과 열, 바람 등 일부상태변화의 조건 개념에서는 용어 인식 수준의 내용도 전개되지 않았다.

농업용 저수지의 하한 관리 저수율 설정에 따른 농업용수 및 환경용수 공급 가능성 고찰 (A Study on the Potential of Agricultural Water and Environmental Flow Supply according to Regulating Lower Control Storage Rate for the Irrigation Reservoir)

  • While the main purpose of irrigation reservoirs is to supply agricultural water, the needs of environmental flow and flood control has been expanded. The agricultural reservoirs have been operated in the form of carry-over system until now. Therefore, the supply of agricultural water is difficult when the storage rate is not sufficiently secured after large volume of irrigation. In addition, there are regulation of the upper storage rate for some large reservoirs during the flood season, but lower storage rate is not regulated. Accordingly, this study aims to evaluate the capacity of agricultural water and environmental flow supply by setting the management lower storage rate of reservoir. The changes in the supply of agricultural and environmental flow was simulated according to the three different regulating lower storage rate scenarios. As a result, it was judged effective in terms of water supply managing the lower storage rate up to 30% when the initial storage rate of farming period is above annual average for the Naju reservoir considering existing water management practice. If the lower storage rate would have been controlled above 30%, the supply of agricultural water might be increased and non-effective discharge amount would be decreased compared to other scenarios during dry period of 2016-2018.

  • 최근 국내시장에 판매되고 있는 막걸리의 종류는 매우 다양하며, 주류시장에서도 큰 수입원으로 부각되고 있다. 또한 국내뿐 만아니라 해외수출 비중도 높아지고 있으며, 주류관련 기업에서는 고급화 전략으로 마케팅을 하고 있다. 막걸리와 더불어 상품화 비중이 높아지고 있는 기능성 주류는 미용, 건강, 갈증해소 등 다양한 효능을 가지고 있으나, 일반적인 주류의 홍보에 비해 상대적으로 미비한 상태이다. 본 연구의 일부분으로 제작되는 막걸리는 피부미용, 면역력 강화, 뇌기능 개선 등의 효과를 갖는 감태를 주성분으로 하여 제조한 기능성 주류이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 감태를 이용한 기능성 막걸리의 제조과정과 막걸리의 특성을 파악한 효과적인 홍보 방안을 위한 콘텐츠 설계 및 개발에 대한 제안한다.

Effects of Water Exercise on the Foot Pressure Distribution of a Female Adult with Hemiplegia: A Biomechanical Case Study

  • This case study was conducted to determine the effects of water exercise on the foot pressure distribution (FPD) of persons who have a hemiplegia. A 43-year old female with hemiplegia acquired at the age of 3 years was selected from a local disability program. A 12-week water exercise program (60 min. per session and twice a week) focusing on gait training was developed and implemented as the intervention of this study. A recent product of the Pedar-X (Novel, Germany) was used to measure the FPD of hemiplegic gait before and after the intervention. Variables considered in this study included the average pressure (AP), contact area (CA), maximum pressure (MP), ground reaction force (GRF), and center of pressure (COP). The data collected were analyzed via the descriptive statistics and qualitative analyses on the graphical presentations of the FPD. Results revealed that the AP and CA of the hemiplegic foot was considerably increased before and after the intervention. Similar results were also found in the MP and GRF. Additionally, the graphical route of the COP related to hemiplegic foot was changed in a positive way after the intervention. It can be concluded that water exercise may be beneficial to restore hemiplegic gait. Limitations related to measurement and generalizability are further discussed.

물과 에탄을 이성분 혼합용매 계에서 부피 및 온도 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of Volume and Temperature in Aqueous Binary Solvent with Ethanol)

  • This paper is to study on the change of volume and temperature of the solution which mixed water with ethanol. And its main purpose is to examine closely how the volume changes, and to find the method to maximize the change of the volume. The summaries for results of the study are; First, we were known that water and ethanol are homogeneously mixed. But two solvents does not mix homogeneously by different specific gravity at early stages. Second, we could see that the volume changed large at homogeneous mixed water with ethanol by stirrer, the change of volume is the largest value when water mixed with ethanol in the ratio of one to one. Third, when water mixed with ethanol in the ratio of one to one, the change of temperature is very large by activated hydrogen bond. We conclude that it is the best result when ratio of water and ethanol is one to one and the solution is well mixed.

연천 은대리 물거미 서식지의 수문적 특성 (Hydrological Properties of the Water Spider Habitat in Yeoncheon)

  • In recent years, the drying of the water spider habitat has been progressing rapidly. This is the primary cause of extreme climatic events in 2014/2015 with overall reduction in annual precipitation, but impermeable clayey layer formed in the superficial formation also plays an important role. The clayey layer is a critical factor in the formation of wetlands on a well-drained lava plateau, but paradoxically, it restricts the connection with ground water, increasing the instability of the water balance and making it precipitation-dependent structure. In addition, construction of roads/drainways has also caused drying of wetlands by blocking or rapidly spilling surface water/sheet flow. Therefore, to keep the wetlands sustainable, it should increase the flow into the wetlands by removing the road/drainways and floodgates installed to reduce the outflow.

Establishment strategy of a rare wetland species Sparganium erectum in Korea

  • Background: To reveal establishment strategy of Sparganium erectum, we tried to find realized niche of adults through field survey and effects of water level on the establishment process through mesocosm experiments. Results: In the field survey, the height and coverage of community living in deeper water were greater than those of community living in shallow water. There was no statistically significant difference (p > 0.05) in the means of water and soil properties between the two communities. In mesocosm experiments, we found no correlation between water levels and germination rates, but S. erectum seedlings have characteristics of post germination seedling buoyancy when S. erectum seeds germinated in inundation conditions. Shoot height, total leaf length, and survival rates of sinking seedlings in shallow water levels at -5, 0, and 5 cm were higher than those in deeper water levels at 10 and 20 cm. Floating seedlings established in water levels of 3 and 6 cm only. The seedlings could live up to 6 weeks in floating state but died if they were unable to establish. Conclusions: The water level around adult S. erectum communities in the field were different from the water level at which S. erectum seedlings can survive in the mesocosm experiments. The findings provided not only understanding of S. erectum habitat characteristics but also evidence to connect historical links between the early seedlings stage and adult habitat conditions. We suggested the logical establishment strategy of S. erectum based on the data.
