남은 음식물 사료와 생균제가 산란계의 생산성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Food Waste feed and Probiotics Supplement on Productivity in Layer Chicks)

  • 본 실험은 산란계에서 남은 음식물사료에 생균제를 첨가할 경우 난의 생산율과 생산성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 사양시험은 일반 사료만으로 구성된 대조구와 Food 30% + Protein 30% + Probiotics (0%, 0.5%, 1.0% 및 1.5%)로 구성된 첨가구로 총 5처리 4반복으로 반복당 6수로 120수를 6주간 사양시험을 실시하였다. 산란률은 생균제 1.5%첨가구가 평균 산란율 97.91%로 가장 높게 나타났으며 (P<0.05) 대조구와 생균제 첨가구들 사이의 난중은 통계적인 유의차는 없었다 (P>0.05). 산란량은 생균제 0% 첨가구가 60.40으로 가장 높은 산란량을 보여주었다 (P<0.05). 생균제 첨가수준이 증가할수록 백색도 (L), 적색도 (a), 황색도 (b) 대조구에 비해 모두 증가하는 경향이 있었으며 특히 적색도(a)에서는 생균제 0%, 0.5%, 1.0% 및 1.5% 첨가구가 각각 5.35, 6.25, 5.23 및 4.75로 대조구 -0.17에 비해 커다란 차이가 있었다 (P<0.05). 하우 유니트(HU)는 생균제1.5% 첨가구의 수치가 63.41로 가장 높았으며 생균제 첨가수준이 증가할수록 하우 유니트(HU)는 증가하였다 (P<0.05).

  • 'BUDDEUMI and BUDDEUMI's treatment; is a new remedy of the synchronous combination of cupping boil and moxibustion for the exclusion of human body's waste product. 'BUDDEUMI and BUDDEUMI's' treatment' wishes the reachfor improving the effect of cupping boil and moxibustion by the synchronous combination. As the negative pressure of cupping and the hot cure of moxa are made up of BUDDEUMI structural character. The effects of BUDDEMI's treatment are observed on the strengthening of skin breation and the detoxification of blood waste material. Therefor 'BUDDEUMI and BUDDEMI's treatment' is expected for the healthy article of Senior-Friendly.

비만 및 대사성질환에 적용 가능한 커피관장법 제안 (A Proposal of the Coffee Enema on Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome)

  • Coffee enema was started by American doctor Max Gerson for cancer patients in 1920s. Coffee enema is known to remove waste material and toxins in the colon, and increase the enzymatic activity in the liver. In alternative medicine, It is to be used for fecal stasis removal, detoxification, obesity, pain control etc. In recently, The Society of Korean Medicine for Obesity Research make strenuous efforts to spread a new treatment about obesity. And Obesity is already known as one of the main causes of adult diseases. If we use the Korean medical treatment, and at the same time use coffee enema, maybe we will have a good or better clinical result about obesity and metabolic syndrome. In conclusion, we introduce a method that can be easily coffee enema. Thus, we hope that the reference to the teaching of patients.

  • Hospital waste incinerating workers are exposed to various pyrolysis products including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PARs). We evaluated their exposure by assessing urinary 1-hydroxypyrene glucuronide (1-OHPG), as internal dose of PAH exposure. The potential effect of genetic polymorphisms of GSTM1/T1 involved in PAH metabolisms was also investigated.(omitted)

자원회수시설 근로자 및 인근 거주 주민의 혈중 다이옥신 농도 분포 (Serum PCDDs/PCDFs Levels for the Residents Living in the Vicinity and Workers of the Municipal Waste Incinerators in Seoul, Korea)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 자원회수시설 근로자 및 인근 지역 거주 주민의 혈중다이옥신류 농도를 평가하고, 혈중 다이옥신류 농도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 평가하는 것이다. $2002{\sim}2004$년까지 대상 자원회수시설에 3년 이상 근무한 근로자 31명과 시설로부터 300 m이내 지역에서 3년 이상 거주한 주민 68명을 선정하여 혈액을 채취하였다. 참고 자료로 대상 자원회수시설에 영향을 받지 않는 도시 지역에 거주하는 일반 주민 11명을 함께 평가하였다. 혈액 채취 시 개인 특성에 대한 설문조사도 함께 실시하였다. 시설 근로자의 혈중 다이옥신류 농도는 평균 $2.09{\sim}66.67pg/g$ lipid, 인근 거주 주민은 $1.00{\sim}29.33pg/g$ lipid, 일반 도시 주민은 $5.29{\sim}35.93pg/g$ lipid로 측정되었다. 시설 인근 지역 거주 주민 및 일반 도시 주민 중 비 흡연자의 인체 부하량은 각각 3.0 ng TEQ/g lipid와 4.5 ng TEQ/g lipid로 평가되었다. 대상군의 특성에 따른 혈중 다이옥신류 농도 차이는 관찰되지 않았으며, 연령과 유의한 양의 상관성이 있었다.

  • IDOD (Immediate Dissolved Oxygen Demand) is a value of the oxygen demand after 15 minute of inoculation by inorganic reducing salts. Industrial development and urban enlargement are bringing water pollution deeply, and industrial waste waters are the source of the inorganic reducing salts. Author investigated the IDOD value change according to the inorganic salts and gained the following results: 1. IDOD value influenced by $Na_{2}SO_3$ is 81.4 ppm. 2. Generally sulfur compounds are highly effecting on IDOD. 3. The nitrite salt had little influence on IDOD.

Ultrastructural Localization of Toxocara canis Larval Antigen Reacted with a Seropositive Human Serum

  • Excretory-secretory products of Toxocara canis larvae have been considered as a major functional antigen in immune responses against toxocariasis. We studied ultrastructural localization of T. canis second-stage larval antigen using a seropositive human serum under immunogold electron microscopy. High-density gold particles were observed in the secretory cells, excretory duct, intestinal epithelium, and cuticle of the larval worm sections. The distribution of the positive reactions in the larval worms suggests that the nature of the antigen is excretory-secretory antigen including waste metabolites and secretory enzymes.

  • The publication of genetic epidemiology meta-analyses has increased rapidly, but it has been suggested that many of the statistically significant results are false positive. In addition, most such meta-analyses have been redundant, duplicate, and erroneous, leading to research waste. In addition, since most claimed candidate gene associations were false-positives, correctly interpreting the published results is important. In this review, we emphasize the importance of interpreting the results of genetic epidemiology meta-analyses using Bayesian statistics and gene network analysis, which could be applied in other diseases.

  • Diabetic nephropathy is defined that renal glomeruluses are damaged by diabetes melitus and proteins that are not excreted to urine normally are exhausted, or do not excrete waste matter to urine, so-called chronic renal failure state. Clinical stage is explained divided 5. If reached 4 or 5 stage, overt proteinuria is occurred to clinical nephropathy, and hypoalbuminemia, azotemia, hypertension, and edema become serious. Concept about edema is differing comprehension about mechanism of a disease, and treatment methodaccording to Sasang Constitution in Sasang Constitutional Medicine. I treated edemtous Soyangin(少陽人) patient with Dojeokgangkitang(導赤降氣湯) who diagnosed as diabetic nephropathy and wrongly treated in Soeumin. I have got good results, so I do case study.
