FPGA 기반의 터치스크린 다중입력처리를 위한 고속 렌더링 구현 (An Implementation of High Speed Rendering to Process Touch Screen Multiple Inputs based on FPGA)

  • A large amount of processing time is required if the process of detecting the touch position on the touch screen and displaying it on the display panel is performed only by software. In this paper, we propose a method to output information touched on the screen using H/W method in order to improve the response speed delay. In the FPGA module designed for the HDMI signal output to the display module, the touch information is input to the serial data signal including touch coordinate information, point size, and color information. Then the module render the image using HDMI signal input to the module and the touch information. This method has a pipeline structure so it has effect of reducing the delay time that occurs in outputting the touch information compared with the conventional software processing method.

공기온도가 열전도성 기판 위에 탑재된 군용 전자칩 냉각에 미치는 영향 (The effect of inlet air temperature for the cooling of the military electronic chip on the thermal conductive board)

  • The conjugate heat transfer from the simulated module in a horizontal channel with the variation of inlet air temperature is experimentally investigated. The aim of this study is to estimate temperature difference between a module and inlet air. This study is performed with the variation of parameters that are inlet air temperature(Ti=25~$55^{\circ}C), thermal resistance( $R_c$=0.05, 4.11, 158 K/W), inlet air velocity(Vi=0.1~1.5m/s), and input power(Q=3, 7 W). The results show that the effect of inlet air temperature is little, at the case of using conductive board. And input power was most effective parameter on the temperature difference between module and Inlet air.

  • In this paper, The laser transmitter module is designed as the subsystem of the high repetitive laser rangefinder. The module consists of high voltage power supply, high voltage control circuits, high voltage discharger, electro-optic Q-switch driver, and laser resonator. The high voltage power supply is composed of 2-phase flyback converter. And it has 220W power level and 78% conversion efficiency. From the Q-switch driver of the crossed porro resonator, the phase retardation voltage is switched from 600V to -1500V with 200ns falling time. The module can be operated up to 15Hz. And it generates the laser pulse which has 20ns width and 80mJ.

  • From a viewpoint of heat stress at high temperatures and contact thermal resistance, it is confirmed that the optimal structure is the skeleton structure using Cu substrate on the cooling side, which has excellent heat conductivity and the optimal installation method is to adopt a carbon sheet and a mica sheet to the high temperature side, where Si grease is applied to the low temperature side, under pressurized condition. The power of the developed modules indicated 0.5W in an $FeSi_2$ module and 3.8 W with a SiGe module at 823K, respectively.

  • Recent advances in embedded system technology have brought more dependence on automating train control. While much efforts have been reported to improve electronic hardware's safety, not so much systematic approaches to evaluate software's safety, especially for the vital software running on board train controllers. In this paper, we have developed a software testing tool to evaluate train control system software safety, expecially "Metric Analysis" module. We have reviewed requirements in the international standards and surveyed available tools in the market. From this, we identified the S/W metric analysis module is required for software evaluation. So we have developed S/W metric analysis module for railway signaling systems.

  • 본 논문에서는 ARM 칩인 AT91SAM7S256, UHF RFID R/W 모듈인 WJ7090 및 무선 랜(IEEE 802.11.a/b)을 이용하여 UHF RFID R/W 전용 단말기를 개발하고 그 성능을 개선하였다. 또한 AT91SAM7S2S6에서 UHF R/W 모듈인 WJ7090으로 보내지는 송수신패킷을 개발하였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 무선랜(IEEE 802.11.a/b) 기반의 UHF RFID R/W 전용 단말기의 유용성을 평가하기 위해 성능 테스트를 실시하였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 UHF RFID R/W 전용 단말기는 RFID Tag값을 Tagging하고 그 값을 무선 랜(IEEE 802.11.a/b)을 통해서 서버로 전송하고, 그 결과를 단말기에 표시하였고, 성능실험을 통해 개발한 단말기의 우수성 및 송수신패킷에 대한 실험 결과를 나타내었다.

통신해양기상위성 송수신자료전처리시스템의 감시 및 제어 소프트웨어 개발 (Development of COMS DATS C&M S/W)

  • COMS DATS C&M 소프트웨어는 통신해양기상위성(CONS)의 송수신자료전처리시스템에 대하여 상대감시 및 원격조정기능을 제공하는 통합관리시스템이다. DATS C&M 소프트웨어는 시스템 관리 모듈, 감시 및 제어 모들, 데이터 관리 모듈, 그리고 상태 데이터 분석 모듈로 구성되어 있으며, 특히 감시 및 제어 모듈은 위성운영센터가 기상위성센터의 백업 시스템으로 송수신자료전처리시스템을 운영하도록 결정됨에 따라 동일만 두 시스템의 동기화를 지원하도록 설계되었다. 이 논문에서는 DATS C&M 소프트웨어의 설계, 구현, 그리고 개발 결과에 대한 내용을 기술하고 있다.

국부 근접 난방 모듈을 이용한 전기차 탑승자의 열쾌적성에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental study on Thermal Comfort of Electric Vehicle Occupants Using Local Proximity Heating Module)

  • In order to meet the technological demand for indoor heating systems that ensure winter thermal comfort during the transition from internal combustion engines to electrification, a localized proximity heating module using surface heating elements was developed. The operational performance of heating module was tested in the low temperature chamber. The experiment conditions were varied by changing the chamber temperature (-10, 0℃), the air flow rate (6.2, 6.0, 4.2m3/h), the heater power (100, 80, 60, 40W). Thermal comfort model was confirmed using the CBE Thermal Comfort Tool applying ASHRAE standard 55. Under -10℃ condition, thermal comfort was satisfied at 23.4, 23.2℃ at power of 100W and air flow rate 6.0, 4.6m3/h. Under 0℃ condition, at power of 80W, air flow rate 6.2, 6.0m3/h, and at power of 60W, air flow rate 4.6m3/h showed results of 25.7, 26.1, 23.0℃, respectively, satisfying thermal comfort. This study analyzed the operating performance of the local proximity heating module in the low temperature chamber and applied thermal comfort model to prove applicability of local proximity heating module using surface heating elements and how to utilize the thermal comfort model.

TIT 기반에 IP-TV 플랫폼의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 방송 모니터 개발 (A Development of mobile broadcasting monitor for improving reliability on IP-TV Platform based on TIT)

  • 국내에서는 새마을 열차, 지하철 일부 구간에 TIT 기술 기반의 IP-TV 방송 서비스를 제공되고 있으나, 교차 실행 시간 구간에서 메모리 누수 및 오버플로우가 빈번히 발생되어 서비스의 신뢰성 약화에 주요한 원인이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 물리적 실행 환경이 열악한 TIT 기반의 IP-TV 플랫폼의 연속 동작의 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해 Monitoring module과 Reset module을 개발하고 재생 시간이 실험을 통해 7.2% 향상시킬 수 있었다. 특히, Monitoring module은 기존 시스템(8)의 문제점인 S/W Fault에 기인된 Dead Lock 상태를 극복하기 위해 H/W기반의 Reset Module을 추가하여 서비스 차원의 결함 허용(Fault Tolerance)을 제공하였다.

  • We have developed a slab-type Nd:YAG gain module based on the techniques of conduction cooling and end pumping. The Nd:YAG slab is end-capped on both ends by undoped pure YAG and is pumped through the end-caps by stacked arrays of laser diode bars. The slab's surfaces of total internal reflection are in contact on both sides with microchannel cooling blocks which are cooled by water circulation. The power oscillator based on the gain module generates more than 400 W at 1-kW pumping with a slope efficiency of 55%. The small-signal gain of the gain module is 10 in a single zig-zag pass, and the amplified beam shows a near diffraction-limited beam quality.
