  • 본 논문은 CAD/CAM Software의 Script 기능을 이용하여 정밀한 자유곡선을 정확하고, 빠르게 생성할 수 있도록 하기 위한 기법을 연구 결과로서, 적용대상은 Equiangular Scroll Curve 생성을 대상으로 하였다. 관련 식을 검토하기 위하여 Excel Software을 이용하여 검증하였고, Visual Basic Language를 이용하여 보다 편리하게 Scroll Curve를 생성하는 기법을 연구하였다. 그 결과 여섯가지 변수를 설정하여 각각의 Scroll Curve를 생성하여 그 결과를 CAD 화면에 Drawing하여 도면을 생성, 편집할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 타 Software와 호환이 가능하도록 하여 다양한 Software에서 사용이 가능하도록 할 수 있게 하였다.

  • In this paper, we developed an editor and running engine for the SoftPLC. LD is the most popular standard IEC 1131-3 PLC language in Korea and used over 90% among the 5 PLC languages. In this paper, we have developed the ISPLC(Intelligent Agent System based Software Programmable Logic Controller). In ISPLC system, LD programmed by a user is converted to IL, which is one of intermediate codes, and IL is converted to the standard C code which can be used in a commercial editor such as visual C++. In ISPLC, the detection of logical error in high level programming(C) is more efficient than PLC programming itself. ISPLC provide easy programming platform to such beginner as well as professionals. The study of code conversion of LD-> U->C is firstly tried in the world as well as KOREA.

  • The modern power system including lots of measuring devices and controller is large and complex total information system. A Lot of data and system information are transmitted to operators, and analysing these information and system management is very important. Recently, GUI(Graphic Users Interface) is emphasized as a method that operators carry out their duties, effectively. In this paper. a simulator that can show state estimation and detection of bad measuring devices is introduced for domestic 154kV/22.9kV distribution substations. C language and Visual Basic is used for this simulator. and TCP/IP is adopted to consider connection with a Power system.

Development of an Integrated Multizone Model for Indoor Air Environment Prediction (실내공기환경 예측을 위한 통합 다구획 모델의 개발)

  • Interior space in most buildings is divided into several zones. The most important factors relating to the indoor air environment are temperature, airflow, humidity, and contaminant concentration. An integrated multizone model to predict these environmental factors simultaneously was developed. Also, a computer program for this model was written by the language of VISUAL BASIC. The proposed model was applied to a apartment with five rooms that had been tested by Chung. Comparison of predicted results by this study with measured results by Chung showed that their variations were within 14% for airflow rates, 1% for temperatures, 12% for humidities, and 5% for concentrations. It was seen that the opening operation schedule of building has a significant effect on the air moisture md contaminant removal. Thus, this model may be available for predicting the indoor air environment and may be contributed to design the ventilation plan for controling of indoor air quality.

  • This paper describes prototype Virtual Reality Ship Simulator (VRSS) that we have recently developed next-generation training equipment based on the virtual reality (VR) technology. The inherent defects of conventional ship simulators are enormous costs and difficult system upgrade due to the system construction, such as large mock-up bridge system, wide visual presentations, In this paper, to cope with those problems, we explored VR technology that can give realistic environments in a virtual world. Then we constructed prototype VRSS system, which is, consists of PC-based human sensors, and Databases set having 3D object models and coefficients of Head Related Transfer Functions (HRTFs). 3D-WEBMASTER authoring tool was used as Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML). Using the VRSS system, we constructed Port an Passage Simulator for the harbor of INCHON in Korea, and Ship and Sea State Simulator for an arbitrary given sea environmental states by user. Through many simulation tests, we testified the efficiency of developed prototype VRSS by subject assessment with five participants. Then, we present results on the simulation experiments and conclude with discussion of evaluation results.

  • This paper describes a converting algorithm between programmable languages of a software PLU. It is based on IEC 61131-3 standard and PC. The proposed control logic is designed by the software model and common element with data type, variables, POUs(program organization unit) and execution control unit commonly used within programmable languages of IEC 61131-3 Standard. The generation method of object file is proposed on five programmable language based on IEC 61131-3. It is represented as fo11ows; 1) the generation method using conversion algorithm from LD to IL with FBD(function block diagram), 2) the generation method using f code generation algorithm from SFC using the SFC execution sequence with FBD and ST(structured text). The proposed control logic generator was implemented by Visual C++ 6.0 and MFC on MS-windows NT 4.0.

  • This paper presents an PID type fuzzy based method for nohnear engine idle controller The output is a duty cycle(DC) for driving a idle speed cont개l valve(1SCV). For precise control of SI engine, the CPS sensor and coolant temperature are used. Visual C* language is used to make simulation panel for the fast and precise idle speed control. The dSPACE board and supported Control desk program is used in experiment ta the same purpose as simulation. The experimental results have a good agreement with simulation ones.

  • This paper presents the design and implementaion of an object-relational geographic information system. This system has been developed on top of a commercial object-relational database management system. It provides flexible spatial data model, spatial query language, visual user interface, and efficient spatial access methods(D0T) in which traditional primary-key access methods can be applied. We report on our design choices and describe the current status of Implementation. The conceptual model of the system is based on SDTS, and is mapped to the intemal obiect-oriented data model.   • This paper deals with the architecture of an information processing model for the human concept understanding required in constructing intelligent man-machine interfaces. The architecture employed is a parallel processing by networking. For this purpose, personal computers are interconnected by LAN and are, in their roles, divided into three levels. A concept has two aspects; i.e., language and image. In the present model, the system as the holistic whole of personal computers together with peripheral devices processes visual information in cognitive level, searching for feasible solutions from a variety of aspects. An image inputted through peripheral systems is categorized and matched with those ever experienced with the aid of that categorization, and thus an image is identified.

  • A computer program, named NEO-PCBRG, for the analysis and design of prestressed con-crete(PSC) bridges was developed using the finite element method. NEO-PCBRG can predict the response of PSC bridges throughout the various stages of construction and service. NEO-PCBRG has both pre- and post-processing capabilities. Pre-processing refers to all the neces- sary steps required to prepare a virtual prototype, more commonly termed a varied model for analysis. Post-processing here stands for the step in which the results from the analysis are reviewed and interpreted. In order to allow for the easy and convenient execution of the entire procedure, NEO-PCBRG was developed using computer graphics in the Visual Basic pro- gramming language. In conclusion, this study presents a new software architecture for analy-sis using the user-oriented design technique.
