Integrated Control System Design of SCARA Robot Based on Off-Line Programming (오프라인 프로그래밍을 이용한 스카라 로봇의 통합제어 시스템 설계)

  • We developed a Off-Line Graphic Simulator which can simulate a robot model in 3D graphics space in Windows 95 version. 4 ares SCARA robot was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D graphics.

  • Facial expression and gesture of the actors can be magnified or understated depending on the size of the camera framing. The direction, quality, and quantity of the lighting can also make the actors look different. That's why we have to deliberate how to photograph the actors who will be projected on the screen. This thesis shows the way of improving performance and emphasizing each character with camera and lighting. You will also find out how visual elements influence the actors and their performances.

  • Generally, bridge designers must consider variable factors in design of bridge-structures. For this reason, it was difficult to make a design program till now. However, the rapid development of computers turns it into a possible one with considering complex factors and the advance of computer's language make us design programming. When we use the automatic design program including structural analysis(FEM), we can save the time and effort. Additionally, the automatic design program was generated to reduce the man' errors. Therefore, in this paper, the automatic design program of the Prestressed Concrete Slab Bridge was developed. This design program will support bridge designers with time that they can spend on a creative and efficient duty for development of design.

  • The Web-based simulation was introduced for conducting simulation experiments in the Internet and the Web. Due to the use of the Java language, the Web-based simulation can have such characteristics as reusability, portability, and the capability of execution on the Web. Most of existing Web-based simulation tools have focused mainly on the development of the runtime simulation libraries and mechanisms on the Web. Thus, the model development work in such Web-based simulation tools still requires hand-written coding of model developers. This paper presents a visual model development environment for the Web-based simulation. The proposed environment provides a framework for model development and animation. To show the effectiveness of the proposed environment, we perform simulation experiments for transaction routing algorithms in a distributed transaction processing system.

  • Isotype should be carried out together with the function of explaining procedures, processes, usages, etc. accurately. Because it is a semitic semantic-information-intensive object as an representative example of non-verbal communication, it must meet formative conditions for conveying the various meanings of symbolic contents retained in it suggestively. In this way isotype is a common language with visuality, attention and universality, expressing definite contents in specific images. That is, it is necessary to establish a visual perceptive standard, design guidelines and required conditions and to implement systematically by stipulating rules for management. Thus isotype used in FRT, which is designed for easy perception of concepts, procedures, methods, structures, etc., can contain all factors used in the expression of information.

  • This study explored the effectiveness of a hierarchical treatment of aphasic perseveration (TAP) program in a Korean client with transcortical sensory aphasia. The subject with 52% perserveration score (Korean version of Boston Naming Test : K-BNT) was 44 year-old female with MCA (Middle cerebral artery) infarction. The experimental design used was an alternating treatment design with the hierarchical TAP and conventional audio-visual stimulation. The frequency of occurrence of perseverative behaviors and correct response in naming performance were analyzed and compared. It was claimed that the hierarchical TAP was more effective in naming performance than conventional audio-visual stimulation in terms of correct naming response. The frequency of occurrence of perseverative behaviors was lower in hierarchical TAP but the difference was relatively small. Unlike in English, sentence completion task was no longer stimulable while unison speech was very stimulable among the specific strategies of TAP program in Korean. Therefore, it could be said that TAP is language-dependent.
