A Study on the Development of Basic Pants Pattern for Men Using Virtual Fitting Program - Focused on the Menswear Textbook - (Virtual Fitting Program을 활용한 남성복 기본 팬츠 패턴개발 연구 - 남성복 교재를 중심으로 -)

  • The study is designed to develop a educational basic pants patterns for men, and has been analyzed focusing on the university textbooks published since 2000. We also used CAD programs and virtual fitting programs to analyze the fitness of pants. To do this purpose, after choosing 7 Men's Wear textbooks, selected patterns were drawn and measured using PAD system and were compared and analyzed. Also, the appearance evaluation was examined through virtual fitting and then evaluated 21 male and female university students in their 20s. After supplementing the problems of the patterns in the existing textbooks, a pattern was developed and verified the fitness of the developed pattern. The results of comparing the proposed measurement items of each textbook for the pants pattern indicated a significant differences in terms of hip circumference of each pattern, which were between 96~105cm. A comparison of the drafting methods of each pattern showed the drafting methods for the crotch length, the front crotch extension, the back crotch extension were the difference. The results of appearance evaluation were pattern E presented the slimmest fit and pattern D presented the loosest fit. As a result of analysis of pants pattern, a waist circumference 82cm, a hip circumference 98cm, a crotch length 24cm, a pants length 104cm and a ham line width 46cm were most suitable. The development pattern was evaluated as superior to the existing pattern through the appearance evaluation of the virtual fitting.

  • The aim on this thesis is to develop virtual construction designing experience web-site in order to help non-professional to predict the actual construction working result by self-construction design, provided by virtual reality program, sharing knowledge of architectural design and materials on internet to solve certain problems. The way of study is using case of virtual reality technology which is practically using in architecture era recently; in construction design, deducting realizable virtual reality technology of limitation and its solution; analyze case of construction designing program which is currently used by professionals; constitute required essential functions as UI(User Interface) when constructing. Followed by result of study, as a proposal, in service, technical, and UI sectors are the way to construct its objectives for internet based virtual construction experience web-site.

Effect of Learner-Centered Virtual Reality Simulation Education (학습자 중심의 가상현실 시뮬레이션 교육 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of virtual reality simulation education and intend to present basic data that enables virtual reality simulation education to be used as practical education. Data were collected from April 26 to June 4, 2021 and analyzed by paired t-test, Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, Spearman's correlation coefficient using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program. The results of this study showed that critical thinking disposition, clinical competency, practice satisfaction was improved after virtual reality simulation education. And there were a positive correlation with each other. Virtual reality simulation education is considered a very effective teaching method for nursing students. It is necessary to develop and apply more diverse and systematic scenarios and practice programs in future research.

The Effect of Virtual Reality-based Physical Activity Therapy Program on Physical Fitness Factors in Adult - Systematic Reviews - (가상현실 기반 신체활동 치유 프로그램이 성인의 체력요인에 미치는 효과 - 체계적 고찰 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to review the effect of previous research data with virtual reality-based Physical Activity Therapy Programs(PATPs) in adult on the physical fitness factors. Research articles were retrieved from 2008 to 2021 with the Research Information Sharing Service(RISS) and Pubmed database. The main search terms were 'care', 'therapy', 'healing', 'exercise' or 'physical activity', and 'virtual reality'. The criteria for selecting articles of this study were the originality, duplication, Randomized controlled trial(RCT) experiment and subject. Finally, 18 papers were selected among 318 articles, which were excluded if any of the criteria was not satisfied. Most of papers(15) were conducted in the last 5 years, because of the high interest due to the development of virtual reality implementation technology and COVID-19 pandemic. The participants were mainly patients(8), and the types of diseases were stroke(2). The physical fitness factors were mostly balance ability(7), muscle strength(7), and range of motion(6). All the physical fitness factors were significantly improved after PATPs. However, 11 studies were conducted for less than 4 weeks, including 6 studies were performed a bout of acute exercise. Also, 14 studies did not clearly present the intensity of PATPs. In addition, there were 9 studies, that simply applied games without specialized programs. In conclusion, it seems that virtual reality-based PATPs have a positive effect on physical fitness factors. However, VR-based PATPs should be specialized and developed in order to verify their effectiveness for the further research.

Development of Convergence Education Program Based on 3D Panorama Virtual Fieldwork Courses on Water Spider in Eundaeri (은대리 물거미 서식지의 3D 파노라마 가상야외학습장 융합교육 프로그램 개발)

  • This study used Natural Monument water spiders and their habitats as educational contents, so those students could have a scientific literacy and the beautiful memories of Eundaeri's marshes through developing a virtual fieldwork courses (VFC) and observing the ecology of water spiders. In order to develop the program, the 2015 revised national curriculum and its textbooks were analyzed. In accordance with the STEAM model, we developed teaching-learning materials for 7 classes. Students produced 3D panorama virtual fieldwork courses (PVFC) about water spider by team-based cooperative learning, enabling them to emotionally experience the meaning and value of water spiders. A panel of six education experts verified the validity of the program and found it to be fairly valid at 4.24 (CVI = .88) on the 5-point Likert scale. In order to confirm the suitability of the program, students in the middle school science clubs participated in pilot testing camp. Their average classes satisfaction was 4.24 and students were very satisfied with the usefulness of the program, the fresh learning contents, and the suitability of the convergence education class. This study could contribute to convergence education related to ecology and virtual reality for adolescents.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify effects of virtual reality based intervention program on communication skills in cafe and class attitudes of students with intellectual disabilities. To do this, 30 students with intellectual disabilities were participated in this study and placed an experimental group and a control group. An experimental group took part in the virtual reality based intervention program on communication skills in cafe and a control group joined in the traditional intervention program at summer vacation from July, 22 to August, 24. Intervention programs of an experimental group and an control group were conducted 5 times in a week for 4 weeks and a class time of each class was 50 minutes. Evaluations of two groups were carried out in pre-test and post-test and data of evaluation was analyzed by independent t-test. In Results of study, communication skills of experimental group were improved higher than control group's. Also, class attitudes of experimental group were changed more positive than control group's on job training class. We knew that virtual reality based intervention program was effectively utilized in transitional education for students with intellectual disabilities.

  • In the work of contemporary spatialization, the meaning of program is being an important conceptual element beyond simple functional dimension. The design of this diagram allows to balance among changing programs, and it comes into the spotlight as a medium, which links the virtual to the reality as embodying the virtual, which is not embodied realistically, realistically through the design process. In other words, this method is attracting the public attention as a design tool which can concentrate on design process rather than a fixed tool. This study focuses on the role of balancing among mixed programs and the diagram as a design tool. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and research the work of spatialization, which apply to diagrams of contemporary designers, is to identify operating mechanism and then is to examine the characteristics and importance of them.

A Study on the 3-D Digital Modelling of the Sea Bottom Topography (3차원 해저지형 수치모델에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, 3-dimensional virtual visualization was performed for a rapid and accurate analysis of sea bottom topography. The visualization was done through the extracted data using the developed program and the generated data using the gridding method. The data extraction program was developed with AutoLISP programming language and this program was able to extract the needed sample bathymetry data from the electronic sea chart systematically as well as effectively The gridded bathymetry data were generated by the interpolation or extrapolation method from the spatially-irregular sample data. As the result of realization for the 3-dimensional virtual visualization, it was shown a proper feasibility in the analysis of the sea bottom topography to determine the route of submarine cable burial.

  • Virtual Reality (VR) has high potential to provide learners with rich learning experience based on a sense of presence and various interactions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of career education programs for the future society using VR. To this end, 29 third grade students were given an eight-session education program, and changes in their perception of career and their overall opinion on the program were examined. The results are as follows: First, the VR-based career experience program for the future society had a positive effect on changes in the students' self-understanding and their attitude and perception of career. Second, the study subjects showed high interest in and satisfaction with the VR-based career education program. The results of this study suggested the need for the extensive use of VR in career education, the development of content considering achievement criteria and learners' characteristics, and the establishment of VR learning environments.
