본 연구는 네트워크 이론 관점을 통해 50개 글로벌 해운선사의 항만 선택 결정요인을 규명하기 위해 중국과 한국의 주요 항만을 대상으로 분석했다. Conditional Logit Model을 통한 분석 결과, 글로벌 해운선사는 항만 선택에 있어 역내보다는 글로벌 차원에서의 네트워크를 상대적으로 더 중요하게 고려함을 규명할 수 있었다. 글로벌 해운선사는 항만의 역내 네트워크 중심성이 클수록, 그리고 글로벌 네트워크 연계성과 중심성이 높을수록 해당 항만을 선택하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 한국 항만과 중국 항만을 별도로 분석한 경우, 본 연구에서 사용한 변수의 유의도와 계수의 크기로 볼 때, 글로벌 선사들은 한국의 항만 보다는 중국 항만을 더 중요하게 생각하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 설문조사가 아닌 2차 자료를 활용하고, AHP 기법이 아닌 CLM 모형을 통해 항만 선택에 관한 연구를 최초로 시도했다는 점에서 연구의 의미를 가질 수 있다. 그러나 설문이 아닌 2차 자료를 통한 분석이기 때문에, 글로벌 선사의 항만선택에 정의 또는 부의 영향을 미칠 수 있는 규명 가능한 변수들을 충분히 포함시키지 못하고 있다는 한계를 안고 있다.

인터넷을 통한 데이터 전송 기술의 발전은 다양한 실감 콘텐츠를 확산시키는 역할을 하고 있고, 이러한 실감 콘텐츠의 하나로 다시점 비디오가 연구되고 있다. 다시점 비디오는 여러 대의 카메라로부터 획득한 영상을 사용자에게 전달해 원하는 시점에서 영상을 시청할 수 있도록 하는 차세대 영상이다. 다시점 영상을 공급하기 위해서는 일반적으로 카메라 개수와 같은 개수의 엔코더와 디코더가 필요하며, 또한 상대적으로 큰 전송 대역폭을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 상기 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 단일 엔코더와 디코더만을 이용하는 다시점 비디오 시스템을 제안한다. 부호화에서는 다시점 YUV 비디오를 GOP 단위로 믹싱하여 l 개의 YUV 스트립을 만든 후에, 단일 H.264/ AVC 엔코더로 부호화하여 압축 비트열을 생성한다. 또한 복호화도 단일 디코더 및 이를 제어하는 스케줄러로 구성된다. 스케줄러는 디코더 이용률과 프레임 스킵을 활용하여 각 시점 영상들이 동등한 복호화 프레임 개수를 가지게 한다. 또한 프레임 스킵에서는 비용 함수를 이용하여 H.264/AVC 프로화일에 따른 효율적인 프레임 선택 방법을 제안한다. 다양한 메인 및 베이스라인 프로화일 다시점 영상들을 활용하여 제안 방법의 성능을 검증하였다. 실험 결과는 각 시점 영상이 동등한 디코더 이용률을 얻는 것을 보여준다. 또한 rate-distortion 커브를 이용하여 제안한 방식과 동시 방식의 성능을 검증하였다.

In this study, author suggests menu selection according to disease and standard cooking methods for hospital patients. Nutritional state of patients must be considered to select menu. Especially age, sex, and disease symptoms are important factors to determine the nutritional requirement. Special diet should be delivered to cure the patients with different appetite, digesting ability and symptoms. Menu must be planed including various food although nutritional restrictions should be considered, In this point of view, effective cooking methods and considerations of various Korean traditional food as hospital food are suggested. Recipe of traditional Korean beverage and cookies are also presented.

Support vector machine(SVM) is a new and very promising regression and classification technique developed by Vapnik and his group at AT&T Bell laboratories. This article provides a brief overview of SVM focusing on linear regression. We explain from statistical point of view why SVM might be attractive and how this could be compared with other linear regression techniques. Furthermore. we explain model selection based on VC-theory.

To service with high quality electricity to customer, the utilities consider the DAS (Distribution Automation System) as a good means of it. The backbone of the DAS are communication and computer technique. Most of all, from the economical and functional point of view, the selection of transmission media for system communication is the key factor to achieve a successful DAS. In this paper author propose the method of the DAS communication which share its channel with CATV transmission line and analyze the effect.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the durability design method of reinforced concrete structure in order to establish a rationally combined design system of structural and durability design, that is to say performance-based design. In literature study, the integrated design of concrete structure studied JCI committe is very intensive durability design method for reinforced concrete structure. Specially, B root durability design method for selection of verification level is very effective method in the view of modeling of materials and structural properties to analyze safety and serviceability of RC structures.

Design and manufacturing (or production) must be closely interrelated. They should never be viewed as separate disciplines or activities. Each part or component of a product must be designed so that it not only meets design requirements and specifications, but also can be manufactured and assembled economically, ecologically and with relative ease. This approach improves productivity and allows a manufacturer to remain competitive. This broad view has become recognized as the area of design for manufacture and assembly(DFMA). Here the principles of the DFMA and their some examples are reviewed.

히스토그램은 주어진 데이타가 해당하는 분포의 밀도함수를 그리는데 널리 이용되는 기본적인 방법이다. 히스토그램은 어떠한 분포에도 이용이 가능하며, 그 작성이 간단하지만 구간의 선택과 그 넓이의 선정에 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 적정 계급구간의 수를 설정하기 위한 문제를 일종의 통계적 모형선택 문제로 간주하여, 최근 모형선택의 평가기준으로 널리 이용되고 있는 AIC에 바탕을 두고 적정 계급구간의 결정과정에 대해 분석하였다.

The Maglav system project affects communities and are usually funded by public agencies. Evaluation of this project that considerably impact whole communities requires public involvement. This specific requirement of transportation projects determines the method of their evaluation as the impacts are estimated from the transportation economic point of view. Especially evaluation criteria must reflect the needs of the interested parties and should consider all foreseeable benefits and losses caused by the Maglav project. To select evaluation criteria and evaluation method may help a decision--maker in making a best selection for a Maglav project.
