  • 본 연구에서는 국내에서 실시하고 있는 바리스타 민간자격제도의 운영체제와 방법이 커피직무능력의 학업만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 직무능력 향상, 입직이나 전직에 활용하려는 경제적 효용도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 자격증을 취득하였고 관련 업체에 종사하고 있는 자를 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 커피자격검정제도의 운영체제 및 방법이 직무수행능력의 학업만족도와 경제적 효율성에 부분적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있었고, 커피자격검정을 통해서 얻어지는 직무수행능력의 학업만족도도 직업의 경제적 효율성에도 부분적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있었다. 즉, 커피관련 자격검정제도의 내용 및 전문적이고 신뢰할 만한 체계적인 관리와 운영은 직무수행능력의 학업만족도에 영향을 주고 있었고, 나아가 입직이나 전직 등의 경제적 효율에도 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 자격검정제도의 전문성과 공정성에 대한 연구는 지속되어야 할 것이다.

On Effective Speaker Verification Based on Subword Model

  • This paper concerns an effective text-dependent speaker verification method to increase the performance of speaker verification. While various speaker verification methods have already been developed, their effectiveness has not yet been formally proven in terms of achieving acceptable performance levels. This paper proposes a weighted likelihood procedure along with a confidence measure based on subword-based text-dependent speaker verification. Our aim is to remedy the low performance problem in speaker verification by exploring a means to strengthen the verification likelihood via subword-based hypothesis criteria and weighted likelihood method. Experimental results show that the proposed speaker verification method outperforms that of the speaker verification scheme without using the proposed decision by a factor of up to 1.6 times. From these results, the proposed speaker verification method is shown to be very effective and to achieve a reliable performance.

  • This paper concerns an effective text-prompted speaker verification method to increase the performance of speaker verification. While various speaker verification methods have already been developed, their effectiveness has not yet been formally proven in terms of achieving an acceptable performance level. It is also noted that the traditional methods were focused primarily on single, prompted utterance for verification. This paper, instead, proposes sequential decision method using variable threshold focused at handling two utterances for text-prompted speaker verification. Experimental results show that the proposed speaker verification method outperforms that of the speaker verification scheme without using the sequential decision by a factor of up to 3 times. From these results, we show that the proposed method is highly effective and achieves a reliable performance suitable for practical applications.

웹기반 협업을 위한 치수검증이 가능한 경량캐드파일 설계 (Design of Lightweight CAD Files with Dimensional Verification Capability for Web-Based Collaboration)

  • The demand for the use of 3D CAD data over the Internet environment has been increased. However, transmission of 3D CAD data has delayed the communication effectiveness because of the CAD data size. Lightweight CAD file design methodology is required for rapid transmission in the distributed environment. In this paper, to derive lightweight CAD files from commercial CAD systems, a file translation system producing a native file is constructed first by using the InterOp and API of the ACIS kernel. Using the B-rep model and mesh data extracted from the native file, the lightweight CAD file with topological information is constructed as a binary file. Since the lightweight CAD file retains topological information, it is applied to the dimensional verification, digital mock-ups and visualization of CAD files. Effectiveness of the proposed lightweight CAD file is confirmed through various case studies.

Training Method and Speaker Verification Measures for Recurrent Neural Network based Speaker Verification System

  • This paper presents a training method for neural networks and the employment of MSE (mean scare error) values as the basis of a decision regarding the identity claim of a speaker in a recurrent neural networks based speaker verification system. Recurrent neural networks (RNNs) are employed to capture temporally dynamic characteristics of speech signal. In the process of supervised learning for RNNs, target outputs are automatically generated and the generated target outputs are made to represent the temporal variation of input speech sounds. To increase the capability of discriminating between the true speaker and an impostor, a discriminative training method for RNNs is presented. This paper shows the use and the effectiveness of the MSE value, which is obtained from the Euclidean distance between the target outputs and the outputs of networks for test speech sounds of a speaker, as the basis of speaker verification. In terms of equal error rates, results of experiments, which have been performed using the Korean speech database, show that the proposed speaker verification system exhibits better performance than a conventional hidden Markov model based speaker verification system.

  • In this paper, a new heuristic algorithm for designing combinational circuits suitable for verification testing is presented. The design method consists of argument reduction, input partitioning, output partitioning, and logic minimization. A new heuristic algorithm for input partitioning and output partitioning is developed and applied to designing combinational circuits to demonstrate its effectiveness.

  • This paper proposed a method to detect and locate coding errors in HDL behavioral descriptions (designs). The target coding errors are the ones that the compiler cannot find out. As the method, this paper used verification pattern generation method. Thus, an algorithm to generate the verification patterns was proposed, in which the pattern generation is performed by a path- searching method. Various example designs were applied to this algorithm to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • The visual inspection of electronic parts consists of two steps: automatic visual inspection and verification inspection. In the stage of a verification inspection, the human inspector sequentially inspects all the areas which detected in the automatic inspection. In this study, we propose an algorithm to determine the order of verification inspection by Bayes inference well known in the field of machine learning. This is a method of prioritizing a region estimated to have a high probability of defect using experience data of past inspection. This algorithm was applied to the visual inspection of ultraviolet filters to verify its effectiveness. As a result of the comparison experiment, it was confirmed that the verification inspection can be completed 30% of the conventional method by adapting proposed algorithm.

  • 최근 국내에서 항공 관련 안전필수시스템들이 개발되었지만 이들 완성품들은 규정된 요구사항들을 충족시키지 못하여 실용화 또는 상용화 되지 못하였다. 현대 항공 기술의 복잡도가 높아짐에 따라 기존의 검증 및 확인 기술로는 시스템에 잠재된 리스크를 식별하고 줄이는데 어려움이 많다. 이러한 단점들을 극복하기 위해 선진국에서는 독립적 검증 및 확인이라는 새로운 기법에 관심이 모아지고 있다. 이 독립적 검증 및 확인의 효과도에 관한 학술적 연구는 국내에는 전무하고, 국외에서 조차도 매우 희소하게 수행되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 항공선진기관에서 수행한 항공 안전필수시스템에 대한 독립적 검증 및 확인의 응용 연구들을 조사하여 사업에 미치는 여러 가지 효과들을 분석해 본 결과, IV&V는 조기 오류 검출율을 높이고, 내재된 리스크도 조기에 완화하며, 개발 수명주기 후반에 나타나는 재작업 확률을 줄여서 개발 일정 및 비용의 증가를 획기적으로 막아주는 것으로 나타났다.
