충돌시 3차원 거동특성 해석을 위한 모델링 (Three-Dimensional Modeling for Impact Behavior Analysis)

  • In vehicle accidents, the rolling, pitching, and yawing which are produced by collisions affect the motions of vehicle. Therefore, vehicle behavior under impact situation should be analyzed in three-dimension. In this study, three-dimensional vehicle dynamic equations based on impulse-momentum conservation principles under vehicle impact are introduced for simulation. This analysis has been performed by the real vehicle impact data from JARI and RICSAC. This study suggested each system modeling such as suspension, steering, brake and tire as well as the appropriate vehicle behavior simulation model with respect to pre and post impact.

도시철도차량의 가변편성을 고려한 고무완충기의 임계속도 평가 (An Evaluation of Critical Speed for Draft Gear using Variable Formation EMU)

  • In this study, we tried to derive the most severe scenario and its critical speed by 1-D collision simulation with a variable formation vehicle in order to prepare for the change of demand in Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 3, which is operated by fixed arrangement. After establishing various collision scenario conditions, the friction coefficient between the wheel and the rail was evaluated as 0.3, which is considered to be severe. As a result of analysis according to all scenarios, the most severe scenario conditions were confirmed by comparing rubber shock absorber performance and vehicle collision deceleration. In addition, a typical wheel-rail friction coefficient was derived through accident cases, and the analysis was performed again and compared. Finally, the criterion of the critical speed in the condition of the friction coefficient of the normal wheel - rail condition was confirmed.

C-ITS 차량 추돌방지 지원 시스템의 통신 부하를 고려한 도로네트워크 영향 분석 (Analysis of the effect on Road Network with Communication Failure Rate of C-ITS Information System for Rear-end Collision Avoidance)

  • C-ITS 단위 서비스 중 차량 추돌방지 지원 서비스는 위험상황 교통안전을 지원하나, 교통량이 많아 주변에 V2V 통신대상 차량이 많은 경우 V2V 통신부하로 인한 통신 지연 및 실패 가능성이 존재하여 서비스 효용성이 변화할 수 있다. 본 연구는 교통량이 증가하여 혼잡한 도로에서 V2V 통신 과다로 인한 차량 추돌방지 지원 서비스가 실패에 따른 도로 네트워크 영향을 모의실험으로 분석한 정량적 결과를 제시한다. 교통량 조건을 낮은 수준(서비스 수준 A) 높은 수준(서비스 수준 E)까지 변화하며, V2V 통신 실패율을 0%에서 100%까지 극단적인 상황을 포함하여 10% 씩 증가시키면서 차량 추돌방지 지원 서비스 효용성을 잠재상충 발생 건수를 지표로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 차량 1대당 잠재상충 발생 건수가 낮은 교통량 상황 대비 높은 교통량 상황에서 30% 수준 증가하는 것으로 확인되었다. 교통량이 충분히 증가하는 경우 통신 실패율 10% 증가에 따라 잠재상충 발생 건수가 14%씩 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. C-ITS 단위 서비스 구현을 위한 기존 장비중심의 연구와 더불어 서비스의 효용성을 높일 수 있는 도로교통 운영분야 연구가 병행될 필요가 있음을 제언한다.

  • 최근 자동차 교통량의 증가로 인해 차량 추돌사고가 급증하여 이에 따른 승객의 목상해가 증가해왔으며, 이를 방지하기 위한 자동차 시트의 설계적인 주안점을 고려하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 기술을 확대 이용한 자동차충돌 해석연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다 본 연구에서는 인체모형 BioRID II 더미를 이용한 차량승객거동해석을 위한 MADYMO 프로그램을 사용하여 차량속도 16 km/h 운전조건의 후방추돌시 시트의 착좌자세인 백세트의 변화에 따른 승객의 목상해를 예측하였다. 그 결과로, 백세트가 짧을수록 접촉시작시간은 단축되지만 접촉완료시간은 거의 동일함을 알 수 있었고, T1 가속도는 백세트가 넓을수록 가속도는 증가함을 나타냈다. 또한 백세트가 넓을수록 인장력은 증가하고, 머리가 머리지대에 닿는 순간의 속도가 빨라짐으로써 목상해지수(NIC)는 증가함을 보였다.

무인운전차량의 자율주행을 위한 경로점 기반 경로계획 (Path Planning for Autonomous Navigation of a Driverless Ground Vehicle Based on Waypoints)

  • This paper addresses an algorithm of path planning for autonomous driving of a ground vehicle in waypoint navigation. The proposed algorithm is flexible in utilization under a large GPS positioning error and generates collision-free multiple paths while pursuing minimum traveling time. An optimal path reduces inefficient steering by minimizing lateral changes in generated waypoints along a path. Simulation results compare the proposed algorithm with the A* algorithm by manipulation of the steering wheel and traveling time, and show that the proposed algorithm realizes real-time obstacle avoidance by quick processing of path generation, and minimum time traveling by producing paths with small lateral changes while overcoming the very irregular positioning error from the GPS.

충돌에 대한 흡수 성능을 가진 크래쉬 박스의 형상설계 (Shape Design of Crash Box with Absorption Performance against Impact)

  • Crash box is introduced to vehicle design to improve the impact performance and reduce the damage of vehicle body at impact speed. The crash box behind bumper can absorb impact energy effectively to improve vehicle safety. Repair cost at collision accident can be cut down by use of this box. The configuration of car body must be designed by considering the characteristic of material due to the deformation of car body happened at impact. Many papers have been published about material of crash box all over the world. The study of crash box with tube expansion type has been going on Korea. This study is done by the simulation analysis about front collisions against 5 kinds of aluminum crash boxes with the basic structure of square section.

V2X 정보를 활용한 VRU 충돌 회피 알고리즘 개발 (Design of Algorithm for Collision Avoidance with VRU Using V2X Information)

  • 자율주행 차량은 레이더, 라이다 카메라 등 다양한 로컬 센서들을 활용하여 주변 환경을 인지하고 판단하여 주행한다. 하지만 로컬 센서만을 활용하여 주행할 경우 인지 범위 한계로 장애물에 가려진 보행자나 자전거와 같은 VRU(Vulnerable Road User, 취약 도로 사용자)의 거동 정보를 예측하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 로컬 센서의 한계를 극복하기 위해 V2X 통신 정보를 활용한 VRU 충돌 회피 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 알고리즘은 인프라로부터 충돌 위험이 있는 VRU의 정보를 전달 받아 미래 거동을 예측하고 주변 환경에 따라 적절하게 조향 및 제동 회피를 수행하도록 설계하였다. 개발된 알고리즘을 검증하기 위하여 다양한 조건의 시나리오에서 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 그 결과, 기존 로컬 센서 정보만을 활용하였을 때보다 개선된 충돌 회피 성능을 보일 뿐만 아니라, 차량의 안정성 또한 확보할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • This paper concerns the development of distributed interactive simulation of a road traffic system. The simulation involved models of multiple and distributed road vehicles running on different locations. The simulation system represented a traffic system as if the distributed simulation models were in the same environment. The development of the distributed road traffic simulation was based on High Level Architecture (HLA), a state-of-the-art IEEE standard for the distributed and real-time simulation. Other work concerned modeling and simulating the road vehicles and building the map database for the virtual distributed shared environment. The information used in the simulation system was only in X-axis and Y-axis as the insignificant data in the Z-axis was omitted to simplify the simulation. However, the traffic system has visualized a 3-D coordinate system. The road vehicle models were able to avoid collision. The next direction of a vehicle can be chosen from the provided choices of further paths.

  • This paper shows about the machine simulation embodiment when it happens NC equipment and between workpiece and interference in 5 axises machining of aluminium alloy a vehicles parts. And this research has been chosen because of the highest equipment interference occurrence rate at a vehicles parts processing of 5 axises horizontal machine. It can verify simulation and machining process through correlation of their dynamic relations, interference, collision as embodied virtual manufacturing system of machine, workpiece, and holder etc. That is necessary element in shape of machine tool, function and processing in imagination ball. Also, it verifies about interference and collision between NC equipment and workpiece, as it applied machine simulation to NC Data of actuality aircraft parts of BULKHEAD and FRAME. As the result of this study, by removing the equipment interference and collision element which creates NC data, the virtual machine tool it the efficiency of machine process has increased.

어린이용 자전거의 차량 충돌거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Collision Behavior of Fairy Cycle to Vehicle)

  • Recently the usage of bicycle has increased steeply in Korea owing to traffic culture of well- being. In a car to bicycle accident investigation, the throw distance of bicycle is very important factor for reconstructing of the accident. The variables that influence on the throw distance of bicycle can be classified into the factors of vehicle and bicycle. Simulations and collision tests in actual car to bicycle accident were executed for obtaining throw distance of bicycle. The simulations were done by PC-$CRASH^{TM}$ and for actual crash tests sand bags were used for the behavior of bicyclist instead of dummy. Factors considered were vehicle velocity and the moving angles of bicycle, also the types of bicycle and vehicle were fairy cycle and automobile, respectively. From the results, the throw distances of a head-on tire collision of $0^{\circ}$ direction was longer than that of tire crash test of $45^{\circ}$ direction, and the throw distances of a head -on frame crash test of $90^{\circ}$ direction was longer than that of frame crash test of $45^{\circ}$ direction. In addition restitution coefficient between vehicle and bicycle was estimated as about 0.1 with based on actual crash tests. Finally the increaser vehicle velocity the longer the throw distances of bicycle, and the results of simulation were relatively good agreement to the experimental results.
