  • In this study it was assumed that planning was composed of three activities -resource assessment standard setting information seeking and implementing was composed of money investment and time investment, Two variable groups which were assumed to be related with planning and implementing were household characteristics and housewife's value characteristics. Money investment to children's education was significantly affected by income, net wealth of household instrumental value of eduation and information seeking about private education. The variables assumed to affect time investment to children's education were instrumental value of education information seeking about private education and expected education level.

  • We consider the mean value function for NHPP software reliability model and time series regression model in software failure data. We estimate parameters for the proposed models from two data sets. The values of SSE and MSE is presented from two data sets. We compare the predicted number of faults with the actual two data sets using the mean value function and regression curve.

  • This paper presents the effects of rotor time constant variation and the on-line tuning algorithm of the rotor time constant. If the value of the rotor time constant is set incorrectly, the IFOC (Indirect Field Oriented Control)scheme exhibits deteriorated performance according to the wrong slip command. These variation effects of the rotor time constant are caused by the slip calculator where it is known that the rotor time constant play an important role in the aligned rotor flux. Using the two torque angles (stationary torque angle, rotating torque angle), the variation of the rotor time constant is identified, and the rotor time constant of the controller is tuned to the proper value of the machine. As the result, with the proposed algorithm, the dynamics of the deteriorated IFOC system, where the rotor time constant is varied, is improved. For the purpose of the validity of this proposed algorithm, the computer simulations and the experiments have been performed and the explanation of the results is presented. • The time paramters most frequently used in hydrology are the tuime of concentration, lag time , time base, time to equilibrium , time to peak, time of travel, and residence time. Especially the time of concentraion constitute an important part of operating rainfall-runoff modeling and determining critical rainfall intensity. In the result of simulation , we discoved that SCS foumula has the highest value with length, Kerby with height and SCS with slop respectively, while only Kraven formula has the lowest value in them. With concerning to relative sensitivty, the time of concentraion was marked the constant effect according to increase of length and slope level, and the length has much more effect than the slope relatively in parameters.

  • This paper derives a distribution function of the terminal value and running maximum of two-dimensional Brownian motion {X($\tau$) = (X$_1$($\tau$), X$_2$ ($\tau$))', $\tau$ 〉0}. One random variable of the joint distribution is the terminal time value, X$_1$ (T). The other random variable is the maximum of the Brownian motion {X$_2$($\tau$), $\tau$〉} between time s and time t. With this distribution function, this paper also derives an explicit pricing formula for an outside barrier option whose monitoring period starts at an arbitrary date and ends at another arbitrary date before maturity.

  • This paper investigated the dyeability and surface color of silk and cotton fabrics dyed with chustnut bur extract. Some experiments were performed under the various dyeing conditions such as dyeing temperature, dyeing time, repetition of dyeing, dyeing pH, mordanting condition, washing fastness and light fastness with silk and cotton fabrics. The results obtained were as follows 1. △E value was increased when dyeing temperature and time was higher, value of munsell was shifted from Yellow to Yellow-Red at hither dyeing temperature and time in silk and cotton fabrics. 2. Optimal dyeing pH was increased with acidity of dyeing solution in silk and cotton fabrics, and repetition of dyeing did not change the dye-uptake. 3. When mordanting time and temperature was higher, △E value was larger in silk and cotton fabrics. Silk and cotton fabrics with Fe-premordanting treatment had best dyeability, but treatment with Sn-mordanting was worst. 4. Washing fastness and light fastness was excellent in various dyeing condition at silk fabric but cotton was without practical use.

  • The influence of slow cooling and annealing time in $O_2$ during melting and growth step in MPMG process on J$_{c}$ was investigated. Through the measurement of J$_{c}$ SEM and XRD, it can be observed that the critical characteristics were related with the slow cooling time and annealing time in 02 for melting and growth step of MPMG process. The distribution of critical current density with slow cooling time was the porabolic form and the value of J. was the highest at the 40 hour slow cooling time. And also, the value of J$_{c}$, along the annealing time in $O_2$ in the case of the slow cooling time 40 hour was inclined to increase with annealing time. Consequently, it can be suggested that proper slow cooling titre and annealing time along slow cooling in MPMG process be important to improve the critical characteristics.stics.
