탄소섬유를 이용한 Polyethylene배관의 전기융착 기술 (Electrofusion Joining Technology for Polyethylene Pipes Using Carbon Fiber)

  • Fuel gas is an important energy source that is being increasingly used because of the convenience and clean energy provided. Natural gas is supplied to consumers safely through an underground gas-pipe network made of a polyethylene material. In electrofusion, which is one of the joining methods used, copper wire is used as the heating wire. However, it takes a long time for fusion to occur because the electrical resistance of copper is low. In this study, therefore, electrofusion was conducted by replacing the copper heating wire with carbon fiber to reduce the fusion time and improve the production when joining large pipes. Fusion and tensile tests were performed after the electrofusion joint was made in the polyethylene pipe using carbon fiber. The results showed that the fusion time was shorter and the temperature inside the pipe was higher with an increase in the current value. The ultimate tensile strength of specimens was higher than that of virgin polyethylene pipe, except for polyethylene pipes joined using a current of 0.8 A. The best fusion current value was 0.9 or 1.0 A because of the short fusion time and lack of transformation inside the pipe. Thus, it was shown that carbon fiber can be used to replace the copper heating wire.

  • 데이터마이닝에서 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나는 마이닝에 사용될 데이터의 질이다. 질 높은 데이터를 바탕으로 마이닝이 수행될 때, 데이터마이닝의 잠재적 가치는 증대될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 지식발견 과정 중 데이터의 질을 향상시키기 위한 한 단계인 데이터 보강을 위해 데이터 통합 기법을 제안하고, 모의실험을 통해 제안된 알고리즘의 효율성을 비교하였다. 실험결과 제안된 알고리즘이 데이터 통합의 성능을 향상시킴을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 융합산업으로 급부상되고 있는 산업을 중심으로 제도개선 및 융합R&D지원 측면에서 융합산업의 시장경쟁력을 강화시킬 수 있는 지원 방안들을 도출하고자 한다. 연구는 융합산업 이슈분석, 융합산업 경쟁력 강화 방향성 설정, 방향성 기반의 경쟁력 강화 방안 도출 순으로 진행되었다. 융합산업을 시기에 따라 도입, 확산, 발전 단계로 구분하였으며, 지원방안으로 전문가 참여형 융합R&D, 개방형 융합R&D, 맞춤형 융합R&D, 시장 진입 제도개선, 공공구매 지원방안을 제시하였다. 이는 융합신제품 및 서비스의 시장 진입 애로점을 해결하고 융합 역량강화 및 경쟁우위 확보하여 융합신시장 진입 유도, 시장 정착 안정화, 고부가가치를 창출하는데 그 목적이 있다.

  • The large scale magnets like thermalnuclear fusion devices are necessary for superconducting CICC cable, When the Cable In Conduit Conductors(CICC) is occurred by the external turbulence, the CICC occurs to quench, The CICC can be broken because the CICC spends all energy in the quench-happened spot. Therefore, it is necessary to develop measurement systems of the quench detection. The measurement systems of the relative good degree of efficiency are the voltage tap sensors. The weak points of voltage tap sensors are effected by EMF noise and inductance. The thermalnuclear fusion devices easily can't measure inductance value because of plasma current. In the experiment, The value of inductance was estimated by FEM techniques and the decrement of Inductance value measured as long as remaining plasma current.

  • The smart air condition system is superior to conventional air condition system in the aspect of control accuracy, environmental preservation and it is foundation for intelligent vehicle such as electric vehicle, fuel cell vehicle. In this paper, failure analyses of smart air condition system will be performed and then sensor fusion technique will be proposed for fail safety of smart air condition system. A sensor fusion logic of air condition system by using CO sensor, $CO_2$ sensor and VOC, $NO_x$ sensor will be developed and simulated by fault injection simulation. The fusion technology of smart air condition system is generated in an experiment and a performance analysis is conducted with fusion algorithms. The proposed algorithm adds the error characteristic of each sensor as a conditional probability value, and ensures greater accuracy by performing the track fusion with the sensors with the most reliable performance.

Feasibility study of improved median filtering in PET/MR fusion images with parallel imaging using generalized autocalibrating partially parallel acquisition

  • This study aimed to analyze the applicability of the improved median filter in positron emission tomography (PET)/magnetic resonance (MR) fusion images based on parallel imaging using generalized autocalibrating partially parallel acquisition (GRAPPA). In this study, a PET/MR fusion imaging system based on a 3.0T magnetic field and 18F radioisotope were used. An improved median filter that can set a mask of the median value more efficiently than before was modeled and applied to the acquired image. As quantitative evaluation parameters of the noise level, the contrast to noise ratio (CNR) and coefficient of variation (COV) were calculated. Additionally, no-reference-based evaluation parameters were used to analyze the overall image quality. We confirmed that the CNR and COV values of the PET/MR fusion images to which the improved median filter was applied improved by approximately 3.32 and 2.19 times on average, respectively, compared to the noisy image. In addition, the no-reference-based evaluation results showed a similar trend for the noise-level results. In conclusion, we demonstrated that it can be supplemented by using an improved median filter, which suggests the problem of image quality degradation of PET/MR fusion images that shortens scan time using GRAPPA.

스마트 환경에서 이-러닝 서비스를 위한 학습 미디어 Harmonizing 기법 연구 (A Study on the Harmonizing media for E-learning service in Smart Environment)

  • 학습자들은 스마트 디바이스를 이용하여 언제 어디서나 인터넷 접속을 통한 각종 학습처리까지 가능하다. 일상생활에서 계속적으로 스마트 디바이스를 이용할 수 있는 인터넷의 자유를 얻는 만큼 학습자들의 다양한 학습(learning) 서비스 요구와 이용 또한 활발해 진 것이다. 이점에서 요구하는 학습의 관련된 자료들을 동시에 제공할 수 있는 조화로운 융합형 학습 서비스를 제공하는 새로운 이-러닝 연구의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 융합형 학습 서비스는 하나의 혹은 여러 디바이스를 통해 복합 미디어를 구성하는 각각의 콘텐츠간의 조화로운 동기화는 중요 조건이다. 현재는 대표적으로 융합미디어간의 동기화를 제공하는 방법은 콘텐츠간 절대적인 시간 값을 맞추는 방법이다. 그러나 이 방법은 콘텐츠를 전송시 시간적인 딜레이 발생한다. 또한 콘텐츠의 지속시간에 대한 절대적인 시간값을 직접 입력해야하는 번거로움이 있으며, 콘텐츠 작성 시 여러 문제들이 발생한다. 본 논문에는 동기화 문제를 해결 할 수 있는 내용에 따른 하모나이징 동기화 기법 모델(Harmonizing Sync Model)을 제고하고자 한다. 내용에 따른 동기화 기법은 학습 콘텐츠를 집합관계를 효과적으로 모델링 하여 다양한 학습 융합미디어를 갖춘 스마트러닝 개념이다.

Load Sharing Mechanism Across Graft-Bone Interface in Static Cervical Locking Plate Fixation

  • Objective : This study is a retrospective clinical study over more than 4 years of follow up to understand the mechanism of load sharing across the graft-bone interface in the static locking plate (SLP) fixation compared with non-locking plate (NLP). Methods : Orion locking plates and Top non-locking plates were used for SLP fixation in 29 patients and NLP fixation in 24 patients, respectively. Successful interbody fusion was estimated by dynamic X-ray films. The checking parameters were as follows : screw angle (SA) between upper and lower screw, anterior and posterior height of fusion segment between upper and lower endplate (AH & PH), and upper and lower distance from vertebral endplate to the end of plate (UD & LD). Each follow-up value of AH and PH were compared to initial values. Contributions of upper and lower collapse to whole segment collapse were estimated. Results : Successful intervertebral bone fusion rate was 100% in the SLP group and 92% in the NLP group. The follow-up mean value of SA in SLP group was not significantly changed compared with initial value, but follow-up mean value of SA in NLP group decreased more than those in SLP group (p=0.0067). Statistical analysis did not show a significant difference in the change in AH and PH between SLP and NLP groups (p>0.05). Follow-up AH of NLP group showed more collapse than PH of same group (p=0.04). The upper portion of the vertebral body collapsed more than the lower portion in the SLP fixation (p=0.00058). Conclusion : The fused segments with SLP had successful bone fusion without change in initial screw angle, which was not observed in NLP fixation. It suggests that there was enough load sharing across bone-graft interface in SLP fixation.

Value of Additional Instrumented Fusion in the Treatment of Thoracic Ossification of the Ligamentum Flavum

  • Objective : The ossification of the ligamentum flavum (OLF) is one of the major causes of thoracic myelopathy. Surgical decompression with or without instrumented fusion is the mainstay of treatment. However, few studies have reported on the added effect of instrumented fusion. The objective of this study was to compare clinical and radiological outcomes between surgical decompression without instrumented fusion (D-group) and that with instrumented fusion (F-group). Methods : A retrospective review was performed on 28 patients (D-group, n=17; F-group, n=11) with thoracic myelopathy due to OLF. The clinical parameters compared included scores of the Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA), the Visual analogue scale of the back and leg (VAS-B and VAS-L), and the Korean version of the Oswestry disability index (K-ODI). Radiological parameters included the sagittal vertical axis (SVA), the pelvic tilt (PT), the sacral slope (SS), the thoracic kyphosis angle (TKA), the segmental kyphosis angle (SKA) at the operated level, and the lumbar lordosis angle (LLA; a negative value implying lordosis). These parameters were measured preoperatively, 1 year postoperatively, and 2 years postoperatively, and were compared with a linear mixed model. Results : After surgery, all clinical parameters were significantly improved in both groups, while VAS-L was more improved in the F-group than in the D-group (-3.4±2.5 vs. -1.3±2.2, p=0.008). Radiological outcomes were significantly different in terms of changes in TKA, SKA, and LLA. Changes in TKA, SKA, and LLA were 2.3°±4.7°, -0.1°±1.4°, and -1.3°±5.6° in the F-group, which were significantly lower than 6.8°±6.1°, 3.0°±2.8°, and 2.2°±5.3° in the D-group, respectively (p=0.013, p<0.0001, and p=0.037). Symptomatic recurrence of OLF occurred in one patient of the D-group at postoperative 24 months. Conclusion : Clinical improvement was achieved after decompression surgery for OLF regardless of whether instrumented fusion was added. However, adding instrumented fusion resulted in better outcomes in terms of lessening the progression of local and regional kyphosis and improving leg pain. Decompression with instrumented fusion may be a better surgical option for thoracic OLF.

융합시대를 위한 사회복지사의 자원개발역량이 조직효과성에 미치는 융합연구 (Convergence of Social Workers' Resource Development Capability on Organizational Effectiveness for Fusion Age)

  • 본 연구는 수도권지역에 있는 사회복지시설 사회복지사 135명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 사회복지사의 자원개발역량강화와 조직효과성 향상을 강조하기 위해서 본 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 자원개발역량의 태도는 직무만족에 부적인 영향을, 지식은 직무만족에 정적인 영향을, 가치와 기술은 직무만족에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 자원개발역량의 가치와 지식은 조직몰입에 정적인 영향을, 태도와 기술은 조직몰입에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자원개발역량의 가치는 이직의도에 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 태도는 이직의도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 기술은 이직의도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지식은 이직의도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 사회복지사의 자원개발역량인 가치, 태도, 기술, 지식을 높이기 위한 노력을 할 경우, 직무만족이 낮아지거나 이직하고자 하는 의도정도가 상승하는 현상이 나타나 아직까지 사회복지사의 개인역량의 가치를 높이기 위한 사회복지조직의 환경이 열악한 상황임을 알 수 있으므로 이를 개선하기 위한 지원과 노력이 필요하다.
