Objectives: Receiving proper dental care plays a significant role in maintaining good oral health. We investigated the relationship between regional deprivation and dental care utilization. Methods: Multilevel logistic regression was used to identify the relationship between the regional deprivation level and dental care utilization purpose, adjusting for individual-level variables, in adults aged 19+ in the 2008 Korean Community Health Survey (n=220 258). Results: Among Korean adults, 12.8% used dental care to undergo examination and 21.0% visited a dentist for other reasons. In the final model, regional deprivation level was associated with significant variations in dental care utilization for examination (p<0.001). However, this relationship was not shown with dental care utilization for other reasons in the final model. Conclusions: This study's findings suggest that policy interventions should be considered to reduce regional variations in rates of dental care utilization for examination.
The purpose of the present study was to describe the expectation and the performance on the housework socialization of the age homemakers and to ivestigate their relationships to the demographic characteristics and the influences of other related factors. 344 homemakers who were older than 45 years and were living in Chunlabuk-do, 1990 were sampled for this study. The data were collected by questionnaire designed by the researcher and analyzed by using frequency, one-way ANOVA analysis of variance, t-test, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings were as follows ; 1) The aged homemakers' housework socialization score was higher than the average, The score of the expectation was higher than one of the present performance. Scores for the utilization of the household equipments and the utilization of employes's services were higer comparing to those for other variables of the performance and the expectation respectively. 2) There was the significant differences in the each of the present performance varibles related to th housework socialization among the following demographic varables ; Age of homemakers, years of marriage, education, residence area, types of housing, monthly income, and level of housework equipment possession. 3) There was the significant differences in the expectation on the housework socialazation among the following variables ; age of homemakers, years of marriage, education, monthly income, and types of housing. The significant differences were found in the utilization of grouped, the utilization of the commodity, the utilization of the household equipments as subvariables of housework socialization, among age of homemakers, years of marriage, and level of education, The significant differences were found in the utilization of employee's services among age of homemakers, types of family, and level of health. 4) The level of education and monthly income significantly influenced on the present performance of the house work socialization. Years of marriage, significantly influenced on the utilization of grouped, education on the utilization of the commodity.(the utilization of the producted materials) and the utilization of employee's services and monthly income on the utilization of the household equipments (the utilization of the household appliances, and equipments). The years of marriage and education significantly influenced on the expectation on the housework socialization in the order, Age of homemakers and years of marriage significantly influenced on the utilization of grouped, the utilization of the commodity, the utilization of employee's services and age of homemakers and monthly income on the utilization of the household equipments.
Objectives: This research is to provide the basic data for the improvement on oral health by examining the relationship between the dental fear and the dental service utilization, and to discuss a strategy for dental health in order to lower the level of dental fear. Methods: Data were collected by conducting a structured survey of 1,607 people between the age of 13 and 70 who have experiences in visiting a dental institution. Both univariate and multivariate analyses were employed to analyze the relationship between the number of times dental service and dental fears. Results: The average level of dental fear the respondents reported was $52.16{\pm}15.71$ and 31.5% of the response was at the level of high dental fear. A strong physiologic response during the dental treatment was muscle tension and the stimulations that strongly arouse the dental fear were the anaesthetic needle and the sound of drill. A result of analysis on the relationship between the dental fear and the dental service utilization shows that as the level of dental fear became higher, the number of times for the dental service utilization for the last year had reduced. Also when a patient has an experience of putting off or canceling an appointment due to dental fear and as a physiologic response during the dental treatment became stronger, the result shows a tendency that the number of times for the dental service utilization for the last year had reduced. Conclusions: It has been observed that dental fear is one of the main barrier to use dental service. Therefore, a physio-psychological factor like the dental fear should be included in the task of promotion of dental health, and in analyzing the dental service utilization behavior. A discussion about how to lower dental fear was made with respect to oral health promotion. At individual level, improvement of communication skill by dental service providers should be made with rearrangement of clinic environment into more cozy one.
The present study has aimed at analyzing the technical and scale efficiencies of credit utilization by the farmer-borrowers in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. DEA approach was followed to analyze the credit utilization efficiency and to analyze the factors influencing the credit utilization efficiency, log-linear regression analysis was attempted. DEA analysis revealed that, the number of farmers operating at CRS are more in number in marginal farms (40%) followed by other (35%) and small (17.5%) farms. Regarding the number of farmers operating at VRS, small farmers dominate the scenario with 72.5 per cent followed by other (67.5%) and marginal (42.5%) farmers. With reference to scale efficiency, marginal farmers are in majority (52.5%) followed by other (47.5%) and small (25%) farmers. At the pooled level, 26.7 per cent of the farmers are being operated at CRS, 63 per cent at VRS and 32.5 per cent of the farmers are either performed at the optimum scale or were close to the optimum scale (farms having scale efficiency values equal to or more than 0.90). Nearly 58, 15 and 28 percents of the farmers in the marginal farms category were found operating in the region of increasing, decreasing and constant returns respectively. Compared to marginal farmers category, there are less number of farmers operating at CRS both in small farmers category (15%) and other farmers category (22.5%). At the pooled level, only 5 per cent of the farmers are operating at DRS, majority of the farmers (73%) are operating at IRS and only 22 per cent of the farmers are operating at CRS indicating efficient utilization of credit. The log-linear regression model fitted to analyze the major determinants of credit utilization (technical) efficiency of farmer-borrowers revealed that, the three variables viz., cost of cultivation and family expenditure (both negatively influencing at 1% significant level) and family income (positively influencing at 1% significant level) are the major determinants of credit utilization efficiency across all the selected farmers categories and at pooled level. The analysis further indicate that, escalation in the cost of cultivation of crop enterprises in the region, rise in family expenditure and prior indebtedness of the farmers are showing adverse influence on the credit utilization efficiency of the farmer-borrowers.
This study focuses on the necessity of MOT methods in companies, especially the utilization level. Based on the analysis structure of the previous study (2012), this study was conducted to compare the results with the previous results. We investigated the settlement level of MOT, the degree of necessity for MOT methods, the degree of actual use, and the Product Realization Process (PRP) for MOT-related researchers in electronic companies (n=184). It was confirmed that the higher the demand for MOT methods in the corporate field, the higher the utilization level (ratio). In particular, the need for and utilization of techniques such as Environmental Analysis, Business Opportunity Analysis, Project Feasibility Review, Roadmap, Risk Management was high. These methods were beneficial along with cost management and quality management techniques. The most challenging part of using MOT methods was the lack of systematic use, the absence of experts, and the difficulty in selecting suitable techniques. The necessity of opening subjects such as Creative Thinking, Communication, Teamwork, and Professional Ethics was high among the PRP subjects. Furthermore, the necessity of opening courses in Cost and Safety Design and Applied Statistics was higher than in the previous study.

The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson product moment at 0.05 level of significance. The level of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and media improvisation were high. Significant relationship existed among: emotional intelligence (r = 0.42), Media improvisation (r = 0.46) and Teaching self-efficacy (r = 0.31) to media resources utilization. It recommended that lecturers' emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and media improvisation are to be promoted in colleges of education.
Objective of the study represents experiences of medical utilization of Psychiatric Outpatients. This research draws on information obtained from the 2008 National-wide sampling study of the Korean Healthcare Panel(KHP) conducted. The results of our study suggest the significance of variables such as the gender(p<.001) in the social demographical characteristics, the medical security type(p<.016), medical institution utilization(p<.012) treatment type(p<.004) in the utilization factors. In the case of medical utilization cost, the financial support factor(p<.018) showed a significant relationship. Depending on the particularities of gender, medical security type, financial support, medical institution utilization, treatment type were determined through a multiple logistics regression analysis. Gender showed that, among Psychiatric outpatient age of 30-59 level was 5.358 times and 60 years and older, their the second medical examination level was 4.490 times higher than Psychiatric outpatients under the age of 29. Health insurance type showed for the others medical allowance was 6.712 times higher than job health insurance and the other treatment was 0.395 times lower than drug treatment. Psychiatric outpatients utilization are rooted in the thoughts and factor levels of the Psychiatric patients and must be understood from the Psychiatric outpatients's perspective. The point is not only to gauge the patients research during Psychiatric medical utilization. The important of social community mental healthcare services levels goes beyond the goal of enhancing healthcare.
Objectives: Using the annual data from the 2016 Korean Health Panel, this study aims to identify the factors that affect the dental utilization and expenditure of patients with chronic diseases, and to provide basic data to explain the inequality gap in dental utilization. Methods: The dental utilization and expenditure of 3,557 patients with chronic diseases were analyzedfor frequency using the SPSS Windows version 23.0 (SPSS Inc. IL, USA). Analysis of the factors that affect dental utilization and expenditure were performed using a multiple regression analysis. The level of statistical significance was 0.05. Results: The frequency of dental utilization in patients with chronic diseases was high for subjects who were younger than 65 years and those whose education level was below high school. The frequency of dental utilization was relatively lower for subjects who did not have disabilities and those with healthier subjective health status. The dental expenditure of patients with chronic diseases was higher in subjects who were younger than 65 years and those with greater household income. Conclusions: The above findings suggest that a plan is needed to control dental utilization by efficiently managing chronic diseases, and that a policy-based plan is needed to devise ways to supplement the uninsured medical expenses of dental care.
