Recently, character agents are used as a user-friendly interface. In this paper, we have studied a generic framework for emotional character agents which are designed to infer emotions from diverse personalities, situations, user behaviors and to express them. The method of emotion inference is based on blackboard systems which are used to solve the problems in AI. Because it keeps independence between knowledge sources which are rules of emotions, a blackboard-based inference engine is easy to manage knowledge sources, Blackboard-based systems gave the system flexibility. So we can adapt the engine to various application systems. Each emotional agent monitors user behavior, learns user profile and infers user behavior. And it generates characters emotions according to the user profile. So, in case of same situations, the agent can generate different emotions according to users. We have studied to build an personalized emotional character agent which according to situations and user modeling.

Purpose One of the success factors of information system projects is to reduce requirements uncertainty through user engagement. So, in many recent IS development environment, a business analyst or business analysts are positioned between users and developers to drive user engagement to reduce requirements uncertainty. But, there are few studies that research about the competencies of business analysts for training and staffing. So, this study analyzed which underlying and practical competencies that positively influence user engagement are required. Design/methodology/approach The level of underlying and practical competencies required for business analysts and the level of user enagement in the IS development environment are collected through the survey. And, the causal relationship between the construct concepts which are underlying competencies, practical competencies and the user participation is analzed through the PLS analysis. Findings The results of this study show that the practial competencies of business analysts that positively have a significant impact on user engaement were studied as requirements development skills. Additionally, the underlying competencies of business analysts which have a significant impact on requirements development skills were examined as business knowledge and interaction skills rather than technical knowledge and communication skills.

Since 2000, the Ministry of Information and Communication has spearhead the so-called Knowledge Information Resource Management Project to turn South Korea into an information-knowledge powerhouse. With the project, the ministry has digitalized major information content in various fields such as history, education, culture and science, enabling many people to benefit through the Internet. During the period,12 institutions have participated in the history fields, The participants are as follows: Muncheongak at Gyeongsang National University, Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, National Institute of Korean History, Independence Hall of Korea, Korean Classics Research Insitute, Korea Democracy Foundation, Gyujanggak Archives, Seoul National University, Jongyeonggak, Sungkyunkwan University, The War Memorial of Korea, Korean Studies Advancement Center, Korean Women's Development Institute, and The Academy of Korean Studies. Because the 12 information systems have different functional user interfaces, it is confusing for people to utilize them effectively That requires us to standardize the interfaces, which would improve the overall improvement in effectiveness. This paper compares each user interface of the 12 information systems to determine their similarities and differences in terms of how to search information and present results. This work will pave the way to build a standardized user interface .

The authentication process is a key step that should be used to verify that a user is legitimate, and it should be used to verify that a user is a legitimate user and grant access only to that user. Recently, two-factor authentication and OTP schemes are used by most applications to add a layer of security to the login process and to address the vulnerability of using only one factor for authentication, but this method also allows access to user accounts without permission. This is a known security vulnerability. In this paper, we propose a Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) personal information authentication scheme based on a Smart Contract of a block chain that authenticates users with minimal personal information exposure conditions. This has the advantage of providing many security technologies to the authentication process based on blockchain technology, and that personal information authentication can be performed more safely than the existing authentication method.

The method of recent information retrieval passes into an semantic search to provide more accurate results than keyword-based search. But in common user case, they are still accustomed to using existing keyword-based search. Hence they are hard to create a typed structured query language. In this paper, we propose to ontology knowledge-base scheme for query interpretation of these user. The proposed scheme was designed based on the OWL-DL for description logic reasoning, it can provide a richer representation of the relationship between the object by using SWRL(Semantic Web Rule Language). Finally, we are describe the experimental results of the similarity measurement for verification of a user query semantic interpretation.

Although password-based authentication as known as knowledge-based authentication was commonly used but intrinsic problems such as dictionary attack remain unsolved. For that the study on possession-based authentication was required. User remote authentication using smartcard is proceeding actively since Lee et al. proposed user remote authentication using knowledge-based information(password) and possession-base information(smartcard) in 2002. in 2009, Xu et al. proposed a new protocol preserving user anonymity and Shin et al. proposed enhanced scheme with analysis of its vulnerabilities on user anonymity and masquerading attack in 2012. In this paper, we analyze Shin et al. scheme on forward secrecy and insider attack and present novel user authentication based on elliptic curve cryptosystem which is secure against forward secrecy, insider attack, user anonymity and masquerading attack.

Effective resource management in the digital library should be implemented for the whole accessible sources on the network including multimedia one such as image files other than texts which focus on books. Contents management can be resource management of digital library in terms of wide scope, moreover, it\`s main function is to provide effectively tailor-made knowledge contents for users\` diversified objective of information usage. In this study, I examined main factors for more effective and advanced knowledge management including web resources under the current digital environment. First of all, I described closely several types of conceptualization and trails regarding more effective contents management and came up with advanced user-centered contents management system, i.e., user factors, intermediary factors, and finally service ones.

A study was conducted to develop Internet Literacy Questionnaire(ILQ) to investigate the levels of user's knowledge on Internet literacy. ILQ was found to be reliable (showed an internal consistency) with Cronbach's alpha of 0.93(p-value<0.001) and valid with test-retest correlation of 0.90 (p-value<0.001). ILQ, composed of 21 questions, was developed to test four areas of user's Internet literacy: general experience on Internet, advanced experience on Internet, knowledge on Internet program languages, and Internet application software programs. These four factors represented 69.2% of the knowledge of all areas of Internet literacy. As a result, ILQ could be used to differentiate the levels of user's Internet knowledge as beginners, intermediates, and experts before any Internet application programs are to be developed.

The development of information networks and computer technology has become a foundation to open up a sea of information and knowledge. The recent popularization of smart devices has been used as a tool to easily obtain the desired information and knowledge. In this paper, a knowledge-sharing system using information and social networks based on smart devices is proposed. The proposed system consists of functions of an Internet information search for user queries, accumulated knowledge, and social network response from acquaintances. An evaluation for user satisfaction was conducted to analyze the efficacy of the proposed system. According to the experiment, the knowledge-sharing system using smart device information results in significant satisfaction compared to the general information search engines.
