The primary goal of the study is to provide a newly refined data model, an information exchange foundation of modeling operation for rapid prototyping, as one among non-milling STEP-NC modules. The previous data model has been first modified and refined by reflecting specific user requirements. Second, subsidiary information such as fabrication history as well as traditional process information has been introduced into the newly refined model in order to consolidate the model functionality. In short, the main contribution of the study is to provide a foundation where a newly refined data model is utilized easily and conveniently for practical rapid prototyping fabrication within the newly constructed STEP-NC environment.

In this paper, we present an ontology mediation solution based on the methods frequently used in Formal Concept Analysis. Our approach of mediation is based on the existence of instances associated to two source ontologies, then we can generate concepts in a new ontology if and only if they share the same extent. Hence our approach creates a merged ontology which captures the knowledge of these two source ontologies. The main contributions of this work are (i) to enable the creation of concepts not originally in the source ontologies, (ii) to propose a solution to label these emerging concepts and finally (iii) to optimize the resulting ontology by eliminating redundant or non pertinent concepts. Another contribution of this work is to emphasize that several forms of mediated ontology can be defined based on the relaxation of certain criteria produced from our method. The solution that we propose for tackling these issues is an automatic solution, meaning that it does not require the intervention of the end-user, excepting for the definition of the common set of ontology instances.

Nowadays various simulation tools are widely used for the design and the analysis of power electronic converters. From the engineering point of view it is rather difficult to parameterize power semiconductor device models without the knowledge of basic physical parameters. In recent years some data sheet driven behavioral models or so called 'wizard' tools have been introduced to solve this problem. In this contribution some experiences with some user-friendly power semiconductor models will be discussed. Using special simulation test circuits it is possible to get information on the static and dynamic behavior of the parameterized models before they are applied in more complex schemes. These results can be compared with data sheets or with measurements. The application of these models for power loss analysis of inverter type arc welding power sources will be described.

ICT based convergence application is one of the most prevalent industrial issue these days. Despite of criticalness and potential economic opportunities of the ICT based convergence, theoretical research to analyze the feasibility and estimate the economic impact of the application is rather limited. This paper is intended to fill this research gap. In this respect, we develop theoretical framework to quantitatively estimate the differential benefits of convergent applications, which necessarily include underling ICT technology's contribution attributes extractions, and resulting value increments engendered from user's process effectiveness when ICT based service application is adopted. The research model to assess the differential value of the ICT based service application is developed, grounded on theoretical framework of TPC (Technology-to-performance chain) and contingency fit theories. Scenario based survey method is adopted, and SmartPLS 2.0. is used for statistical analysis of the structural equation model using 312 questionnaire. Valid statistical results are presented to provide useful insight.

Information Technology (IT) makes a great contribution towards improvement of productivity in construction industry. Because most of researches of construction industry's IT are focused on the whole field of the industry or development of information system, however, these have no regard for conditions in fields. Thus, this study proposes the requirements in order to improve the productivity and efficiency of field execution of construction industry. To achieve this aim, the surveys are conducted of the problems and conditions of IT application on site workers and managers. As a result, the followings are suggested: (1) user training should be exercised continuously, (2) infrastructure of IT constructed, (3) total management system of field execution developed, and (4) the development of IT system focused on fields. Therefore, this study provides meaningful proposal that can be set up basic direction toward IT investment and IT system development.

This paper aims at making cyber science museum construction. In general, there are 3 subjects of discussion in education field; namely past, present and future. Related with those facts, there is several information or knowledge that relatively hard to be presented in the real world. In this matter, digital content shows its contribution especially in the education field. Digital content can virtually represent the information or knowledge that seems to be difficult to be visualized in the real world before. In this project, researcher develops a mobile device's application that consist the skeleton's 3D virtual content. This application is expected to solve the above explained problem that usually appears during learning human skeleton in senior high-school's biology class. Besides, the application of digital content will make the learning process become easier because the student will have a visual learning tool. Last, the mobile device that is used in this prototype has offer an important beneficial namely mobility beneficial, so that the user can access the content anytime and anywhere.

A new breed of universities equipped with student-centered education programs and advanced digital technologies is changing the face of higher education. "Flipped learning" is heralded as a new model of education, yet its effect is underexplored. The purpose of this study is to provide evaluation criteria to assess and understand the merit of student-centered education programs and apply them to actual cases. Discussion on the nature of knowledge, its production mechanism and system, and possible contribution of digital technology to user-centered programs are discussed to produce five key criteria; initiative of students, interaction in class, interaction in field, customization of courses, and automated personal service. They are applied to evaluation of Minerva and Ecole 42.

The information material in the library or in the information service center is at once its own property and the national resources, so that every citizen in the country has the right to the equal use of it for the development of the country. Library co-operation enables every citizen to use easily and equally the materials in the library. In the informational society of today, owing to the information explosion, the increase in the various user's demand of the information, and the rise of the cost of information material, even the richest and highly advanced country cannot be self-sufficient. Under these circumstances, the international co-operation among libraries seems to be the best way to solve the difficulties of selfsufficiency. Therefore, this paper aims to study the background of IFLA founded in 1927 in order to promote the international library co-operation and its development up to 1970's since its establishment, and, by introducing IFLA's programs of UBC, ISBD, and UAP, to consider the significance of IFLA's contribution to the development of library and librarianship.

Even though the concept "Adaptive" was introduced in the late 50's, the main contribution to adaptive and/or self-tuning control has been made since late 70's. This paper describes the feature of adaptive control simulation package KERICON(I) developed in KERI. Informations on hardware environments, install and testing of a new algorithm and user interfacings are also summarized. The package is written in C language and currently being updated for expert-type adaptive control package (KERICON II).RICON II).
