The reason for exploring dreams is to understand the of patient's conflicts and unconscious motivation. Even if the therapeutic value of dreams is considerably faded these days, I can not deny that dreams are still very useful. From the beginning of human history, dreams have been an appealing subject for many people. In the past, dreams chiefly had the value of prophetic meaning, and in our tradition attention was paid to dreams in terms of good and bad dichotomy. Freud's discovery of the Unconscious and technical development of its exploration is reinforced by dream interpretation. In contemporary terms, although dreams are not the royal road to the Unconscious, they surely present a short-cut. I suggest that dreams as a treasure island of the Unconscious have a useful therapeutic value, and that stressing the importance of dreams is by no means anachronistic. I believe that practical sessions without dreams are like a river without bridges.

In this paper, new parameters were developed to estimate the depth of anesthesia during a general anesthesia using EEG. Power spectral density(PSD) analysis was used for these parameters because EEG became slow wave during anesthesia. The new parameters were DTR, ATR, TDR, ADR, BTR and BDR applied to PSD. These parameters were compared with SEF which is conventionally used at clinic and confirmed clinical value. As the results, DTR, ATR, TDR, ADR among parameters were not useful compared with SEF but BTR and BDR is valuable for clinic. 15 patents, at pre-operation BDR the value is $265.36{\pm}25.29$, at induction the value is $129.23{\pm}34.92$, at operation the value is $154.99{\pm}38.34$, at awaked the value is $283.83{\pm}39.80$ and at post-operation the value is $234.80{\pm}23.46$. Also at pre-operation BTR value is $183.38{\pm}13.59$, at induction the value is $104.09{\pm}25.11$, at operation the value is $115.38{\pm}23.42$, at awaked the value is $190.33{\pm}23.31$ and at post-operation the value is $172.38{\pm}19.08$. Trend of BDR and BTR is similar to change of SEF, so two parameters are useful. to estimate the depth of anesthesia.

Rubber components are widely used in many application such as vibration isolators, damping, ride quality. Rubber spring is used in primary suspension system for railway vehicle. Characteristics and useful life prediction of rubber spring was very important in design procedure to assure the safety and reliability. Non-linear properties of rubber material which are described as strain energy function are important parameter to design and evaluate of rubber spring. These are determined by physical tests which are uniaxial tension, equi-biaxial tension and pure shear test. The computer simulation was executed to predict and evaluate the load capacity and stiffness for rubber spring. In order to investigate the useful life, the acceleration test were carried out. Acceleration test results changes as the threshold are used for assessment of the useful life and time to threshold value were plotted against reciprocal of absolute temperature to give the Arrhenius plot. By using the acceleration test, several useful life prediction for rubber spring were proposed.

This pape applies the multi-attribute utility theory for estimating the non-economci value of technology. The technology of the code division multiple access in mobile communications is used as a case study. For an initial value problem, using a weighted average between two adjacent approximates, we propose a simple one-step method based on the Euler method. This method is useful for solving stiff initial value problem, even when the step size is not very small. Moreover, it can be seen that the proposed method with some selected weights results in improved approximation errors.

As the one-person households with economic power have increased, the consumption culture changed as well. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the on-line shopping motivation of one-person households in terms of consumer value. Economic value, emotional value, convenience value, social value were identified as affecting factors of satisfaction and intention to re-use of on-line shopping purchasing based on prior studies of on-line shopping behavior. This study tested the hypothesized model targeting 244 one-person households who have purchased products in on-line shopping mall. According to the results of analysis by using R, economic value, emotional value are significantly related to the consumer satisfaction but convenience value, social value are not. Consumer satisfaction of online purchasing was also shown to be related to the intention to re-use. However no difference between men and female was shown in shopping motivations. The research result can provide useful guidelines and strategies for one-person households with online shopping malls.

The purpose of this study is to forecast patient satisfaction and service value through the staged regression analysis of the relation between each factor and its satisfaction and service value, following the measurement of the quality of dental care service that patients recognize. And a self-administered survey was used for this study. The subjects of this survey were 394 outpatients of dental clinics located in K city in the period from Dec. 5, 2004 to Feb. 19, 2005, the questionnaire was composed of a total of 31 questions to measure the quality of overall dental care service(22 questions), the patient satisfaction(6 questions) and the service value(3 questions). The 7 points Likert scale ranging from "very poor"(1-point) to "very high"(7-point) was used for these questions The results of study could be summarized as follows: 1. The most useful index to predict patient satisfaction turned out to be "internal environment", followed by "treatment process and waiting time", "dentist", "external environment", and "dental hygienist". 2. The service value had a significant effect on the "internal environment", "dentist", "treatment process and waiting time". 3. The most useful index to predict the service value turned out to be "treatment process and waiting time", followed by "internal environment" and "dentist". Today, the quality of dental care service is becoming a prime concern since it is directly connected to a matter of survival of medical service organizations. Dental clinics desperately need patient-oriented marketing strategies in order to actively cope with changing medical environment. They also need to thoroughly examine possible measures to maximize the service value by establishing a variety of service strategies which can promote service quality that patients recognize.
