도시 열환경 개선을 위한 바람길 특성 분석 및 관리 전략 - 부산광역시를 사례로 - (Ventilation Corridor Characteristics Analysis and Management Strategy to Improve Urban Thermal Environment - A Case Study of the Busan, South Korea -)

  • 본 연구는 부산광역시를 대상으로 열환경을 개선하기 위한 바람길 관리 방안 제안을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해, Landsat-7 위성 열영상 자료와 공간통계 분석을 실시하여 부산광역시의 Hot spot과 Cool spot 지역 특성을 파악하였으며, WRF 기상모의를 통해 주요 바람길을 분석하였다. 그 결과, Hot spot 지역 중 열환경 개선이 요구되는 지역은 부산진구, 동래구, 연제구와 사상구 공업지역, 대규모 시설지역에는 부산항 부두로 나타났으며 주요 바람길에는 금정산~백양산~구덕산 계곡부로서 확인되었다. 이를 바탕으로 바람길 관리 전략을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 공업시설과 부산항 일대는 대기 온도 상승 요인으로서 주변 지역의 열환경을 악화시키므로 시설의 온도저감 및 바람길을 고려한 도시·건축계획이 요구된다. 바람길 관리가 필요한 지역으로 만덕동, 사직동 일대 산림에 대한 추가적인 훼손이 일어나지 않도록 하여야 하며, 산림과 인접한 지역의 대규모 고층아파트는 산림에서 생성된 차고 신선한 공기의 흐름을 방해하므로 금정산과 접해있는 제3종 일반주거지역의 신규·재개발에 따른 고층아파트 단지 조성은 지양해야 한다. 본 연구 결과는 부산광역시의 기후변화에 대응한 도시계획 및 환경계획수립 시 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

도시기후지도의 작성 -상계 4동을 중심으로- (Urban Climate Mapping - The Case of Sanggye 4-Dong -)

  • The objective of this study is to improve the quality of the atmospheric environment by incorporating the factors of meteorology and urban climate into the field of urban and environmental planning. To this end, we have conducted a study on CLIMATOP and the mapping of urban climate, which are basic data used to analyze changes in climatic factors and the stagnation and accumulation of air pollutants. In particular, we focused on understanding the formation and movement of cold fresh air and its influx into urban areas by measuring and analyzing climatic factors. As a study result, classification criteria far CLIMATOP and a urban climatic map were made. In addition, we analyzed a digital elevation model, climatic data, and isothermal curves. As a result, we identified the corridor through which cold fresh air moves. We also observed that the temperature of the fluxed cold fresh air increased as land use changed. When the results of this study are applied to urban re-development and re-building projects, which require preliminary environmental assessment and environmental impact assessment, the practice proposed by this study is expected to contribute to the natural purification of air pollution activating the movement of cold fresh air and its influx into urban areas.

지속 가능한 개발 및 생태조경분야의 연구경향과 과제 (Issues and Trends concerning of Ecological Landscape Planning and Design with ESSD)

  • All Papers on Ecological Landscape Degign in KILA from 1973 to 2003 are listed herein for finding research issues and trends. The emerging field of Ecological studies of landscape design is based on Landscape Ecology and Watershed Ecology, the Principles of which can be applied to surveying and evaluation, Planning and design, construction and management focusing preservation of wildlife habitat and niche. This field can be classified into six categories: 1. Sustainable site planning and index, 2. Ecological planning process and regulation, 3. landscape ecology and biotope map, 4. Watershed and eco corridor project, 5. Urban forestry and environment, and 6. artificial ground and restoration ecology. The following is the summary of the findings from Paper review: 1. Sustainable index shall be studied about more specified sites. Water recycling facilities, and reservation wet land need to be studied. 2. Policy and legislation research on Ecological design shall be researched by expanding of the application field. Nature park planning and management fields shall be considered as the main theme of green networking Parts. 3. Landscape Ecological studies should be connected to practical surveying data, e.g. the eco-maps published by Environment Ministry. Traditional culture and science should be joined with the modem science. 4. Eco-corridor planning will go with the scenarios and theories of watershed ecology. 5. Urban forestry shall be studied with the wildlife's behavior and habitat. 6. Restoration engineering techniques should be reconsidered with the wildlife's existence and environmental affiliation.

GIS와 퍼지함수(Fuzzy function)를 활용한 고라니의 생태통로 적지분석 - 춘천시를 대상으로 - (Suitability Analysis of Eco-corridor for Korean Water Deer (Hydropotes Inermis) based on GIS and Fuzzy Function - A Case Study of Chuncheon City -)

  • Rapid developments around the world have resulted in urban expansion, habitat destruction, habitat fragmentation, and pollution problems, which are the main reasons for the decline in biological diversity. The United Nations warns that many animals and plants will die out in the near future if this continues. This study was performed to propose a map of eco-corridor suitability analysis of Korean water deer(Hydropotes Inermis) to enhance biodiversity in Chuncheon city. Eight factors affecting habitat suitability were elevation, aspect, slope, forest type, distance to the road, distance to the stream, land use and green connectivity. Previous study analysis on the mobility behaviour of the Korean water deer(Hydropotes Inermis) produced a habitat suitability map by determining the threshold and assigning a value between 0 and 1 depending on the habitat suitability using the fuzzy function. A method of analysis was proposed for a number of eco-corridor through comparative analysis of the data from the produced habitat suitability map and the road-kill point. The previous studies were focused on Backdudaegan region and national parks except for urban cities. The potential habitat map of Korean water deer could be helpful as a way to prevent habitat disconnection and increase species diversity in urban areas.

도심항공교통(UAM) 운용 실증 노선의 기상 특성 및 시사점: 한강회랑의 시정 및 바람을 중심으로 (Weather Barriers of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Operations: A Case Study of the Visibility and Wind Shear around Han-River Corridor)

  • Urban Air Mobility (UAM) is promising, sustainable and efficient air transportation in a metropolitan area. Korean government has recently announced operation demonstration plans as a step toward commercialization of UAM. However, there is lack of understanding on the potential impact of weather on UAM operation. We collected weather observations from Gimpo International Airport and 5 automatic weather stations (AWS) along UAM corridor of the Han-River to assess weather barriers such as low visibility, wind gust and wind shear. The results show the frequency of low visibility near the corridor fluctuated significantly from year to year depending on the concentration of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in Seoul. The frequency of high wind speed-shift calculated using 1-minute wind observations was increased not only during the spring season (March, April, and May) but also the beginning of rainy season (Jun). In addition, a chance of high wind shear from 1-minute wind observations varied by the stations, suggesting that the condition is largely affected by topography including a river and high-rise buildings. These basic weather properties suggest that there are substantial weather barriers to UAM operations along the Han-River Corridor, while they cannot properly surveil micro-scale weather conditions in detail such as wind gust and wind shear over the corridor. Thus, this study suggests that potential barriers related to adverse weather need to be evaluated, building high-density weather observations infrastructure prior to UAM demonstration and commercialization.

성남시 갈마치 지역의 야생동물이동통로 복원계획 및 조성 후 모니터링 (Monitoring and restoration plan after construction of Wildlife Corridor at Mt. Galmachi of Sungnam City)

  • This study aims at monitoring the efficiency of wildlife corridor in the city of Sungnam, Gyunggi Province. During 2008-2010 for 13 months the CCTV in the city office followed number and population density using the wildlife corridor. Based on the monitoring Korean raccoon dog(Nyctereutes procyonoides) and water deer(Hydropotes inermis), Korean hare(Lepus coreanus), Korean yellow-weasel(Mustela sibirica), Korean squirrels(Sciurus vulgaris) used most often and counting 884 individuals.. This counts over 73% of targeted species and also verifies the project objectives. In future the monitoring should be increased and identify behavioral patterns focusing on ecological networks of previously fragmented habitats.

카메라트래핑을 활용한 광교신도시 내 도시형 생태통로 모니터링 (Monitoring Urban Ecological corridors in Gwanggyo New Town Using Camera Trapping)

  • The new town in Korea, developed as a large-scale housing plan, has created urban ecological corridors to provide habitat and movement routes to wildlife and to promote natural ecological flow. This study aimed to investigate the use of wildlife in 10 ecological corridors in Gwanggyo New Town through camera trap technology and confirm effectiveness by identifying environmental factors affecting the use of wildlife's urban ecological corridors. Our researchers installed 20 unmanned sensor cameras at each the entrance and exit of the ecological corridors, and monitored urban wildlife for 10 weeks. According to the monioring results, the main species in Gwanggyo New Town were identified not only raccons, cats, water deer, korean hare and avain but also magpies, dove, eurasian tree sparrow, ring-necked pheasant, and eurasian jay. The number of uses ecological corridors of urban residents was 801(13.49%), as high as that of urban wildlife (1,140, 19.20%), which was judged to have disturbed the use of ecological corridors by wildlife. However, most dominant species of urban wildlife are nocturnal so that, it was judged that they share home range with urban residents at a time interval. In addition, according to the correlation analysis results between the mammal using rate of the urban ecological corridors and environmental factors(ecological corridor-specific length, ecological corridor-specific width, cover degree, shielding degree, connected green area, separation of movement routes, and presence of streetlights), environmental factors were not statistically significant. However, the more the area of green space connected to ecological corridors, the more increasing the mammal using rate of ecological corridor(r=0.71, p<0.05). Therefore, the area of green space connected to the ecological corridors that is associated with rate of wildlife using corridors should be considered as a priority when developing an urban ecological corridors. In the future, this study will extend the observation period of the ecological corridors and continuously accumulate data by adding the number of observation cameras. Furthermore, it is expected that the results of this study can be used as basic data for the standards for urban ecological corridors installation.

전주지역의 바람길 특성 분석 및 활용 방안 (Analysis and Utilization Strategies of Ventilation Corridor Characteristics in Jeon-ju Area)

  • 본 연구는 폭염 및 미세먼지 저감을 위한 계획요소인 바람길의 활용 가능성을 논의해보고자, 전주시를 대상으로 바람길의 특성을 분석하고, 바람길 활용을 위한 방안을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해, 호남정맥에 위치하는 전주지역 일대의 찬공기 흐름 및 찬공기 층 높이 등 찬공기 특성을 분석하였고, 전주시의 주요한 바람길을 특정하였다. 또한, 이를 바탕으로 전주시 일대의 산림관리 및 도시계획 활용방안을 제안하였다. 찬공기 특성 분석을 위해 독일에서 개발된 모형인 KALM(Kaltluftabflussmodell)을 이용하여 야간 6시간 동안 생성되는 찬공기 흐름 및 찬공기층 높이를 파악하였다. 분석 결과, 시간이 경과함에 따라 전주시 외곽 북동쪽 및 동쪽에 위치한 산림에서 생성된 찬공기의 흐름이 뚜렷해지고, 계곡지역과 농경지 일대에서 찬공기층의 높이가 증가하였다. 특히, 전주시의 찬공기 흐름은 북동쪽과 동쪽에서 생성된 찬공기가 전주시 중심 시가지로 유입되어 남쪽으로 흘러나가는 형태를 가지고 있어, 이상적인 바람길의 구조를 보여주는 사례였다. 찬공기 분석 결과를 바탕으로, 찬공기 생성이 활발한 산림지역 일대를 '찬공기 보전지역'으로 지정하고, 원활한 찬공기 흐름을 위해 관리가 필요한 지역을 '찬공기 관리지역'으로 지정하여, 찬공기 흐름을 유지 및 확대할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 전주시의 기후변화 적응 정책, 바람길숲 조성 사업 등 폭염과 미세먼지 해결을 위한 정책 수립과 연구의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

도심지역 산지형 근린공원내 도로에 의한 단절지역 생물이동통로 조성계획 연구 - 동작구 노량진근린공원을 대상으로 - (An Ecological Corridor Plan in an Urban Neighborhood Park - A Case Study of Noryangjin Neighborhood Park in Dongjak-gu, Seoul -)

  • This study was carried out to design a bridge-type ecological corridor plan in a forested neighborhood park affected by road construction in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. In order to study the site conditions, we analyzed topography, ecosystem structure, and user behavior and trail use. Existing vegetation was classified into 12 types. Based on a vegetation analysis, the Populus albaglandulosa and Robinia pseudoacacia communities, where planted species are dominant, were distributed extensively in the southern forest area. Planted areas with a single-layer structure of Korean landscape woody plants and Robinia pseudoacacia communities with a single-layer structure were distributed extensively in the northern forest and water-supply area. Based on a study of 28 quadrats, the similarity index between the multi-layer plant communities distributed in the southern forest and the single-layer planted areas was low. Twenty-four species of wild birds(355 individuals) were found in the survey area, including nine interior species and three urban species. The study of user behavior and numbers showed most users were walkers and few users were observed in the southern forest while most users were observed in the northern forest and water supply area. We selected some wild birds as model species to represent migrating species believed to use this park as an ecological corridor during migration. We suggested the new park plan include the following: improvement of vegetation structure for wildbird migration and habitat, connection of park trails for users and presentation of a landscape linked to nature.

SORA 모델을 적용한 화물운송 한국형 도심항공교통(K-UAM) 시범운용 회랑의 운용위험도 평가 연구 (A Study on the Operational Risk Assessment of cargo transport Korean Urban Air Mobility(K-UAM) trial operation corridor applying SORA Model)

  • 최근 항공산업 분야의 최대 이슈로 부각되고 있는 UAM(Urban Air Mobility)은 국내 뿐아니라 국제적으로 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 현재 우리나라는 미래 K-UAM 운용개념서 제정 등 정부 및 산학연을 중심으로 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있으나 아직까지 비행안전의 핵심 요소인 K-UAM 운용 환경에 대한 위험도 평가 방안은 마련되어 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유럽 JARUS(Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems)에서 제정한 SORA(Specific Operation Risk Assessment) 모델을 적용하여 정부가 추진하고 있는 화물 운송 목적의 K-UAM 운용 환경 및 특정 회랑을 대상으로 위험도를 평가하고 그에 따른 결과 분석을 통해 위험도 완화를 위한 정책 및 기술적 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
