국내.외 환경교육 논문 분석을 통한 연구 경향 비교 (Comparison of Korean and International Environmental Education Trends through Research Synthesis)

  • To understand the research trend of environmental education(EE) during last two decades, we analyzed a total of 801 research papers published from 1990 to 2008, 418 research papers from "Hwankyungkyouk" and 393 research papers from "The Journal of Environmental Education(JEE)", respectively. The majority of the authors in both journals majored in EE, followed by authors of science education major in "Hwankyungkyouk" and authors of social science major in JEE. In both journals, more researches were data-collected by quantitative method rather than qualitative method. In particular, the ratio of researches by qualitative method have been dramatically increased since the mid 1990s. The significance test was less used in Korean EE researches than those in JEE. In both journals, more EE researches for elementary and secondary school students were accomplished, which tended to be more salient in Korea. The result of the analysis of 119 EE programs in both journals proposed that EE program needs to be developed more diversely in content as well as in educational method.

Short-term ICT Training Program for Non-Computer Science Major Teachers in Developing Countries for Improving ICT Teaching Efficacy

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a short-term ICT training course that helps teachers from non-computing disciplines in developing countries acquire flipped-learning content creation skills. A field application is performed by applying the developed ICT training course to secondary school teachers of non-ICT subject specialisms in Laos. In the field study, participating teachers' teaching efficacy on ICT and satisfaction toward the training course are measured. The result of t-test on ICT teaching efficacy showed statistically significant increases in teachers' self-efficacy related to ICT use, both personal efficacy and outcome expectancy. The satisfaction survey performed after training showed that trainees were highly satisfied with the training course. The results of this field study could be used to propose a short-term teacher education model that could be applicable to teachers in other developing countries.

의과대학생이 만날 미래, 어떻게 준비할 것인가? (How Should Medical Education Be Planned for Medical Students' Future?)

  • This study focused on investigating the future medicine and health care industry paradigm shift and suggesting the right direction for the medical education system in order for students to be better prepared in the near future. Here, I will discuss four issues related to the future of medicine: Health 2.0, digital health, personalized medicine, and innovations of the public healthcare system. Every issue has lessons for medical education and teaching for students who major in health professions. However, it is obvious that the present is an important period of time as, currently, we are at an early stage in the future health care environment. Recently, there have been rapid transformations in various fields of medicine. Therefore, if we fail to lead medical education in the right direction, medical students will suffer from major problems in coping with these changes.

  • 초 중 고등학교의 컴퓨터의 보급이 증가함에 따라 컴퓨터를 이용한 수업이 증가하고 있다. 컴퓨터를 사용한 수업이 여러 가지 장점이 있으나, 학생들을 통제할 수 없다는 단점도 있다. 수업을 위해 강의 홈페이지에 접속할 때, 교수자의 위치에서는 학습자의 모니터를 볼 수 없기 때문에 강의 홈페이지가 아닌 다른 웹사이트에 접속을 하여도 이를 통제할 수가 없다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터를 이용한 수업을 보다 효율적으로 하기 위한, Client/Server에 기반한 효율적인 원격 학습 교육 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

Mortality of Major Cancers in Guangxi, China: Sex, Age and Geographical Differences from 1971 and 2005

  • The incidence and mortality rates of liver and nasopharyngeal cancer in Guangxi province of China have always been among the highest in the world, and cancer is one of the major diseases that pose a threat to the health of residents in Guangxi. However, no systematic study has been performed to evaluate the time trends in the structure of cancer-related deaths and cancer mortality. In this study, we reveal sex, age and geography differences of cancers mortality between three death surveys (1971 to 1973, 1990 to 1992, and 2004 to 2005). The results show that the standardized mortality rate of cancer in Guangxi residents has risen from 43.3/100,000 to 84.2/100,000, the share of cancer deaths in all-cause deaths has increased from 13.3% to 20.7%, and cancer has become the second most common cause of death. The five major cancers, liver cancer, lung cancer, gastric cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer and colorectal cancer, account for 60% of all the cancer deaths. Cancers with growing mortality rates over the past 30 years include lung cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer and female breast cancer, of which lung cancer is associated with the sharpest rise in mortality, with a more than 600% rise in both men and women. Cancer death in Guangxi residents occurs mainly in the elderly population above 45 years of age, especially in people over the age of 65. The areas with the highest mortality rates for liver cancer and nasopharyngeal cancer, which feature regional high incidences, include Chongzuo and Wuzhou. Therefore, for major cancers such as liver cancer, lung cancer, gastric cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer and female breast cancer in Guangxi, we can select high-risk age groups as the target population for cancer prevention and control efforts in high-prevalence areas in a bid to achieve the ultimate goal of lowering cancer mortality in Guangxi.

학교급식 조리종사자의 근무경력에 따른 식품위생 교육효과에 대한 연구 (Effects of Sanitary Education Administered to Elementary and Middle School Foodservice Employees with Work Experience)

  • This study evaluated the effects of sanitary education administered to elementary and middle school foodservice employees with work experience. The subjects of this study were 360 school foodservice employees in Gyeonggi-do during August, 2010. Sanitary education and awareness were assessed using three major dimensions: food sanitation (six items), personal hygiene (five items), and environmental sanitation (three items). Each dimension was categorized according to several items in the form of a self-evaluated Likert 5 point scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS WIN Version 12.0 package. The results showed that employees who worked for 5~10 years in the foodservice industry scored better in three dimensions before sanitary education compared to other groups. After sanitary education, all employees scored better in food sanitation than before, and employees who worked less than 5 years scored better at personal hygiene dimension than other groups. For environmental sanitation, employees who worked for 5~10 years scored better than other groups. Employees who worked for more than 10 years scored worse before and after sanitary education but scored highest for sanitary awareness. Employees between the ages of 31 and 40 showed significantly different scores before and after sanitary education.

대학구조개혁정책의 쟁점과 대응 과제에 관한 연구 - 학령인구 감소에 대한 새로운 대학구조개혁 패러다임 탐색 - (Major Issues of University Restructuring Policy and Discussion for New Alternatives)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the number of university entrants influenced by the population decline of school age, to discuss the major issues of university restructuring policy initiated by government, and to suggest the mid- to long-term policy agenda on university restructuring. According to the analysis of university enrollment changes, university enrollment quota will decrease to 29% of year 2013. And the ratio of private university enrollment and the entrants of universities in the metropolitan areas will increase. Under these circumstances, it is highly concerned that high school graduates will be more concentrated to private universities located in the metropolitan areas. The government policy on university restructuring have several problems on the direction, the pursuing strategies, and the negative impacts of it. This study suggested the new paradigm for the university development and also the alternative strategies such as the balanced development in universities, financial support system, school-to-work policy, university collaboration system, and an enactment of university development.

SW교육에 대한 대학 비전공자의 인식과 경험 탐색: CQR을 중심으로 (Exploring perception and experience of non-majors about SW education using CQR)

  • 본 연구는 비전공자 대상의 대학 SW교육에서 학습자들의 인식과 경험을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 D대학에서 SW교육에 참여하고 있는 비전공자 학생 36명의 성찰일지를 합의적 질적연구방법(CQR)에 의거하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, SW교육에 대한 비전공자 학생들의 인식과 경험에 대한 응답에서 연구에 참여한 모든 학생들에게 공통적으로 나타나는 일반적 범주나 50% 이상의 학습자에게 나타나는 전형적인 범주는 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 다양한 변동적인 범주를 핵심개념으로 도출할 수 있었다. SW교육에 대한 비전공자 학생들의 경험과 인식은 각각 57개와 7개의 변동적 개념이 도출되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 대학 비전공자 학생들의 SW교육에서의 경험은 생소함으로 인한 어려움을 느끼고 있다는 것과 학습활동을 통해 SW과의 관련성과 유용성을 인식한다는 특성을 발견할 수 있었다. 또한, SW교육에서 비전공자 학생들의 인식의 경우 초보자의 수준을 고려한 맞춤형 교육에 대해 긍정적인 평가를 한다는 특성을 가지고 있었다. 그러므로 비전공자 대상의 SW교육의 방법은 세심한 수업 운영전략과 상호작용 설계가 필요하다. 본 연구는 보다 효과적인 비전공자 대상의 대학 소프트웨어 교육을 위한 교수학습전략을 위한 시사점들을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

진로교육 차원에서 고등학생의 전공적합성 탐색을 위한 프로그램 개발: 고등학교 가정교과-생활과학대학 전공 연계를 중심으로 (Development of Program to Facilitate High School Students' Search for Potential College Majors and Future Career as Career Education: Focusing on Connection between High School Home Economics and College of Human Ecology Majors)

  • 다원화된 현대 사회에서 청소년은 변화하는 사회현상을 비판적으로 바라보고, 주어진 환경과 자원을 적극적으로 활용해 진로를 결정할 수 있는 진로개발역량을 필요로 한다. 따라서 청소년들에게 진로개발역량 교육을 제공해야 하지만, 학교현장의 교육은 학벌에 치중한 진학지도와 직업교육에 불과한 진로지도에 머물러 있다. 그 결과, 고등학교와 대학 간의 학습 연속성이 단절되었고 대학 입학 후 학생들의 학업부적응과 중도탈락을 초래하였다. 그러므로 고등학교-대학의 연계를 통해 고등학생의 전공적합성 함양을 위한 새로운 패러다임의 진로교육을 개발해야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 생활과학대학 교수, 가정과 전문가, 생활과학 전공 대학생, 고교생의 협력으로 고등학교 가정교과와 생활과학대학이 연계된 진로교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학생의 진로개발 역량강화를 위한 프로그램의 방향을 탐색하였다. 둘째, 프로그램은 생활과학 분야의 각 학문 영역별 최신이슈를 고등학생이 쉽게 접하고 탐구할 수 있도록 구성하여 고등학생의 전공적합성 함양을 목표로 하였다. 셋째, 고등학교-생활과학대학 협력체가 운영주체인 본 진행하는 교수 학습 자료를 구성하였다. 넷째, 본 프로그램은 생활과학분야 전공에 흥미가 있는 학생들이 전공적합성을 확인할 기회가 될 것이다.

4차 산업혁명시대 공학계열 학습자 맞춤형 의사소통교육의 필요성과 방향에 관한 연구 (A Research on the Necessity and the direction of customized Communication Education for Engineering students in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution)

  • This research points out the necessity of customized communication education for engineering students in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This paper also points out such problems of current communication education as presentation and discussion-focused 'Public Speech' exercises, absence of interests about social issues, and lack of interactive communication learning. In general, as the characteristics of their major education, engineering students are not aggressive in self-questioning and active communication rather than their sensitive reaction to the changes of the new era. Considering these characteristics of engineering students, this research emphasizes that future communication education should be deployed from the major-focused thinking to the development of convergent thinking, from the problem-solving to the problem-finding, and from the contentious thinking to the cooperative thinking. In addition, as a class design reflecting future trends, this research emphasizes, firstly the development of cooperative communication education model, secondly active utilization of SMART technology, and lastly the importance of customized-coaching for each student considering their own characteristics and requirements.
