  • The purpose of this study is to find out the changes on the metropolitan apartment unit plans based on the interior spaces for women such as master bedroom, bathroom and attached spaces to the master bedroom, living room, diningroom, kitchen, utility room, and balcony. This study used the content analysis method, space syntax. Contents were the floor plans with 3 rooms type and limited to about $105m^2$ among drawings of an apartment encyclopedia. Above all, 174 unit plans were analyzed until now. Specifically, using $S^3$-Convex program, the integration and control value periodically of the interior spaces for women(master bedroom, bathroom and attached spaces to the master bedroom, living room, diningroom, kitchen, utility room) is understood. Second, using SPSS package 16.0, relative size of the interior spaces for women on the unit floor plan is understood periodically. Finally, the changes on the apartment unit plans based on a woman' aspect after 1980's is reanalyzed.

  • This study was to find out users' satisfaction on the dormitory of high school in Jeonju City and to propose it's physical environmental improvement directions. This was performed by a questionnaire survey method, and the questionnaire was designed by researchers considering relative literatures. Data were collected from 200 students, who had been dwelling 4 high school dormitories in Jeonju City. By analyzing those data, findings were as follows: 1) Users of students were satisfied the whole of their dormitory; facilities, spaces, and living. 2) They were highly concerned about a library and a personal unit space in their dormitory. 3) They needed their personal unit space to be designed bedroom+bathroom type with 2 persons' sharing and be equipped one story bed and desk furniture. Also, they needed improvement on heating & cooling, small space and indoor air quality of unit space. 4) The users' satisfaction on unit space were 2.88, and their satisfaction of the technical factor was 2.71 that was the lowest score in them. And The functional factor was highly effected their satisfaction. 5) The space utility and the space size of functional factor, the soundproof, the heating/ventilation and the indoor quality of technical factor, and the privacy of behavior factor were highly correlative to their satisfaction of unit space.

  • This study was conducted to apply the modular construction method to Han-ok. The modular method, which is differentiated from the existing one, means a construction method that equipments, windows and interior materials are prefabricated as a six-sided object at a plant and then they are assembled at the least process on the spot. As for the theoretical observation, the theoretical basis to apply the modular method to the modular housing and Hanok was divided into environmental and economic aspect. In order to apply the modular method to Hanok, the unit scale and size were selected and the plane of unit module Hanok was developed. And a standard with regard to the unit combination and material lifting transportation method was set and planned. In addition, through the comparison the unit modular Hanok to the existing Hanok, the difference was analyzed and the strength was identified in terms fo design method, structure, construction method, period and cost. In final, the conclusion, with regard to the economic, technical application in future, was drawn through arranging the study contents. The unit modular Hanok to carry out the high-quality dwelling through construction period reduction, standardized construction materials and improved insulation performance can meet the demands for a paradigm of new construction technology.

  • We investigated the actual usefulness of bathrooms in individuals living in apartment. We performed a randomized matched questionaire study involving 487 individuals who use a unit-bathroom and live in apartment in Taegu and it's rural cities for the period from May to June, 2000. Most of the individuals used bathroom for washing behavior of daily living, such as, washing hands, feet, face, and hair, except bathing, Almost all the individuals reported some complaints about the height and size of wash-stand when they wash face or hair, And most of the individuals does not use the bath-tube when they shower or bathe.

  • Side scan sonar System occupies an important position as one of marine survey equipments. The purpose of this research is to express sonar' scan images in underwater and compare with the measured size, shape and the quality of the material. Also we confirm the effectiveness of obtained images using the Side scan sonar.

  • Distribution of tracer particles in carrier conform to Poisson distribution and the effect of Poisson distribution on mixing uniformity can be reduced by increasing the tracer particle number per unit weight. In this paper, above-mentioned theory has been demonstrated by using three kinds of rotor whose pitches are different.

  • This paper develops a standard time table using STD(Standard Tine Data) Technique in multi-product and one-unit production systems. STD leads to greater consistency between similar jobs. The constant-time and special elements will always be the same even though they pertain to different part numbers. Actually, the standards will very based on the size of the variable elements that are in control of the time. A real-field example is presented.
