유도결합형 플라즈마원을 이용한 고선택비 산화막 식각에 관한 연구 (A Study on the High Selective Oxide Etching using Inductively Coupled Plasma Source)

  • In developing the high density memory device, the etching of fine pattern is becoming increasingly important. Therefore, definition of ultra fine line and space pattern and minimization of damage and contamination are essential process. Also, the high density plasma in low operating pressure is necessary. The candidates of high density plasma sources are electron cyclotron resonance plasma, helicon wave plasma, helical resonator, and inductively coupled plasma. In this study, planar type magnetized inductively coupled plasma etcher has been built. The density and temperature of Ar plasma are measured as a function of rf power, flow rate, external magnetic field, and pressure. The oxide etch rate and selectivity to polysilicon are measured as the above mentioned conditions and self-bias voltage.

  • 본 논문에서는 초저온 냉동고용 단상유도전동기의 기동전류저감을 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 단상유도전동기의 경우, 스스로 기동이 불가능하므로 다양한 기동방식을 채택하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 커패시터 기동-운전 방식을 사용하고 있으며, 이 경우 기동 시 정격전류의 수배에 해당되는 돌입전류가 발생한다. 이로 인해 커패시터 및 기동 보조장치의 운전성능 및 수명 감소에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본문에서는 기존 운전방식의 변경 없이 단상 인버터를 적용하여 기동전류를 저감하고 운전모드를 전환하는 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 알고리즘의 효용성은 다양한 실험을 통해서 검증한다.

HIGHT 암복호화 병렬 실행을 위한 Key Scheduler 설계 (Design of a Key Scheduler for Supporting the Parallel Encryption and Decryption Processes of HIGHT)

  • HIGHT is an 64-bit block cipher, which is suitable for low power and ultra-light implementation that are used in the network that needs the consideration of security aspects. This paper presents a parallel key scheduler that generates the whitening keys and subkeys simultaneously for both encryption and decryption processes. We construct the reverse LFSR and key generation blocks to generate the keys for decryption process. Then, the new key scheduler is made by sharing the common logics for encryption and decryption processes to minimize the increase in hardware complexity. From the simulation results, the logic size is increased 1.31 times compared to the conventional HIGHT. However, the performance of HIGHT including the proposed key scheduler can be increased by two times compared to the conventional counterpart.

  • The purpose of this reserch is the development of 406MHz satellite EPIRB terminals which is used on Cospas/Sarsat system. This equipment is essencial facility in all vessel due to should be equipped according to GMDSS. This 406MHz satellite EPIRB needs high technology of complicated. Because, this is designed to operate stably with ultra-stability oscillator and with the low power consumption so that can operate continually for 48 hours by the contained battery. The development of this equipment is significant in the sides of acquirement of new technology on satellite communication fields. In this research, we investigated the international and domestic regulations of needed. Because this equipment is international system concerned with life of man. So, we designed the adequate hardwares and softwares from this research. From this research, we developed the equipment with appopriate capability for productions, and much more research is needed to develop the more small size more chip one for production.

선형 유도기 구동 방식 공기 베어링 스테이지에 관한 연구 (Study on the Air-bearing Stage Driven by Linear Induction Motors)

  • Linear induction motor is adopted as an actuator of the planar stage. An inherently poor characteristic at zero or ultra-low speed zone of the induction motor is remarkably improved due to a recent development of power electronic semiconductor technology and a spatial vector control theory. At present, a servo response speed of the induction motor reaches 90 percent of one of PM synchronous or BLDC motor. Specially, as a secondary of the induction motor can be constructed using uniform conducting sheets, there is no periodic force ripple as in PM motors. So, the induction motor can be superior to another driving means under a certain condition. This paper discusses the overall development procedure of non-contact planar stage with a big workspace using linear induction motors.

  • Cellulose based Electro-Active Papers (EAPap) is very promising material due to its merits in terms of large bending deformation, low actuation voltage, ultra-lightweight, and biodegradability. These advantages make it possible to utilize applications, such as artificial muscles and achieving flapping wings, micro-insect robots and smart wall papers. This paper investigates the in-plane strains of EAPap under electric fields, which are useful for a contractile actuator application The preparation of EAPap samples and the in-plane strain measurement system are explained, and the test results are shown in terms of electric field, frequency and the oriental ions of the samples. The power consumption and the strain energy of EAPap samples are discussed. Although there are still unknown facts in EAPap material, this in-plane strain may be useful for artificial muscle applications.

  • 센서네트워크 시스템에서 배터리 대신 에너지 수확기법을 이용할 경우 획득할 수 있는 에너지는 제한적이기 때문에 기존의 방식에는 한계가 따른다. 본 논문에서는 이를 극복하기 위한 방안을 제시하고 이를 이용한 에너지 수확 기법에 기반 한 초저전력 센서네트워크 시스템을 구현하여 그 성능을 평가해 보았다.

  • This paper presents the architecture design, implement, experimental validation of a bistatic backscatter wireless communication system in Wi-Fi network. The operating principle is to communicate a tag's data by detecting the power level of the power modulated Wi-Fi packets to be reflected or absorbed by backscatter tag, in interconnecting with Wi-Fi device and Wi-Fi AP. This system is able to provide the identification and sensor data of tag on the internet connectivity without requiring extra device for reading data, because this uses an existing Wi-Fi AP infrastructure. The backscatter tag consists of Wi-Fi energy harvesting part and a backscatter transmitter/a power-detecting receiver part. This tag can operate by harvesting and generating energy from Wi-Fi signal power. Wi-Fi device decodes information of the tag data by recognizing the power level of the backscattered Wi-Fi packets. Wi-Fi device receives the backscattered Wi-Fi packets and generates the tag's data pattern in the time-series of channel state information (CSI) values. We believe that this system can be achieved wireless connectivity for ultra- low-power IoT and wearable device.

CCVT의 2차 전압 보상 방법 (Compensation of the Secondary Voltage of a Coupling Capacitor Voltage Transformer)

  • A coupling capacitor voltage transformer(CCVT) is used in an extra or ultra high voltage system to obtain the standard low voltage signal for protection. To avoid the phase angle error between the primary and secondary voltages, a tuning reactor is connected between a capacitor and a voltage transformer. The inductance of the reactor is designed based on the power system frequency. If a fault occurs on the power system, the secondary voltage of the CCVT contains some errors due to a dc offset component and harmonic components resulting from the fault. The errors become severe in the case of a close-in fault. This paper proposes an algorithm for compensating the secondary voltage of a CCVT in the time-domain. From the measured secondary voltage of the CCVT, the secondary and primary currents are obtained; then the voltage across the capacitor and the inductor is calculated and then added to the measured secondary voltage to obtain the correct primary voltage. Test results indicate that the proposed algorithm can compensate the distorted secondary voltage of the CCVT irrespective of the fault distance, the fault inception angle, and the burden of the CCVT.

이산화탄소 배출을 최소화하는 용융탄산염 연료전지 하이브리드 시스템들의 성능 비교 (Performance Comparison of Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell Hybrid Systems Minimizing Carbon Dioxide Emissions)

  • Interests in fuel cell based power generation systems are on the steady rise owing to various advantages such as high efficiency, ultra low emission, and potential to achieve a very high efficiency by a synergistic combination with conventional heat engines. In this study, the performance of a hybrid system which combined a molten carbonate fuel cell (MCFC) and an indirectly fired micro gas turbine adopting carbon dioxide capture technologies was predicted. Commercialized 2.5 MW class MCFC system was used as the based system so that the result of this study could reflect practicality. Three types of ambient pressure hybrid systems were devised: one adopting post-combustion capture and two adopting oxy-combustion capture. One of the oxy-combustion based system is configured as a semi-closed type, while the other is an open cycle type. The post-combustion based system exhibited higher net power output and efficiency than the oxy-combustion based systems. However, the semi-closed system using oxy-combustion has the advantage of capturing almost all carbon dioxide.
