RMR과 암석종류가 터널 천공속도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of RMR and rock type on tunnel drilling speed)

  • NATM 공법을 이용한 터널굴착 시 발파공 천공 및 장약 작업은 전체 터널 굴착 시간의 30% 이상을 차지하는 중요한 과정이다. 최근에는 이 공정을 활용하여 천공작업 도중 얻어지는 타격압, 천공속도 등을 바탕으로 터널 굴착면 전방의 지반상태, RMR 등을 예측하는 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 하지만 선행 연구들은 대부분 화강암으로 대표되는 화성암질 지반에 대해서만 수행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 유사한 RMR의 범위를 가지는 화성암의 천공속도를 퇴적암(특히, 역암, 사암 및 셰일)의 천공속도와 비교/분석하였으며, 유사한 RMR 값을 가지는 암이라 하더라도 암질 종류에 따라서 천공속도가 크게 달라질 수 있음을 확인하였다. 퇴적암에서의 천공속도가 화성암에서의 속도보다 더 빨랐으며, 또한 화성암의 경우 천공속도와 RMR등급에 따른 천공속도의 차이는 거의 없는 것에 반하여, 퇴적암의 경우는 RMR등급이 낮아질수록 천공속도는 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV) or dynamic vulcanizates are thermoplastic elastomers produced by simultaneous mixing and crosslinking of a rubber and a thermoplastic. The objective of the present work is to investigate the effects of different types of peroxides as curing agents on the properties of PP/EPDM TPVs. The mechanical properties change significantly with the chemical nature of the peroxides and the extent of crosslinking at a fixed PP/EPDM blend ratio. The tensile strength of the TPVs obtained with the various peroxides can be related to the solubility parameters of the polymers and of the peroxides. The Young's modulus of the peroxide-cured TPVs can be correlated with the delta torque values of equivalent thermoset EPDM vulcanizates, corresponding to the crosslinking efficiencies of the peroxides.

  • This paper presents two social and academic studies on the boundary between cultural production and consumption. The first line of the study on cultural omnivore analyzes the choice of heterogeneous audiences in the face of various cultural offerings. The second line is a study of market categories, which analyzes the responses of peer audiences to objects with different levels of category code compliance. As such, this paper developed a heterogeneous audience model to evaluate objects of different types. This allows us to consider two dimensions of cultural preference: diversity and orientation of selection. To this end, this paper proposes a new analytical frame work to map consumption behavior on these two dimensions. The results suggest that one type of target that values diversity and transformation is particularly resistant to those that span boundaries. We test this argument in the analysis of two large data sets on film and restaurant reviews. Overall, our findings can extend beyond cultural consumption. Outline variability of contextual individuals or individuals in the same situation can cross cultural boundaries even if they are not intentionally pursuing such hybridism.

  • A new variety of non-self generalized proximal contraction, called Hardy-Rogers α+F-proximal contraction, is shown in this work. Also, with an example, we prove that such contractions satisfying some conditions must have a unique best proximity point. For some particular values of the constants, that we have used to generalize the proximal contraction, we conclude different α+F-proximal contraction results of the types Ćirić, Chatterjea, Reich, Kannan, and Banach with proof, that all such type of contractions must have unique best proximity point. We also apply our result to solve a functional equation.

풍혈의 환경 특성과 식물지리적 가치 (Environmental Characteristics of Wind-Hole and Phytogeographical Values)

  • Present work aims to establish an integrated management system of environmental data base for nine typical wind holes or air holes in Korea. It basically deals with definition, geographical distribution, morphological pattern, physical characteristics and anthropogenic environments of wind hole to propose systematic preservation strategy of their periglacial landscape and flora, which are known to be sensitive to global warming. Wind hole, in which cool air blows out during the summer, but mild air comes out during the winter from a cave or hole, is frequently found on northwest- and north-facing slopes on the terminal point of steep talus, block field, and block stream, and can be categorized into three types, i.e., talus, cave and sink types. Environmental characteristics of nine wind holes are analyzed on the basis of their geology, landform, climate, soil, hydrology, vegetation, road, footpath, land-use, and management system, and relevant DB are prepared. Wind hole areas with unique landscape and ecological values need to be designated as a nature reserve, and zoning of core, buffer, and transitional zones are required for the multi-dimensional preservation of periglacial landscape and ecosystem. Phytogeographical values of glacial relict plants, including mountain cranberry(Vaccinium vitis-idaea) at its global southernmost limit at Bangnaeri wind hole, Hongchon County, Gangwon Province of Korea are discussed in detail as a floristic refugia in connection with climate change during the Pleistocene Epoch and potential in-situ and ex-situ preservation sites in the future.

Evaluation of CPU And RAM Performance for Markerless Augmented Reality

  • Augmented Reality (AR) is an emerging technology and a vibrant field, it has become common in application development, especially in smartphone applications (mobile phones). The AR technology has grown increasingly during the past decade in many fields. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the optimal approach to building the final product by evaluating the performance of each of them separately at a specific task. In this work we evaluated overall CPU and RAM performance for several types of Markerless Augmented Reality applications by using a multiple-objects in mobile development. The results obtained are show that the objects with fewer number of vertices performs steady and not oscillating. Object was superior to the rest of the others is sphere, which is performs better values when processed, its values closer to the minimum CPU and RAM usage.

노년기 삶의 만족도에 관한 연구 - 자원봉사활동 집단과 경제활동집단의 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Satisfaction with Life for the Elderly - Comparison Study of volunteer work group and economic activities group -)

  • 본 연구는 노년기의 활동 유형을 자원봉사 활동과 경제활동으로 구분하여 각 집단의 사회인구학적인 변인과 가치관이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 60세 이상의 노인으로 활동 유형별로 질문지를 구분하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자원봉사활동 집단은 총201명(남성 76명, 36.8%, 여성 125명, 62.2%), 경제활동 집단은 총219명(남성 127명, 58.0%, 여성 92명, 42.0%)이다. 구체적인 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 14.0 Windows 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, 평균, 표준편차, 요인분석, 적률 상관관계, t-test, 일원변량 분석, 위계적 중다회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과로 노년기 활동 유형별 자원봉사 활동 집단에서는 집단주의 가치관이 높을수록 그리고 종교가 있는 노인 집단과 인지적인 건강 상태가 양호할수록 삶의 만족도를 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 경제활동 집단에서는 집단주의 가치관이 높을수록 그리고 월평균 수입이 많고, 인지적 건강상태가 양호할수록 삶의 만족도를 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 두 활동 유형 모두 집단주의 가치관이 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 공통변인임이 입증되었다. 즉, 연령이 증가할수록 전통적인 성향의 집단주의 가치관이 더욱 두드러지는 경향으로 나타났으며, 경제활동 집단보다 자원봉사활동 집단에서 보다 더 높은 집단적인 가치관이 표현되었고, 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 삶의 질을 높이고, 만족감을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안으로 자원봉사 활동의 다양한 종류가 개발되고, 운영될 수 있는 체계적 시스템이 구축되어야 할 것이다.

인력물자취급시 작업빈도에 따른 생리적 작업능력의 연구 (A Study of the Effect of Work Frequency on Physical Work Capacity for Manual Materials Handling Tasks)

  • The objective of this study was to make comparison of the physical work capacities(PWCs) for three different types of tasks. For this purpose, an ergometer exercise, a treadmill exercise, and lifting activities with four different frequencies (2, 5, 8, 11 lifts/min) for the lifting range from floor to 76cm were considered. Oxygen consumption rates and heart rates were measured during the exercises and lifting activities. The PWC values for ergometer exercise test was $2562.71ml-O_2/min$ and the one for treadmill exercise was $2874.89ml-O_2/min$. The value of lifting PWC increased from $1774.07ml-O_2/min$ to $2296.76ml-O_2/min$ as the lifting frequency increased from 2 to 11 lifts/min. The ratio of the lifting PWCs to the ergometer PWC increased from 69.36% to 89.77% as the lifting frequency increased. To the treadmill PWC, the ratio increased from 62.21% to 85.24% as the lifting frequency increased. From this result, it appears that the PWCs based on the lifting tasks rather than PWCs by ergometer or treadmill exercise should be considered to determine the physiological criterion for safe weights for lifting tasks. Therefore, the physiological criteria of the NIOSH Guideline should be reexamined.

Curvilinear free-edge form effect on stability of perforated laminated composite plates

  • In this study, self-supporting roofing elements especially convenient for large-span structures such as stadium, airport terminal, mall, coliseum, etc. were examined with respect to critical buckling load. These elements were assumed as laminated composite plates and, variation of free-edge forms, cutout types and lamination configurations were used as design parameters. Based on the architectural feature and structural requirements, the effects of curvilinear free-edge form on critical buckling load were focused on in this research. Within this scope, 14 types of lamination configuration were specified according to various orientation angle, number and thickness of plies with a constant value of total plate thickness. Besides that, 6 different types of cutout and 3 different free-edge forms were determined. By combining all these parameters 294 different critical buckling load analyses were performed by using ANSYS Mechanical software based on finite element method. Effects of those parameters on critical buckling load were evaluated referring to the obtained results. According to the results presented here, it may be concluded that lamination conditions have more significant influence on the critical buckling load values than the other parameters. On the other hand, it is perceived that curvilinear free-edge forms explicitly undergo changings depending on lamination conditions. For future work, existence of delamination might be considered and progression of the defect could be investigated by using non-linear analysis.
