  • In this paper, we propose a method for obtaining state-space realization form of two-dimensional transfer function matrices (2DTFM). It contains free parameters. And, we perform various consideration about it. Moreover, we present the conditions so that the state-space realization form exists.

  • In this paper, we introduce a two-dimensional modulation code for holographic data storage systems(HDSS), which is a candidate for the next generation data storage system. The two-dimensional(2D) intersymbol interference(ISI) induces higher bit error rate(BER). The balanced number of zeros(dark) and ones(light) in each page reduces inter-page interference(IPI). The code rate is 519. Although the proposed code has higher code rate than other 2D code with rate 4/9, the BER performances of two codes are similar.

  • Automatic modulation recognition is the core algorithm in the field of modulation classification in communication systems. Our investigations show that deep learning (DL) based modulation recognition techniques have achieved effective progress for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. However, network complexity is always an additional burden for high-accuracy classifications, which makes it impractical. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a low-complexity dimensional interactive lightweight network (DilNet) for MIMO systems. Specifically, the signals received by different antennas are cooperatively input into the network, and the network calculation amount is reduced through the depth-wise separable convolution. A two-dimensional interactive attention (TDIA) module is designed to extract interactive information of different dimensions, and improve the effectiveness of the cooperation features. In addition, the TDIA module ensures low complexity through compressing the convolution dimension, and the computational burden after inserting TDIA is also acceptable. Finally, the network is trained with a penalized statistical entropy loss function. Simulation results show that compared to existing modulation recognition methods, the proposed DilNet dramatically reduces the model complexity. The dimensional interactive lightweight network trained by penalized statistical entropy also performs better for recognition accuracy in MIMO systems.

  • Virtual reality environment system is expected to be used as a new user interface tool oweing to its high immersiveness and high interactivity. To use VR interface effectively, we should identify the characteristics of the three-dimensional control tasks as if we did in two-dimensional graphic user interface environments. As a first step, we validated Fitts'law for the three-dimensional pointing tasks with the two input devices, Spaceball and Spacemouse.   • A Robot system to realize a painting using a writing brush is explained here. Based on the three-dimensional data about the target china, the movements of the writing brush is determined. The movement is realized by the movement of two robot manipulators which move coordinatedly. Experimental results reveals the applicability of one system.

  • We suggests an effective method to construct time-varying C-obstacles in the 3-dimensional configuration space (C-space) using free arc. The concept of free arc was defined mathematically and the procedure to find free arc in the case off-dimensional C-space was derived in [1]. We showed that time-varying C-obstacles can be constructed efficiently using this concept, and presented simulation results for two SCARA robot manipulators to verify the efficacy of the proposed approach. In this paper, extensions of this approach to the 3-dimensional C-space is introduced since nearly all industrial manipulators are reasonably treated ill the too or three dimensional C-space f3r collision avoidance problem The free arc concept is summarized briefly and the method to find lice arc in the 3-dimensional f-space is explained. To show that this approach enables us to solve a practical collision avoidance problem simulation results f3r two PUMA robot manipulators are presented.

  • We have fabricated the two-dimensional inverted pendulum system and designed its controller. The two-dimensional inverted pendulum system, which is composed of X-Y table, is actuated through timing belt by each of two geared DC motors. And the control goal is that the rod is always kept to a vertical position to any distrubance and is quickly moved to the desired position. Because this system has generally nonlinear dynamic characteristics and X-axis and Y-axis move together, it is very difficult to find its exact mathematical model and to design its controller. Therefore, we have designed the PID controller with simple structure and excellent performance. Genetic algorithm(GA), which is blown as one of probabilistic searching methods, and human's heuristic control strategy are introduced to design an optimal PID controller. The usefulness of the proposed GA based PID coefficient searching technique is verified through the experiments and computer simulations.

  • Coulomb drag is an effective probe into interlayer interaction between two electron systems in close proximity. For example, it can be a measure of momentum, phonon, or energy transfer between the two systems. The most exotic phenomenon would be when bosonic indirect excitons (electron-hole pairs) are formed in double layer systems where electrons and holes are populated in the opposite layers. In this review, we present various drag phenomena observed in different double layer electron systems, e.g. GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructures and two-dimensional material based heterostructures. In particular, we address the different behavior of Coulomb drag depending on its origin such as momentum or energy transfer between the two layers and exciton condensation. We also discuss why it is difficult to achieve electron-hole pairs in double layer electron systems in equilibrium.

  • As two dimensional bar code can collect data and information quickly, it is used and recognized as a useful tool for the many industrial application field. But the information capacity of two dimensional bar code is still limited. Recently, the two dimensional AD bar code (analog-digital code) that can increase its application range and overcome capacity limitation is developed. In this paper, we implement an effective system which can transform text information into voice using two dimensional AD bar code and TTS(Text To Speech). It can be transmitted to blind people by capturing the AD bar code on the papers or the books.
