The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of cooperative making problems and solving problems for formative assessment at finish stage on science academic achievement and scientific attitude. This study is conducted in 51 sixth-graders of two classes. The experimental group was provided with a teaching-learning course based on cooperative making problem and solving problem at finish stage. And the control group was provided with general classes based on the contents in teacher's guidebooks. The experiment was performed with the second and third units of the sixth grade, for about two month and obtained the following results: First, students prefer to make supply-type items than multiple choices. And by the Bloom's revised taxonomy of educational objectives, students prefer to make the problem types of 'Factual Knowledge' and 'Conceptual Knowledge'. Also students prefer to make the problem types of 'Understanding' and 'Applying'. Second, cooperative problem making and solving problems at finish stage has same effect on academic achievement in comparison to teacher-driven activity. Third, the experimental group made statistically significant difference in self-efficiency, contrary to the general science classes. Especially, it turned out that a meaningful effect was discovered to a cooperativity, openness. Finally, it turned out that many students thought cooperative making problem and solving problem at finish stage gave the help approving their cooperativity and openness at the investigation of awareness.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore the effectiveness of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education program on the use of specific food groups in improving nutrition-related knowledge and attitude, dietary behavior, creative problem solving, and STEAM attitude. Methods: We selected two classes at a kindergarten in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. A total of 44 kindergarteners from the two classrooms participated in this study. The experimental group and the control group were formed with 22 students each. The experimental group attended 11 STEAM classes on the use of the grain, fruit, and milk food groups. First, we performed the paired t-test to examine changes from pre-to-post classes for both groups. Then, we used ANCOVA to compare post-test scores between the experimental and control groups with the adjustment of pre-test scores. Results: The results demonstrate that the STEAM education program on the use of the food groups significantly improved (1) nutrition-related knowledge and attitude, and dietary behavior (P < 0.001), (2) creative problem solving (P < 0.001), and (3) STEAM attitude (P < 0.001) in the intervention group when compared with the control group. Conclusions: The STEAM education program on the use of food groups is effective in enhancing nutrition knowledge and attitude, dietary behavior, creative problem solving, and STEAM attitudes among kindergarten students.
We study the multifractal spectrum of two dimensionally indexed classes whose members are distribution sets of a self-similar attractor in the unit interval.
Proved that the two topoloies(spectral topology and D−topology) coincide on SpecR, MaxR and MinspecR iff R is complemented, normal and stone ADL respectively.

Under the coordination of GKSS a new European project in the field of membrane development started recently. This project focuses on the development of novel nanostructured materials for selective material transport and separation. Two classes of materials will be developed in this project: nanostructured organic/inorganic hybrid materials and functional self-organized supramolecular copolymers.(omitted)
In this paper we introduce two classes of modules namely e-symmetric and e-reduced. Also, we study the characterizations of e-symmetric and e-reduced modules and their related properties.
Using the concept of bounded boundary rotation, we investigate various properties of two new generalized classes of spirallike and Robertson functions of complex order with bounded boundary rotations.

We comment on a new testing procedure for testing exponentiality against different ageing classes. We show that the proposed test is inappropriate at least for two alternatives. We point out the subtle flaw in their argument.
