A try was carried out to reduce lead time of die manufacturing. That is to make manual machining and finishing work time shorter by improving CAD/CAM modeling methods, so called with "separate modeling" and "relief modeling". The manual machining and finishing manual work time were reduced adapting the novel CAD/CAM modeling methods. Ultimately we accomplished much reduction of the lead time of die manufacturing.f die manufacturing.

A Simultaneous optimal design of structural and control system of a semi-active suspension is applied on a helf-car model in this paper. Suspension stiffnesses and dampings are selected as structural design parameters and damping forces of variable dampers as controller parameters. Sence this optimization problem is of large discontinuous space, conventional exhaustive methods are not enough. So we here try out an approach using Genetic Algorithm for our problem. Through numerical simulation work, the performance of the simultaneously optimized system was tested and showed meaningful improvement over the partially optimized ones.

Recentadvancesin '-omics ' technologies enable us to discover more diverse disease- relevant target proteins, which encourages us to find out more target-specific novel lead compounds as new drug candidates. Therefore, high-throughput screening (HTS) becomes an essential tool in this area. Among many HTS tools, in silico HTS is a very fast and cost-effective tool to try to derive a new lead compound for any new targets, especially when the target protein structures are known or readily modeled. They try to explain Tang's medical conception and local experiences by quoting the text from "Hyuljeungron", Blood syndrome essay. This trend is very different from study methods carried out in Korea.

The EMI filter used in switching apparatus is designed on the basis of personal designer experience. A try and error approach leads to a considerables waste of time without assurance to come out to a good solution. The difficulty in the right choice of the component values resides on the dominant role played by their parasitic components at high frequencies and is aggravated by the poor knowledge of the internal impedance of the noise generators. In this paper, we proposed the design technique for the EMI filter effectively using the LISN and the EMI analyzer in the industrial field.

The exploitable efficiency of UHP is very important in a projection system. We always use lens array for light shaping and energy distribution transformation in conventional projection system. Because of the limitation of arc gap and F/# of elements, the utilize efficiency is always dismal. In this paper we try to bring out a new method to reduce the sparkle formed on the PS converter and enhance the system efficiency.

When load areas on a feeder are deenergized due to faults and scheduled outage, operators need to identify neighboring feeders, try to restore customers and minimize out-of-service areas. These cases include knowledge of system states and various constraints such as voltage drop. This paper concerns the load transfer in fault restoration and scheduled outage. Also, the operating constraints such as line current capacity, relay trip current, transformer capacity, voltage drop and line loss are considered. This expert system can propose the optimal load transfer method by analyzing the system state and considering the constraints.

Because of fierce competition, the importance of product design has been emphasized. In this case study of Aekyung, we mainly focus on this company's efforts to incorporate design innovation into new product development process. Their efforts on innovative product design turn out to be rewarding as the sales and market share soar. Through this case, we try to identify what aspects of Aekyung's efforts lead to the better and more innovative product design.
