As the interest in the business-to-business electronic commerce is increasing, many companies are participating in the business-to-business e-marketplaces. As a result, it is important to develop understanding of behaviors of firms that use these e-marketplaces. For this purpose, e-marketplace usage company trust is proposed to affect commitment, long-term orientation and cooperation. This study, which used data from participating in the business-to-business e-marketplace companies, showed acceptable data-fit of proposed model and supported all of research hypotheses. The empirical results indicated that trust take significant effect on commitment, long-term orientation and cooperation, and the commitment affect long-term orientation and cooperation, and the commitment in turn have strong influence on long-term orientation and cooperation. It was confirmed that commitment variable is effective mediator linking trust and long-term orientation and cooperation.
The purpose of this study is first, to find out what factors affect the cooperation and trust within the functions in the policy implementation network and in what mechanism these factors interact, second to investigate the whys to manage trust and cooperation successfully in the dynamic situation such as the network setting. For these purpose, this study reviews the concept and characteristics of policy implementation organizations, second, extracts the various factors affecting trust and cooperation in the network situation, third applies and analyzes the relationship among factors to system dynamics model based on the game theory. The results of this study could be summarized as follows: It was found that the utility change within the participants by persuasion & mutual understanding and change of rule would be leading to success in policy implementation network. Also bureaucratic management such as power enforcement does not have any good impact in the managing network. In this study, system simulation method tried to analyze the hypothesis. Quantitative and case analyses were not accompanied and analysis was limited to two-person game theory. So there is some doubt this results could be generalized to actual situation which is N-person game.

The fact that cooperation is an essential factor for foodservice industry success has been discovered by many business leaders. Success in entrepreneurial businesses depends upon cooperation. However, there has been a lack of studies done about cooperation in the service industry, particularly levels of cooperation among foodservice employees in an organization. This study is designed to understand the antecedents, servant leadership and trust in co-workers that have a resulting influence on cooperation among foodservice employees. To achieve the study objective, 191 valid questionnaires were statistically analyzed, using frequency analysis, factor, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. The following is a summary of my verified analysis. First, servant leadership have a positive influence on trust in co-workers. Second, trust in co-workers has a positive influence on cooperation among foodservice employees positively.

As research cooperation was increased nowadays, This study seeks to explores the performance determinants of research cooperation. Toward this end, this study is focused on generating such determinants as interfirm trust, commitment and corporate capability based on previous studies and existing literature. We define openness, management ability and consideration as sub-variable of interfirm trust, corporate capability was composed of R&D capability, financial capability, management capability and absorptive capacity. Commitment had no sub-variable. Also, this study was composed of two dependent variables, aiming to explore differential performance of research cooperation. Results of the empirical analyses are as follows. First, corporate capability was significant impact on research cooperation. Second, interfirm trust and commitment was not significant to research cooperation. Finally, performance differentiation between two dependent variable was not proved in this study.
The study aims to analyze the factors affecting citizens' willingness to cooperate in police activities and to verify the intermediation effects of citizens' trust in police in these relationships. In order to achieve the purpose of such research, we selected factors that are expected to affect cooperation in police activities and police confidence by conducting a survey of 502 adult men and women living in Seoul and utilized them for analysis. The results from the analysis are summarized as follows. First, procedural fairness was confirmed as an influence factor on the cooperative history of police activities. In other words, it is necessary to have police activities conducted more fairly and citizens recognize them in order to induce cooperation from citizens, as the fairer police activities are shown to increase the willingness of citizens to cooperate. Second, it was confirmed that the level of citizen awareness of patrol activities and level of disorder in the community affected cooperation in police activities through the medium of police trust. It can be said that the more positively citizens evaluate police patrol activities, the more police confidence increases and this trust leads to citizens' cooperation in police activities. In addition, as the disorderly environment in the community improves, citizens' trust in the police increases, leading to civic cooperation in police activities. Based on this, the police trust was able to confirm that it had a fully operational effect. Third, if the procedural fairness of police activities increases, citizens trust the police, and this police trust leads to cooperation in police activities. In addition, it was found that procedural fairness had a direct impact on citizens' cooperation in police activities, so it was able to confirm that there was a partial selling effect.

Horizontal cooperation is seen as an effective way to raise a competitive advantage in logistics and transportation. However, there are many logistics enterprises still operating individually instead of cooperating. This research aims to investigate the factors influencing the decision of horizontal cooperation by surveying a large sample of Vietnamese logistics companies. This study employs 161 logistics companies to examine correlations between potential factors and horizontal collaboration. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to test the conceptual model and the relationships among variables. The findings revealed that information sharing was the most important predictor of 161 supply chain providers' horizontal collaboration decisions, which resulted in increased profitability or service quality. Besides, trust in partners was found to be positively related to the degree of horizontal cooperation among logistics companies. Finally, the finding of this research is that reputation had a positive effect on the strategy of horizontal cooperation. Our findings suggest that SME managers should be concerened about their information sharing, their reputation as well as their trust in partners if they would be invited in cooperation with another firm to increase service quality, performance, and competitive advantage.
Purpose - Distribution channels cannot function without cooperation. While evidence suggests channel power plays a fundamental role in fostering successful manufacturer-dealer channel cooperation in Western countries distribution systems, little is known empirically as to how dealers' possession of non-mediated powers influence SME manufacturers' cooperation in Asian developing countries. Research design, data, methodology - Drawing upon the extant distribution channels literatures; this study conceptualizes a model and examines the effects of dealer's non-mediated powers on manufacturing SME firms, as well as the mediating influence of trust, relationship satisfaction and commitment. A survey of 400 manufacturing SMEs in Taiwan empirically supports the proposed hypothesis. Results - The model is acceptable in terms of overall goodness of fit. Acceptable model fit are indicated by χ2/(df): 2.35, GFI≧.90; RMSEA values≦ .08; IFI, TLI and CFI values≧.90. Our results indicate that, GFI (0.910), IFI (0.937), TLI (0.903), CFI (0.936), and RMSEA (0.079) and therefore, achieved the suggested thresholds. Conclusions - The results of this study have some managerial implications for managers in the dealer's firms. The overall implication from the findings is that managers can utilize expert, referent and traditional legitimate powers to attain channel cooperation with manufacturing SMEs in addition to garnering their trust, relationship satisfaction and commitment.
Purpose - This paper aims to examine the impact of buyer-supplier cooperation on suppliers' trust on buyers and the moderating role of buyers' governance mechanism between the sharing activities and trust. Research design, data, and methodology - An integrated research model is designed to materialize the research hypotheses. First, the impact of buyer-supplier cooperation is empirically analyzed by looking into how the sharing activities, in the field of information, resource, and knowledge, of buyer with supplier will affect the trust of supplier on buyer. Second, the moderating effect of contract-based governance mechanism of buyer is empirically analyzed. Third, the influence of trust on innovation performance of suppler is empirically analyzed. Results - Our findings provide supporting evidence for some of our hypotheses. First, all of the sharing activities are significantly influential, but in different degree, to trust of supplier. Second, contract-based governance mechanism of buyer have a moderating effect on the relationship between sharing activities and trust, positively in resource-sharing activities, negatively in information-sharing activities, not significant in knowledge-sharing activities. Third, supplier's trust on buyer positively affects supplier's own innovation performance. Conclusions - The strategies applied in supply chain management have become important as the competition among firms has shifted from competition between individual firms to competition between supply chains. A customer's sharing activities with its supplier may contribute to an increase in innovation performance. The supplier's information-sharing activity with its customer could affect its information-sharing activities with its main supplier. Cooperative activity with a partner in the supply chain is cultivated and amassed into relationship knowledge, and this study shows that the cooperative relational knowledge related to information-sharing activities enables firms to participate in sharing activities with their main suppliers. Increasing evidence shows that sharing various activities between buyer and supplier improves trust and performance outcomes, and enables firms to maintain competitive advantage. From the perspective of knowledge theory, external knowledge is becoming more important in firms' innovation activities, because innovative knowledge is acquired primarily through interaction with another organization. In addition, relationship learning could be an important tool in absorbing the supplier's core technology, information, expertise, and core competencies, increasing relational value.
Supply chain management for complex project requires continuous integration activities with the suppliers and subcontractors. This study proposes the firm performances, trust, relational norms, interfirm conflict and cooperation as major research variables, and collected the survey responses from the suppliers and subcontractors having experiences with complex projects. The statistical results indicate that the cooperation and conflict influence the firm performances, and that the inter-firm trust have some impact on the level of cooperation and conflict. It was also found that the inter-firm cooperation is influenced by relational norm. But on the contrary to our expectation, the relational norm has no significant impact on the inter-firm conflict. These findings may offer the significant implications leading to successful implementation of collaborative supply chain management in the context of project engineering area.

This study is purposed to make sure of the Effects of Enterprise Trust on Relation-Continuing Intention and the Mediation Effects of Relation-Continuing Intention in the effects of Enterprise Trust on Customer Citizenship Behavior. Enterprise Trust consists of two elements(Enterprise Sincerity, Enterprise Ability), Customer Citizenship Behavior is made up of two elements(Guest Preference, Guest Cooperation) and Relation-Continuing Intention has one element itself. As a result, two things have been found. First, Enterprise Trust has a partly positive impact on Customer Citizenship Behavior. In details, both of two elements of Enterprise Trust have positive influences on Guest Preference, one element of Customer Citizenship Behavior, on the other hand, Enterprise Sincerity, one element of Enterprise Trust has a positive influence on Guest Preference, one element of Customer Citizenship Behavior but Enterprise Ability, the other element of Enterprise Trust, has no meaningful impact on Guest Preference. Second, Relation-Continuing Intention has a mediating effect between Enterprise Trust and Customer Citizenship Behavior. In details, Relation-Continuing Intention has a partial mediating role between Enterprise Sincerity and Guest Preference, between Enterprise Ability and Guest Preference and between Enterprise Sincerity and Guest Cooperation. However Relation-Continuing Intention has a full mediating role between Enterprise Ability and Guest Cooperation.
