A Qualitative Study of Nursing Students' first Clinical Experience (전문대 간호학생들의 첫 임상실습 체험 연구)

  • This qualitative nursing research used a hermeneutic phenomenological approach to discovery of meaning of the nursing students' clinical experience in junior colleges. Data collecting was utilized by in- depth face-to-face interviews of 10 sophomores who were participating in their first clinical experience. The following themes of the experience emerged. 1) The first step of fear (fear, being embarrassed) 2) Rhythmical patterning of theory and practice(disappointment of nurses, recognition of the gap between the theory and practice, the conflict between medical doctors and nurses, trouble with the students from other colleges, confusion from nurses' educational and noneducational attitudes, burden of responsibility for nurses' jobs, and the tiresome nature of repeated practice) 3) Discovery of changing self, awareness of self-expansion (awareness of professional nurses' roles, formation of self-confidence, changing of one's state of mind) From this study essential theme of clinical experience of nursing student's was identified, and continuous efforts to establish better adaptation of nursing students to clinical practice are required.

  • Recently, use of sea-sand as fine aggregates in reinforced concrete structures is increasing because of lacking of supply due to destructive of environment caused by obtaining and exhausting of resource. It rise up issue, some field reconstruction, interrupted construction works occurring to the trouble on the site because sometimes engineer does not agree to use of corroded bar, even slighly corroded. This study investigates the properties of bond strength and the structural behavior of corroded bars before and after placement. The purpose of the study is to present the database estimating degree of damaged bond strength according to corrosion level and deciding on whether using corroded bars or not.

  • Recently, trouble of sand supply is occurred according to exhaustion of natural sand resources. To solve this problem, sea sand and crushed sand are used. But, necessity of water reducing agent because quality of concrete that use sea sand and crushed sand is deteriorated. Therefore in this study was examined on the engineering properties of concrete with kind of fine aggregate and addition ratio of water reducing agents. As a result, compressive strength appeared similar standard regardless of kind of fine aggregate. Compressive strength, durability was similar in decrease of the unit water content by increase of addition ratio of the water reducing agent. Also, drying shrinkage resistivity was improved because the unit water content decreased.

A Study on the Physical Properties of MgO Board for Wall System (경량 벽체용 MgO 보드의 물리적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study we settled the trouble of the MgO board of existence by this research. We changed the wooden one of the main ingredient of a board to a perlite and a mineral particle in the aluminum hydroxide group and proceeded with a study to physical character and fire resistance efficiency improvement. The result yellowing phenomenon could be improved and it was possible to reduce size decrease of pin hole and the frequency of occurrence. We found out that the in case of absorbed amount added 5~8% corresponding to the weight decreases the acrylic group emulsion suddenly. So this product is improved with the bending strength and water-resistance. After behavior stop time measurement of a mouse for experiments was measured at the time of a gas harmful effect test, an improved MgO board appeared more highly for an average of 138 seconds compared with a board of existence.

  • In many image processing applications, a random noise makes some trouble since most video enhancement functions produce visual artifacts if a priori of the noise is incorrect. The basic difficulty is that the noise and the signal are difficult to be distinguished. Typical unsharp masking (UM) enhances the visual appearances of images, but it also amplifies the noise components of the image. Hence, the applications of a UM are limited when noises are presented. This paper proposed statistical algorithms based on parametric and nonparametric tests to adaptively enhance the image feature and the noise combining while applying UM. With the proposed algorithm, it is made possible to enhance the local contrast of an image without amplifying the noise.

  • Confirmation of a damage degree and repair about a damage part are very hard for an underwater structure. And quality control of a construction is very complicated even if repair work is carried out on a damaged structure because repair work is carried out in water. If repair work is carried out while a defect part of the structure which there is in water keeps dry state, a efficient of repair is maximized. However, as for the repair technology about an underwater structure, a systematic researcher is not enough because of the environmental trouble. And, as for the effect about repair method to be applied to a currently underwater structure, it is not certainly proved. In this study The repair work of an underwater structure damaged applied the method that used a fiber panel form work. And a efficient of structure repaired was evaluated.

  • In this paper, a passive telemetry RF capacitive humidity sensor system using a RLSE(Recursive Least Square Estimation) technique is proposed. To overcome these trouble problems such as a power limitation and a estimation complexity that the general passive telemetry sensor system including It chip has, the principle of inductive coupling was applied to the modeling of a passive telemetry RF capacitive humidity sensor system and its capacitance was estimatedd by the RLSE algorithm. Specially, by introducing the optimal forgetting factor, we showed that the accuracy of its estimation was improved even in the time varying system and also the convergence time was reduced.

  • 산업용 CRDI 엔진에서 센서의 정보를 분석하여 최적의 조건으로 엔진이 동작하도록 하기 위해 산업용 CRDI 시스템에 적합한 OBD-II 프로토콜을 설계하고 ECU의 센서 정보를 전문가 아닌 일반 사용자가 내용을 이해하기 쉽도록 사용자 중심의 진단기의 개발이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 자동차 고장진단 신호 및 센서 출력 신호를 유선시스템과 무선 시스템인 블루투스 모듈을 이용하여 실시간 통신이 제공 될 수 있는 OBD-II 진단기 S/W를 설계 및 구현하였다. 엔진이상으로 인한 사고의 예방이 가능하고, 최적의 조건으로 엔진이 동작하므로 과도한 배기가스 배출이나 불완전 연소가스 배출과 같은 대기환경오염을 예방할 수 있다.

Bringing 3D ICs to Aerospace: Needs for Design Tools and Methodologies

  • Three-dimensional integrated circuits (3D ICs), starting with memory cubes, have entered the mainstream recently. The benefits many predicted in the past are indeed delivered, including higher memory bandwidth, smaller form factor, and lower energy. However, 3D ICs have yet to find their deployment in aerospace applications. In this paper we first present key design tools and methodologies for high performance, low power, and reliable 3D ICs that mainly target terrestrial applications. Next, we discuss research needs to extend their capabilities to ensure reliable operations under the harsh space environments. We first present a design methodology that performs fine-grained partitioning of functional modules in 3D ICs for power reduction. Next, we discuss our multi-physics reliability analysis tool that identifies thermal and mechanical reliability trouble spots in the given 3D IC layouts. Our tools will help aerospace electronics designers to improve the reliability of these 3D IC components while not degrading their energy benefits.

  • It is not easy to diagnose rapidly the cause of trouble in the signal service which is currently provided by the fully electronic switching system such as TDX. To solve these problems, it is necessary to acquire and analyze the service signal. This paper describes the development of PCM acquirer which can analyze the signal characteristics by acquiring the PCM signal in SHW(subhighway). Also an algorithm which analyzes the acquired signal and determines the signal frequency si discussed by using CZT.
