Health care wearables are devices that are attached to or combined with the human body to improve the health care capabilities of the human body that can be safely and adjustable according to preference. This study provided direction for future research on healthcare wearables in the field of clothing science, considering trends observed in this field from 2010 to 2019. Over the last 10 years, 812 studies have been conducted on healthcare wearables in Korea. Research has increased significantly since 2015, with a large number of articles published in this field. The research for this study was broken down into the following categories: technology development, marketing analysis, and technology analysis. The results according to the research method demonstrated that development and production methods were used most frequently, followed by trend analysis, experiment and evaluation, and survey. An analysis of keywords in the articles studied revealed that device, healthcare, big data (biometric data and database), and healthcare convergence technologies were trending. Similarly, detailed research on healthcare wearable devices and related technologies was actively being conducted. However, focusing on fiber, textiles, design, and clothing articles, in relation to the field of clothing in healthcare wearables, only 81 articles were found on this topic (10.0%), which was low compared to other studies. Therefore, it was determined that more research on healthcare wearables is necessary in the field of clothing.

Objective : In this article, we overviewed clinical Korean Medicine studies on dementia by analyzing papers published in Korea from 2010 to 2019. Methods : We explored research articles on dementia from 5 Korean research databases using the keyword 'dementia' and 'Korean Medicine'. We included original articles and reviews of clinical Korean Medicine and excluded single case study and experiment article of animal model. Then we analyzed them according to the published year, journal type, and research topics. Results & Conclusions : Research topics were classified into 'research trend', 'treatment', 'prevention', 'evaluation', 'medical expenses', 'collaborative practice' and 'others'. The largest number of articles were published in 2011(24.4%). 'Journal of Oriental Neuropsychiatry' was the journal with the most published articles(46.3%). In research topics, the analyses of research trend accounted for the largest portion(39.0%) and the articles about treatment for dementia or evaluation index in Korean medicine had the second largest proportion(14.6%). We hope that various researches for therapeutic effects, mechanisms and preventive effects of Korean Medicine in dementia would be conducted for future study.

This paper aims to present a prospective trend to establish a proper CALS conception and an efficient CALS environment in Korea.. It is crucial at this point for Korea to develop a comprehensive CALS conception which considers our present economic and social situation, national security, and our national emotion. Korean CALS has been developed and led mainly by the government and private industry. It is now necessary to improve CALS conception in Korea by making CALS standard more interchangeable among international as well as domestic business fields through EDI and the automation of the industries along with the government. In this regard, this paper proposes three potential methods to accomplish this goal and discuss each of them in detail. First, we suggest to establish a proper CALS introduction policy on the government level. We propose an introduction policy with three phases such as introduction, spreading and target which will cover through the year 1996 to 2007. Second. we suggest to establish a proper CALS standardization policy by improving the acquisition of digital data and process, and modernizing infrastructure. Third, we suggest that the government should amend and enforce the necessary laws and acts for more efficient CALS implementation in Korea. Government should arrange for these acts to be applied not optionally but obligatorily to Korean enterprises so that they survive the harsh and competitive world market in the upcoming 21th century.

As webtoon became activated, new forms of expression corresponding to a web format were appeared. New forms can be classified into two. The first is regarding on the computer, which includes a wide use of CG, and color comics. The second is related to web-based one, which includes the trend of a vertical scroll, the introduction of concept in time, animation stage effects, the manufacture trend of media optimization, and the various media mixing. While problems regarding web-based comics service such as copyright and cartoonist become manifested, webtoon will widen new horizon of comics with its characteristics and the change in the form of expression.

Recently, a few mega projects of subsea tunneling are completed or ongoing or under planning stage all across the world. In Korea, subsea tunnels connecting to Japan and China have been considered in the past decades. At the same time, subsea tunnels connecting to domestic islands were planned with preliminary design concepts. Development and improvement of indigenous techniques regarding subsea tunneling are essential in light of current technical level in Korea and their future impact on tunneling industry. In this paper, distinct features of subsea tunnel and construction trend of subaqueous tunnels are analyzed via case studies. Also, case studies about incidents related to subsea tunneling and required techniques to secure safety are presented.

Objectives : This study is designed for trend analysis of oriental medicine treatment for visual impairment. Methods : Research studies related to objectives were gathered through OASIS, KTKP, PUBMED with keywords such as "visual impairment", "myopia", "hyperopia", "presbyopia", "astigmatism" and analyzed. Results : As a result of searching domestic and overseas research on oriental medical treatment for visual impairment, 7 domestic research papers and 11 overseas research papers have been selected. Among those research papers, 15 of those are studies related to childhood or juvenile myopia. Acupuncture, ear acupuncture, herb medicine, periocular massage, eye muscle exercise and habit correction are used as treatment methods for visual impairment. 14 out of 17 research papers which mentioned treatment effect of oriental medicine reported oriental treatment of visual impairment is effective. Conclusions : Various types of oriental medical treatment could be effective in treating visual impairment. Thus, related in-depth research must be proceeded.

1) Purpose : The purpose of this research is to identify the trend of job stress of hospital nurses based on last 10 years of domestic research and to suggest directions for systematic future research. 2) Methodology : 101 studies between 2006 and 2016 were selected using key words such as registered nurse and job stress from Academic Information Service(Riss4u), the National Assembly Library and Korean studies Information Service System(KISS). 3) Findings : The researches on job stress of hospital nurses were increasing. The result showed that job stress increased for shift nurses. Especially, nurses of small-medium sized hospital showed remarkable effects to organization such as turnover intention. In addition, although the importance of approach to management is emphasized, there is little research on these aspects. 4) Practical Implications : It is necessary to develop systematic research on job stress directly effecting turnover intention of hospital nurses from hospital management aspect. The development of job stress measuring tools reflecting the characteristics of the medical institution, and the human resources management plan to resolve the imbalance in manpower for nurses should be required.

Today's architectural design trend based on the recognition of pluralism has led to multiple design directions for all building types including tall buildings. This contemporary design trend has produced many complex-shaped tall buildings, such as twisted, tilted, tapered and freeform towers. Among many different structural systems developed for tall buildings, the diagrid system, with its powerful structural rationale and distinguished aesthetic potential, is one of the most widely used systems for today's tall buildings. This paper studies structural performance of diagrid systems employed for complex-shaped tall buildings. Twisted, tilted, tapered and freeform tall buildings are designed with diagrid structures, and their structural performances are investigated. For the twisted diagrid study, the buildings are twisted up to 3 degrees per floor. In the tilted diagrid study, the angles of tilting range from 0 to 13 degrees. The impact of eccentricity is investigated for gravity as well as lateral loads in tilted towers. In the study of tapered diagrid structures, the angles of tapering range from 0 to 3 degrees. In the study of freeform diagrid structures, lateral stiffness of freeform diagrids is evaluated depending on the degree of fluctuation of free form. The freeform floor plans fluctuate from plus/minus 1.5 meter to plus/minus 4.5 meter boundaries of the original square floor plan. Parametric structural models are generated using appropriate computer programs and the models are exported to structural engineering software for design, analyses and comparative studies.

This study analyzed the trend of researches regarding parenting involvement of fathers with early childhood children in terms of research period, research content and research method. Forty master's thesis and doctoral dissertation and 22 articles were selected for final analysis. Collected data were analyzed using frequency and percentage ratio. The results of this study showed that research on the parenting involvement of fathers has been rapidly increased since 2005. From the perspective of research content, studies dealing with parenting involvement of fathers as an independent variable focused on early children and social and emotional variables. Most of studies dealing with parenting involvement of fathers as an dependent variable consistently dealt with demographic variables. From the perspective of research method, most researches were quantitative and non-experimental. No research was done using qualitative method and all researches except one were done using non-experimental method. The number of participants in most researches were over 100 and less than 400. Most researches used participants from one particular district. Research instruments validated in Korea were used in most researches. These results were discussed with suggestions for further study.

As teachers need to understand how to select and use technology in mathematics education, analysis on history, characteristics, and effects of various technology used in school mathematics will facilitate effective use of technology. This thesis aims to analyze through literary studies the history, characteristics, and effects of using spreadsheets Excel, dynamic geometry softwares GSP, Cabri and CAS, the most commonly used technology in teaching and learning mathematics in Korea. And we also study the current trends on using technology in mathematics education in Korea by investigating research trend, secondary mathematics curriculums past and present in Korea, mathematics textbooks, and classroom environments.
