In Tokamak magnet for nuclear fusion, high current pulse type conductor is requested. Cable in Conduit type Conductor(CICC) is considered to be effective for this application because of not only high current but the high stability and mechanical strength. In this paper, the present status of conductor development for superconducting tokamak has been investigated.

In this paper, the research trend and the sate-of-the-art of low cost motor drives are introduced with the recently increasing interest In various industrial applications, such as home appliance, hybrid electric vehicles, wind power systems, fuel cell systems, and etc. Based on this presented work, it is highly expected the power electronics technologies, which are accumulated through the last 20 years, can be effectively applied to actual application fields.

생산공정에서 사용되는 거의 모든 제어대상 플랜트나 시스템들은 비선형적이고 불확실한 특성을 내포하고 있다. 종래의 제어기법들은 이러한 시스템들을 수학적으로 단순화시켜, 그 단순화된 모델을 바탕으로 제어하는 것을 기본으로 하고 잇는데, 이러한 방법은 시스템의 여러 가지 정 보의 손실을 초래하여 제어기 전체의 성능을 저하시키는 원인이 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 지능 제어 기법을 생산현장 플랜트에 적용함으로써, 종래의 제어기법들에 비해 향상된 제어 성능을 기대할 수 있다. 이 글에서는 이러한 기법들에 대한 이론의 소개 및 용접, 조립, 레이저 경화 등과 같은 생산공정과 로봇 제어분야 등에 적용한 사례연구를 살펴보고, 이를 통 하여 지능 제어 기법의 유용성을 살펴보기로 한다.

현재 IC카드는 통신, 금융, 교통 등의 여러 응용 서비스에서 널리 사용되고 있는데, 계속적인 하드웨어 기술의 발전으로 인한 메모리 증가, CPU 성능 향상과, 통합된 정보 가전을 위한 다양한 형태의 네트워크 연결 인터페이스 구축 노력이 다중 응용 프로그램(Multi-Application) 사용 요구 및 개방형 운영체제(Open-platform Operating System)와 맞물려 도약적인 기술 발전을 이루고 있다. 본 고에서는 널리 사용되고 있으며 향후 시장성이 가장 클 것으로 예측되는 자바 카드 플랫폼 탑재 IC카드의 기술 현황을 H/W 및 S/W측면에서 살펴보고, 자바 카드 기술의 발전 동향을 조망하고자 한다.

This paper attempts to apply Markove chain theory to literary works. the objective of this paper is to show the trend of authors and his works by way of Markovian Models. In this introductory research, it is useful to make simple criteria as virtue and evil, good and bad, justice and injustice, positive and negative, man and woman, etc. Markovian transition matrixes which are derived by M.L.E. and A.U.E are almost same. In case of Hamlet, we are able to know the author of Hamlet or his works are inconsistent and fickle.

Decision Analysis(DA) using Value Focused Thinking(VFT) can be an excellent process to deal with hard decisions. The intent of this research is to provide better understanding of the United States Air Force(USAF) officer retention problem. This thesis effort involves building a VFT model to find out more effective alternatives in retaining pilots and non pilots. This model, in conjunction with the results of the post analysis, shows an example of the application of a VFT approach to the USAF officer retention problem.

This paper is concerned with the development and application of a stochastic model for daily sulphur dioxide $(SO_2)$ concentrations in urban area (Seoul). For this, the characteristics of the regression trend, periodicity and dependence of the daily $SO_2$ concentration are investigated by a statistisical analysis of the daily average $SO_2$ values measured in Seoul area during 1989 $\sim$ 1990. Based on these, nonlinear regression time series model for the prediction of daily $SO_2$ concentrations is derived. A statistical procedure for using the model to predict the concentration level is also proposed.

최근 홈 내에서는 PC나 가전기기의 수가 증가하며, 네트워크 활용이 커짐에 따라 홈네트워크 기술이 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 이러한 홈네트워크 기술은 PC나 가전기기 사이에 통신이 가능하도록 하는 기술을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 홈네트워크와 관련된 여러 가지 홈네트워크 기술을 살펴보도록 한다. 또한 지능형 홈네트워크 기술과 함께 센서네트워크를 활용한 앞으로의 지능형 홈네트워크 기술에 대해서도 알아보도록 한다.

This paper presents the survey of technical trend in AD converters for wireless communication systems. This paper provides explanations about the performance measure of ADC in wireless communication application and the relation ship between BER versus effective resolution and sampling speed. The survey suggests that at least one step analog frequency down conversion is required for software defined radio systems due to current technological limit.

Ozone is widely used to sterilize food and tap water because ozone is a strong oxidizer. Efficient ozone generation is the most important issue in the field of ozone application. A variable discharge type of ozonizer that generates diffuse glow discharge in air at atmospheric pressure was used for the efficient ozone generation.
