  • 코로나19가 막바지에 다다르며 근 몇 년 간 여행을 가지 못했던 사람들의 관심이 다시금 여행으로 쏠리면서 여행업이 점점 활기를 되찾고 있다. 이에 따라 여행 관련된 어플리케이션을 개발하여 여행에 도움이 되고자 한다. SNS가 활발한 요즘 트렌드에 따라 본 어플리케이션은 메인 기능으로 리뷰 기능을 제공한다. 이외에도 갤러리를 통해 여행 기록들을 저장할 수 있으며, 네비게이션을 통해 목적지까지의 경로를 편리하게 볼 수 있다. 사람들은 보통 여행을 할 때에 목적에 따라 여러 가지 어플리케이션을 동시에 사용하곤 한다. 본 연구는 이러한 번거로움 해소를 위해 여러 가지 기능이 합쳐진 어플리케이션을 개발해 편리함을 증진시키는 것에 목적을 두고 진행한다. 개발 툴은 안드로이드 스튜디오를 사용한다.

  • It is very difficult to find optimal train operation plan when analyzing the economic investment using traditional railroad travel demand estimation method. Train operation plan depends on travel demand and vice versa. To solve this problem, this study suggests a demand estimation method to address an optimal train operation scheme with the modal spilt using initial train operation plan and trip assignment.

Virtual Reality to Help Relieve Travel Anxiety

  • This study presents empirical evidence of the benefit of viewing narrative video clips on embedded virtual reality (VR) websites of hotels to relieve travel anxiety. As the effectiveness of using VR functions to relieve travel anxiety has been shown, we proposed that a VR website enhanced with narrative video clips could relieve travelers' anxiety about accommodations by showing the important aspects of a hotel. Thus, we created a website with a narrative video showing the escape route from a hotel room and another narrative video showing the surrounding neighborhood. We then conducted experiments by having human subjects explore the enhanced VR website and fill out a questionnaire. The results confirmed our hypothesis that there is a statistically significant relationship between relief from travel anxiety and the use of narrative videos on embedded VR websites of hotels.

  • 전통적 그리고 인터넷 기반 관광정보시스템은 각각 관광에 대한 포괄적이고 유용한 정보를 제공한다. 그러나 이들 시스템은 사용이 어렵고 사용자의 요구에 적절하게 대응하는 융통성을 갖지 못하고 정형화된 정보를 보여줄 뿐이다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 지식기반 전문가시스템 접근방식을 도입하고 있다. 이 방식을 이용하여 뉴질랜드 관광안내를 위한 한 전문가시스템이 사례로 제시되고 있다. EXSYS로 구현된 이 시스템은 사용자의 맞춤 여행계획을 제공한다.

  • In order to determine the level of service which minimizes the total of expected cost of service and the expected cost of waiting for that service, the important considerations are to evaluate the distance traveled to and from a service facility (D) and the expected number of mechanics in queueing system (L). The travel-time models are very useful when the servers must travel to the customer from the service facility. Thus, in this paper we studied on the determination of the optimal service level by the travel-time models. In order to decide the optimal service level, (D) has been introduced as a uniform distribution and (L) has been introduced as M/M/S model of queueing theory.

A Forecasting Model for the Flood Peak Stage and Flood Travel Time by Hydraulic Flood Routing

  • The peak flood discharge at a downstream station and the flood travel time between a pair of dams due to a specific flood release from the upper reservoir are computed using a hydraulic river channel routing method. The study covered the whole large reservoir system in the Han River, Korea. The computed flood discharges and the travel times between dams were correlated with the duration and the magnitude of flood release rate at the upstream reservoir, and hence a multiple regression model is proposed for each river reach between a pair of dams. The peak flood discharge at a downstream location can be converted to the peak flood stage by a rating curve. Hence, the proposed regression model could be used to forecast the peak flood stage at a downstream location and the flood travel time between dams using the information on the flood travel time, release rate and duration from the upper dam.

컨테이너 셔틀운송을 위한 차량 대수 결정 (Determination of Vehicle Fleet Size for Container Shuttle Service)

  • This paper presents two analytical approaches to determine the vehicle fleet size for container shuttle service. The shuttle service can be defined as the repetitive travel between the designated places during working period. In the first approach, the transportation model is adopted in order to determine the number of vehicles required. Its advantages and disadvantages in practical application are also discussed. In the second approach, a logical network which is oriented on job is transformed from a physical network which is focused on demand site. Nodes on the logical network represent jobs which include loaded travel, loading and unloading and arcs represent empty travel for the next jobs which include loaded travel, loading and unloading and arcs represent empty travel for the next job. Then a mathematical formulation is constructed similar to the multiple traveling salesman problem (TSP). A solution procedure is carried out based on the well-known insertion heuristic with the real world data.

여행비용접근법을 통한 대구 우방타워랜드의 편익가치 측정 (Estimation of Users대 Benefit Value for Woobang Tower Land in Taegu Using Travel Cost Method)

  • The aim of this paper is to evaluate users benefit values of theme park using Travel Cost Method with special reference to Woobang Tower Land in Taegu for the estimation of economic values. This research is mainly based on questionnaire survey of 100 users of the theme park. Socio-economic factors such as income, year of education, annual income, age and money(travel cost) are analysed from 5 residential areas of the respondents. Multiple regression analysis was used for the evaluation of annual number of park visitings based on the analysis. The regression model shows NV = $\alpha$+$\beta_1$TC+$\beta_2$INC+$\beta_3$EDU+$\beta_4$AGE (NV : Annual Number of Visitings, TC : Travel Cost, INC : Annual Income, EDU : Years of Education, AGE : Age). Regarding to visitors demand curve based on the equation showed that annual economic values of Woobang Tower Land was estimated as 50billion Korean Won.
