동적 해상운송계획 수립을 위한 에이전트 시스템에 관한 연구 (Research on Agent System for Dynamic Maritime Transportation Planning)

  • The most of international shipping cargoes are transported by ship and the shipping market has been continuously increasing. However, due to the recent global recession, the volume of trade decreased accordingly, and the competition between shippers to gain a competitive advantage in the shipping market continues deepening. To do this, researches on transportation costs savings as well as ways to improve customer service are needed and recently related researches are being pursued. Car carriers which transport more than 80% of car import and export volume in the world also make a lot of effort in order to reduce transportation costs, but in contrast related researches are seldom fulfilled. In this study, we developed an agent system that supports the efficient transportation of car carriers plan so that the car carriers can increase competitiveness through reduction of the logistics costs. To make this, we researched an algorithm for maritime transportation planning, and also developed a prototype of an agent system which can collect the necessary information in real time and establish a dynamic plan.

  • The rapid increase in the freight movement in Korea demands the improvement of the freight transportation system both in quantity and in quality. In recent studies integrated freight terminals have been suggested as the most relevant physical facility that solves this problem. This paper is aiming at the efficiency of the freight transportation system in Korea via integrated freight terminals. We develop a mixed integer programming model to determine simultaneously the most efficient freight flow patterns as well as the optimal locations and sizes of the integrated freight terminal facilities. The results of the model implication is also presented.

  • 유무선 통신기술이 접목된 정보통신 및 제어기술을 이용하는 첨단해양교통시설은 안전한 해양교통 환경을 보장할 수 있는 혁신적인 교통시설이다. 표준화를 기반으로 개발되어진 기술을 통합한 해양교통시설은 항로표지 시스템의 관리와 모니터링 분야에 그 응용기반이 확대되어져 가고 있다. 이러한 해양교통 환경적 변화를 고려하여 해양교통시설에 대한 현황을 파악하고, 해양교통시설 관리시스템 통합의 타당성을 확인하였고, 통합을 구현하기 위한 최적의 방안 및 기존 시스템과의 연계를 통한통합 방안을 제시하였다.

  • Conventional power conversion unit that is a major part of the propulsion system has applied GTO thyristor as a switching semiconductor device of main circuit since introduction of the 8200 electric locomotive. But problem that quick maintenance is difficult and its cost is increasing occurs because major components of the power conversion unit are slowly discontinued. To solve these, in this paper, it was analyzed the response characteristic of the propulsion system modeling of the 8200 electric locomotive using IGBT which is applied recently to ensure propulsion control technology. As results of response for a Propulsion system modeling, it show that a power conversion unit is controlled by PLL(Phase-locked loop) and SVPWM(Space Voltage PWM) respectively.

  • In these days, mobile technology such as smart phone and GPS have an effect on business processes of many companies especially a transportation company. The purpose of this paper is to present the development processes of real time vehicles tracking and intelligent TMS (Transportation Management System) using smart phone applications. The objective of this study is two-fold. The first is to redesign business process of the transportation company. Using BPR (business process re-engineering), we analyze current processes to find opportunities for improvement redefining processes after adopting mobile technology precisely. The second is to develop the real time vehicles tracking and intelligent TMS. Proposed system consists of four parts : (1) intelligent TMS(web system) (2) real time vehicle tracking application for TMS (3) real time tracking application for customer (4) salesman supporting application. Developed system was tested at the transportation company and was found to be an useful system.

고령화사회의 DRT(Demand Responsive Transit)시스템 도입방안에 관한 연구 - 김해시를 중심으로 - (A Study on DRT System Introduction for Aging Society : A Case Study on Kimhae City)

  • Rapid increase of aging population and progressed migration from rural areas to urban areas have caused deficit of bus routes in local cities. This increasing burden of operation deficit affects the movement strategy of the transportation vulnerable who are using buses. Along with dramatically increased aging in Korea, there is an urgent need to implement a new method which can guarantee mobility rights of public transportation especially for the elderly. This study focuses on the case of Demand Responsive Transit(DRT) system that has been operating in America, Europe, Japan, etc. Kimhae(Sangdong-myeon and Saengnim-myeon) is selected as a study area. This study investigated the possibility of adopting DRT system on the perspectives of the consumer and provider by the analysis of traffic condition such as the number of transportation vehicles, present bus service and regulation and conduct of questionnaire survey which includes present bus service and DRT system and so on. In conclusion, DRT system in Kimhae city will reduce transport cost, increase affordability through the betterment of service level and secure mobility rights for the transportation vulnerable.

  • 국내 화물자동차운송시장은 공급과잉이라는 열악한 경영환경에 직면해 있을 뿐만 아니라 화물운송과정에 있어서 심각한 구조적 문제를 안고 있다. 이러한 요인들은 국내 화물자동차운송산업의 경쟁력을 약화시키고 관련산업의 발전을 저해하는 결과를 초래하고 있다. 특히 최근 한국경제의 침체와 화물자동차운임하락 등의 문제는 화물자동차 운수사업자들의 생계를 위협하고 있다. 한국 정부 및 국회는 화물자동차운수사업법의 개정을 통해 이러한 문제를 정책적으로 해결하고자 노력하고 있다. 개정법률안의 핵심적 내용 중의 하나는 화물자동차운송정보망 사용의 의무화이다. 본 논문에서는 화물자동차운송정보망의 구축전략을 개념적으로 제시하고 4가지 수요 시나리오를 가정하여 정보망사업에 대한 경제적타당성 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 화물정보망의 구축은 각 화물자동차운송사업자들의 유형별로 전국적 기반하에서 각각 구축하는 것보다는 화물자동차운송사업자들이 공동으로 지역별로 구축하는 것이 보다 효과적으로 나타났다. 이러한 공동 정보망 구축시 투자 타당성은 높은 것으로 나타났다.

연안운송의 활성화를 위한 연계체계 구축방안에 관한 연구 (Developing Sea-Ground Cargo Linkages for Facilitating Coastal Transportations)

  • The efficiency and effectiveness of freight transportation within and across Northeast Asia playa key role to achieve competitive advantages against other competing hubs in this area. However, the majority of local freight has been carried by ground transportation and the share of costal shipping has been decreasing for its transportational complexity and poor cargo works. In this paper, we discuss the prerequisites of efficient cargo linkage system from the perspectives of road, rail, ocean, and the service providers. Specifically, we identify that the balanced capacity of road/rail transportation system with costal freight system is a crucial component for facilitating coastal shipping. Other requirements such as the efficient on-dock container yard (ODCY), dedicated ports and ships, and the service provider of door-to-door transportation for short sea shipping are highlighted in order to secure the serviceability and availability of streamlined costal shipping. Further, we elaborate these requirements to facilitate costal cargo shipping in Korea.

공동수송의 시뮬레이션 연구 (Simulation Study of Consolidated Transportation)

  • Recently, in order to stay at predominance in the global infinity competition, most of companies have been reducing the cost in many fields of industry First of all, the reduction of the logistics cost have been recognized greatly as the company value rises. But, the current situation of domestic logistics cost is very weak compared with Japan, U.S.A., etc. A rate of logistics cost out of GDP is still high compared with the competitors. The reduction of the transportation cost from overall logistics cost is most urgent subject. One of the methods to make a domestic transportation system efficient is the consolidation. In this paper. we try to compare the consolidated transportation model for a cost reduction with individual case. We also analyze the efficiency of consolidated transportation using simulation program with Arena of System Modeling Company.

  • Due to the fact that high speed railroad will be opened to traffic and TSR and TCR will be connected to Korean railroad network in near future, the efficient operation methods of Railroad freight transportation have been embossed as a matter of concern. But, it is true that the present level of our railway infrastructures and operation systems are still low. This study examines the freight transportation system and introduces new logistic service systems including network strategies and terminals which are haying developed overseas to increase the efficiency of existing railroad transportation system. In case of giving careful consideration to the new methods, it is expected that the high developed freight transportation systems will be applicable to our country.
