IEEE 802.15.4 기반의 무선 제어 망을 위한 실시간 전송기법에 대한 연구 (Real-Time Transmission Method of Wireless Control Network using IEEE 802.15.4 Protocol)

  • In this paper, a real-time transmission algorithm based on IEEE 802.15.4 is proposed. The superframe of IEEE 802.15.4 is applied to the transmission method of real-time mixed data (periodic data, sporadic data, and non real-time message). The simulation results show the real-time performance of sporadic data is improved by using the proposed transmission algorithm.

  • The transmission of sound and vibration through structures is of interest in many noise control problems, including architectural acoustics, sound transmission through air craft, spacecraft and ship, and the transmission of noise through machinery and engine enclosures. Statistical Energy Analysis provides a simple and accurate method of approaching these problems. In this paper, comparing the measured coupling loss factor of plate-beam with measured coupling loss factor of mass on the junction will be inspected.

The Influence of Noise Environment upon Voice and Data Transmission in the RF-CBTC System

  • The RF-CBTC (Radio Frequency-Communication Based Train Control) System is a communication system in railroad systems. The communication method of RF-CBTC system is the wireless between the wayside device and on-board device. The wayside device collects its location and speed from each train and transmits the distance from the forwarding train to the speed-limit position to it. The on-board device controlling device controls the speed optimum for the train. In the case of the RF-CBTC system used in Korea, transmission frequency is 2.4 [GHz]. It is the range of ISM(Industrial Scientific and Medical equipment) band and transmission of voice and data is performed by CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) method. So noises are made in the AWGN (Additive White Gaussian Noise) and fading environment. Currently, the SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) is about 20 [dB], so due to bit errors made by noises, transmission of reliable information to the train is not easy. Also, in the case that two tracks are put to a single direction, it is needed that two trains transmit reliable voice and data to a wayside device. But, by noises, it is not easy that just a train transmits reliable information. In this paper, we estimated the BER (Bit Error Rate) related to the SNR of voice and data transmission in the environment such as AWGN and fading from the RF-CBTC system using the CDMA method. Also, we supposed the SNR which is required to meet the BER standard for voice and data transmission. By increasing the processing gain that is a ratio of chip transmission to voice and data transmission, we made possible voice and data transmission from maximally two trains to a wayside device, and demonstrated it by using Matlab program.

  • This paper investigates active noise control of ducts using Filtered-x Least Mean Square (FXLMS) algorithms to reduce noise transmission. Single channel FXLMS (MFXLSM) and multiple channel FXLMS (MFXLMS) algorithms are used to implement the active control systems. The transmission loss is significantly increased by SFXLMS but the sound pressure level (SPL) at the upstream of the error sensor is increased while that of downstream is very low. This increase of the upstream SPL causes the duct wall to vibrate and so to radiate noise. To prevent the wall vibration generated by the sound field upstream, global sound field control is required. To reduce SPL globally along the duct, active noise control using MFXLMS is implemented. We can then obtained globally reduced SPL. It is found experimentally that the vibration level, and so the radiated noise level. can be reduced by the active noise control using MFXLMS.

  • An electro proportional pressure control valve is mainly used to control the clutch of an agricultural tractor's automatic transmission. During transmission, the operating, hydraulic oil is mix with many kinds of contaminants. The contaminants can be trapped between the valve body and spool of the proportional pressure control valve leading to abnormal operating conditions and finally critical damage to the transmission hydraulic system. The present study aimed to verify the valve control algorithm as a basic study of developing control logic that removes contaminants between the spool and the body of the proportional pressure control valve. To develop the algorithm, MATLAB/SIMULINK was used. PWM method was used to control the applied solenoid coil current. The effectiveness of the algorithm was verified by comparing the actual pressure of the normal valve with the actual pressure of the abnormal valve. Based on the present study findings, when the algorithm was applied, the response of the valve pressure according to the current became stable and oil contaminated particles were removed. In the future study, the control algorithm will be optimized for the stability of the proportional pressure reducing valve, and it will be verified in consideration with the driving of the clutch.

통신해양기상위성의 위성 관제 신호 전송 방식의 최적화 연구 (A Study on the Optimization of the Transmission Method for COMS Satellite Control Signal)

  • 본 연구에서는 다중 변조 방식의 변조 지수에 따른 전력 손실을 위성 관제 전송 모드별로 해석하고, 위성 관제 전송 모드에 대한 필요한 위성 링크 마진을 제시하였다. NRZ/PSK/PM 다중 변조 신호의 전송 신호간 간섭 현상과 위성 관제 수신 신호의 임계값을 기준으로 원격 명령과 원격 측정 신호의 최적 부 반송파 신호를 제안하였다. ESA 거리 측정 방식을 사용하는 위성 관제 모드에서는 12 kHz 또는 14 kHz 의 원격 명령 부 반송파 신호를 그리고, GSTDN 방식을 사용하는 운용 모드에서는 16 kHz 부 반송파를 사용하여 다양한 위성 관제를 할 수 있도록 한다. 또한 원격 측정 신호의 부 반송파는 65.536 kHz를 사용하여 양호한 수신 성능 및 동작 영역을 보장하도록 한다.

Assessing the Impact of Advanced Technologies on Utilization Improvement of Substations

  • The smart substation is the heart of a transmission system, which is particularly emphasized as the most significant composition of smart grids in China. In order to assess the functionality performance of substation technologies, this paper presents methods used to identify the most promising solutions for smart substation design and to evaluate the technical levels of available technologies. The multi-index optimization model is presented to address the issue of smart substation planning. A mathematical model of the planning decision problem is established with multiple objectives consisting of economic, reliability, and green key indices, and many kinds of concerns including physical and environmentally friendly operations are formulated as a set of constraints. With respect to the assessment of the technical level regarding integration of advanced technologies into a substation, a modified grey whitenization weight function is adopted to structure a novel grey clustering method. The proposed grey clustering approach is used to overcome the difficulty of insufficient quantitative assessment capacity for traditional methods. The evaluation of technical effects provides the classification definition for the development phase and the maturity level of the smart substation. The effectiveness of the proposed approaches in planning decision-making and evaluation of construction efforts is demonstrated with case studies involving the actual smart substation projects of Wenchongkou substation in China Southern Power Grid (CSG) and Mengzi substation in State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC).

무선망에서 데이터 전송 향상을 위한 SCTP SNOOP 적용 연구 (A Study on Application SCTP SNOOP for Improving a Data Transmission in Wireless Network)

  • 최근 유무선 혼합망의 사용이 증가됨에 따라 무선망의 핸드오프, 경로 손실, 페이딩, 등과 같은 전송 오류의 원인을 개선하기 위한 연구가 전개되고 있다. 유선의 신뢰성을 보장하는 표준 TCP, SCTP를 무선망에 적용하는 것은 혼잡제어, 흐름제어의 메커니즘을 적용함으로써 데이터 전송의 효율을 저하시킨다. 본 연구는 무선망에서 SCTP를 적용하기 위해서 SCTP와 SNOOP을 혼합하는 것으로, 무선망에서 전송오류가 발생했을 때 BS의 동작과정을 개선한 것이다. BS(Basic Station : 기지국)는 전송오류 시 ZWP(Zero Window Probe)를 MN(Mobile Node:이동노드)에게 보내어 경로와 상태를 확인하고 RWND를 갱신하여 에러상태를 확인한다. 그리고 새로운 경로를 선택하고, FH(Fixed Host : 고정호스트)에게는 ZWA(Zero Window Advertisement)를 보내어 혼잡제어나, 흐름제어 메커니즘을 호출하는 것을 방지하고 대기상태로 기다리게 한다. 무선망의 연결이 안정된 후에 데이터 전송을 함으로써 데이터의 전송 효율을 약 10% 향상한다.
