Effect of pre-hospital BLS simulation training on the paramedic's competency

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of a simulation training of BLS in paramedics in pre-hospital situation. This a nonequivalence control quasi-experimental study. The study subjects were 8 paramedics of experimental group and 8 paramedics of control group in K fire department. An informed consent was written by the subjects after explaining of the purpose of the study. The study methods consisted of conventional education and practice training. The conventional education was done for 30 minutes and the practice training was taken by four trainees of one group and the instructor demonstrated Basic Iife Support (BLS) performance for three minutes. Each trainer peformed BLS for ten minutes. In the beginning of the course, two paramedics got off from the ambulance and performed BLS including 5 cycles of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Soon after the BLS, another two paramedics performed pre-hospital BLS survey. The education was guided by two professors of emergency medical technology, two Basic Iife Support instructors, and two emergency rescue directors. Pre-hospital BLS was measured by a 5-point Likert scale. Higher score means higher performance skills. The data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 22.0 program set at significance level of p<05. The effect of simulation education was much more significant than the conventional education in BLS. The simulation education is very important and effective in improving the clinical performance skills of paramedics than the conventional education. The simulation education can provide the virtual environment of cardiac arrest to the paramedics. In conclusion, the simulation education can provide the effective teaching methods for various practice performance skills and solution by critical thinking in the paramedics and healthcare providers in the future.

스프레드시트를 활용한 지도학습 인공신경망 매개변수 최적화와 활성화함수 기초교육방법 (Supervised Learning Artificial Neural Network Parameter Optimization and Activation Function Basic Training Method using Spreadsheets)

  • 본 논문에서는 비전공자들을 위한 교양과정으로, 기초 인공신경망 과목 커리큘럼을 설계하기 위해, 지도학습 인공신경망 매개변수 최적화 방법과 활성화함수에 대한 기초 교육 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해, 프로그래밍 없이, 매개 변수 최적화 해를 스프레드시트로 찾는 방법을 적용하였다. 본 교육 방법을 통해, 인공신경망 동작 및 구현의 기초 원리 교육에 집중할 수 있다. 그리고, 스프레드시트의 시각화된 데이터를 통해 비전공자들의 관심과 교육 효과를 높일 수 있다. 제안한 내용은 인공뉴런과 Sigmoid, ReLU 활성화 함수, 지도학습데이터의 생성, 지도학습 인공신경망 구성과 매개변수 최적화, 스프레드시트를 이용한 지도학습 인공신경망 구현 및 성능 분석 그리고 교육 만족도 분석으로 구성되었다. 본 논문에서는 Sigmoid 뉴런 인공신경망과 ReLU 뉴런 인공신경망에 대해 음수허용 매개변수 최적화를 고려하여, 인공신경망 매개변수 최적화에 대한 네가지 성능분석결과를 교육하는 방법을 제안하고 교육 만족도 분석을 실시하였다.

백워드 설계 기반 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램이 교사의 SW교육 교수효능감(SE-TE)에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Software Education Teaching Efficacy(SE-TE) of In-service Teachers on Backward Design based TPACK-P Teachers' Training Program)

  • 본 연구에서는 교사들의 소프트웨어 교육 및 정보 교육 수업 전문성 함양을 위하여 백워드 설계를 기반으로 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램에 백워드 설계의 이해에 대한 내용을 포함하여 설계하였다. 이를 비정보과 교사를 대상으로 32시간의 교사 연수를 실시한 결과, 교사들은 SW교육 교수 효능감 측정도구(SE-TEBI)의 사후 검사 결과가 사전 검사에 비해 SE-TE 전체 값(t=-3.541, p<.01) 및 하위 범주인 개인효능(t=-3.559, p<.01), 결과기대(t=-2.258, p<.05)가 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하였음을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 백워드 설계 기반 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램은 교사들의 소프트웨어 교육 및 정보 교육에 대한 수업 전문성을 높이는데 도움이 된다고 해석할 수 있다. 하지만 검사 결과 전반적으로 교사들의 개인효능(PSETE)이 결과기대(SEOE)보다 낮은 경향을 보이는데, 이는 수업에 대한 자신감의 부족으로 해석된다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 교사들의 수업 자신감을 촉진할 수 있는 교사 교육 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.

윈도우 PE 포맷 바이너리 데이터를 활용한 Bidirectional LSTM 기반 경량 악성코드 탐지모델 (Bidirectional LSTM based light-weighted malware detection model using Windows PE format binary data)

  • 군(軍) PC의 99%는 윈도우 운영체제를 사용하고 있어 안전한 국방사이버공간을 유지하기 위해서는 윈도우 기반 악성코드의 탐지 및 대응이 상당히 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 윈도우 PE(Portable Executable) 포맷의 악성코드를 탐지할 수 있는 모델을 제안한다. 탐지모델을 구축함에 있어서는 탐지의 정확도보다는 급증하는 악성코드에 효율적으로 대처하기 위한 탐지모델의 신속한 업데이트에 중점을 두었다. 이에 학습 속도를 향상시키기 위해 복잡한 전처리 과정 없이 최소한의 시퀀스 데이터만으로도 악성코드 탐지가 가능한 Bidirectional LSTM(Long Short Term Memory) 네트워크를 기반으로 탐지모델을 설계하였다. 실험은 EMBER2018 데이터셋을 활용하여 진행하였으며, 3가지의 시퀀스 데이터(Byte-Entropy Histogram, Byte Histogram, String Distribution)로 구성된 특성 집합을 모델에 학습시킨 결과 90.79%의 Accuracy를 달성하였다. 한편, 학습 소요시간은 기존 탐지모델 대비 1/4로 단축되어 급증하는 신종 악성코드에 대응하기 위한 탐지모델의 신속한 업데이트가 가능함을 확인하였다.

Training of Future Specialists in Modern Conditions: Cultural Aspects

  • An increasing number of students from different cultures study in higher primary schools. This trend is due to: 1) the government's discourse on increasing the level of participation of foreign students in national educational programs and the need for internationalization; 2) the need of employers for professionals who are trained to work in a multicultural environment to meet the needs of different markets and customers. Methodology. This study is based on the results of the OECD (2018) structured survey of 1,093 teachers at universities in Australia, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Georgia, Malta, Vietnam, Turkey, and Argentina, examined policy, the practice of cultural characteristics in training specialists, and teachers' attitudes to cultural diversity. Results. The attitude and perception of cultural features by teachers does not determine the practice of forming a cultural environment and managing this environment to ensure quality education of students of different nations. The main culturological aspects of training are self-expression of cultural and ethnic identities, expression of cultural characteristics and their value through multicultural activities in universities, teaching students to combat ethnic or cultural discrimination. Therefore, the formation of a multicultural environment in higher education occurs through the activities of students and teachers, which complement each other. The practical value lies in identifying two important components of the formation of cultural diversity among students, such as self-expression of ethnic and cultural identity and the expression of cultural differences by teachers in the course of educational activities.

항공보안요원 인권관점 실천을 위한 특화된 인권교육에 관한 연구 (A Study on Specialized Human Rights Education for Practicing Aviation Security Personnel's Human Rights Perspective)

  • Human rights education is to acquire understanding and knowledge about human rights, to develop values, attitudes and character that respect human rights, to develop the ability to overcome human rights violations and discriminatory acts, and to protect and promote the human rights of others. In order to prevent human rights violations of the transportation vulnerable, such as the disabled, it is necessary to develop specialized human rights education plans for aviation security personnel to practice human rights perspectives. Therefore, in accordance with the 「National Civil Aviation Security Education and Training Guidelines」, specialized human rights education should be included in the initial aviation security education and regular education courses. The point is that there is a need to reexamine the aviation security education program for aviation security personnel based on the essential knowledge and educational contents for aviation security personnel to perform security screening tasks in the aviation security education course. When this happens, various efforts must be made to improve the human rights of the transportation vulnerable, such as the disabled, during the security screening process, so that human rights violations will be significantly reduced. In particular, it is necessary to enhance the ability to detect dangerous terrorist items such as weapons or explosives that can be used for illegal sabotage through practical security screening training. For aviation security and aircraft safety, efforts to improve the quality of aviation security personnel training, such as human rights training, must be continuously made while thoroughly preparing for terrorism in advance.

근대시기 한국의 여의사 양성과정 성립 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of the Korean Women Doctor's Training Course in the Modern Period)

  • The Gyeongseong Women's Medical Training Center was created as the result of the efforts of our internal visionaries with meaningful foreign missionaries to cultivate female doctors, yet the systematic structure of the institution developed primarily out of Korean efforts. Koreans have tried hard to cultivate their descendants and the skills of the Korean people within this framework, challenging the oppression of the ruling class in a given environment, and the results have continued to this day. First, during the Early period (1890-1909), Korea began to establish women's education and the first female doctors were trained with the help of foreign missionaries. Second, during the Growth period (1910-1919), while it was difficult for women's education to be easily expressed during Japanese colonial era, the need for women's education was growing as part of the patriotic enlightenment movement, and female students who wanted to become doctors began to go abroad. In addition, during this period, the means to train female doctors in Korea was available, but this system was not recognized by the Japanese colonial government. Third, during the Preparatory period (1920-1928), the Gyeongseong Women's Medical Class, which gave practical training to female doctors, was established and centered on Rosetta Hall and female doctors who studied abroad. Fourth, a women's medical school was established during the Establishment period (1929-1938), which created a foundation for stable supply of professional women's medical personnel. In this article, we studied the process of women who were marginalized in education until they were trained as professional intellectuals, and we hope that it will help them understand the current women's education in Korea and draw directions in the future.

일반화 신경망의 개선된 학습 과정을 위한 최적화 신경망 학습률들의 효율성 비교 (A Comparison of the Effects of Optimization Learning Rates using a Modified Learning Process for Generalized Neural Network)

  • 본 연구에서는 Liu 등의 학습 알고리즘과 Wu와 Zhang의 초기 가중값의 범위 설정, 그리고 Gunaseeli와 Karthikeyan의 초기 가중값에 관한 연구 결과를 이용하여 일반화 네트워크를 구할 수 있는 개선된 학습을 제안하고, 최적화된 신경망 학습률들을 이용하여 개선된 학습 과정의 학습효율등을 비교해 본다. 제시된 알고리즘을 이용한 학습에서 학습 초기에는 가장 단순한 학습 패턴과 은닉층으로부터 학습을 시작한다. 신경망 학습과정 중에 지역 최소값에 수렴되는 경우에는 가중값 범위 조정을 통하여 지역 최소값 문제를 해결하고, 지역 최소값으로부터 탈출이 용이하지 않으면 은닉노드를 점차적으로 하나씩 추가하면서 학습한다. 각 단계에서 새롭게 추가된 노드에 대한 초기 가중값의 선택은 이차계획법을 이용한 최적 처리절차를 이용한다. 최적 처리절차는 은닉층의 노드가 추가된 후의 새로운 네트워크에서 학습회수를 단순히 증가시키지 않아도 주어진 학습 허용오차를 만족시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서 적용한 개선된 알고리즘을 이용하면서 초기 가중값들에 관한 기존 연구들을 적용하면 신경망 학습시의 수렴 정도를 높여주고 최소한의 단순 구조를 갖는 일반화 네트워크로 추정할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 학습률들을 변화시키는 모의실험을 통하여 기존의 연구 결과와의 학습 효율을 비교하고 향후 연구 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

직무기반 국제해상위험물 전문교육 모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Job-based Expert Training Model for International Maritime Dangerous Goods)

  • 본 연구에서는 위험물 취급자의 직무에 기반을 둔 국제해상위험물 전문교육 모델을 제안하고자 해외사례 검토를 통하여 직무별 교육과정 세분화 방안을 모색하고, 설문조사를 통하여 위험물 취급자들의 개선 요구사항을 분석하였다. 해외사례 검토 결과, 미국의 경우 위험물 취급자의 직무에 따른 다양한 교육과정이 운영되고 있었고, 영국에서는 위험물의 종류 및 운송수단에 따른 교육과정이 세분화되어 운영되고 있었으나, 국내에서는 다양한 직무에 종사하는 위험물 취급자에 대하여 동일한 교육과정을 적용하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 한편 설문조사 결과, 현 국내 교육과정의 효과가 높지 않고, 응답자들이 IMDG Code 교육의 확대 실시와 인터넷을 통한 정보의 제공을 주로 요구하고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 따라서 결론으로 육상의 위험물 취급자를 육상현장직, 육상사무직, 육상운송직의 세 가지 직군으로 분류한 후 각 직군의 특성에 맞는 교육 방안을 제시하였고, 또한 현 수도권에 집중된 교육 실시지역을 피교육자의 수요에 맞추어 권역별로 확대 실시할 것과 On-line 교육과정의 개설을 제안하였다.

ADR제도 활성화를 위한 효율적인 교육프로그램에 관한 연구 (The Efficient Education Program for the Activation of the ADR System)

  • This paper is to research the current status of ADR in Korea, the qualifications of mediator (or conciliator) and arbitrator, the ADR education program of major foreign arbitration-related institutions and the efficient management device of ADR education program for the activation of the ADR system. In 2007, arbitration applications received at the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board numbered 320 and the amount involved those cases was US$ 216 millions. Mediation applications received at the KCAB numbered 552 and the amount involved those cases US$ 29millions. As of December 2007, the total numbers of arbitrators on the KCAB Panel of Arbitrators was 978. There are no provisions for the qualification of arbitrator in the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration and Arbitration Act of Korea. The KCAB has the consolidation regulation of the Panel of Arbitrator of which purpose is to regulate the criteria and procedure regarding the drawing up and maintenance of the panel of arbitrators. The UK Chartered Institute of Arbitrators has the criteria and qualifications for membership of which three grades are associate, member and fellow. The American Arbitration Association has the qualification criteria for admittance to the AAA National Roster of Arbitrators and Mediators. The Japan Association of Arbitrators has the official authorization regulation for membership of which three grades are special associate, ordinary associate and fellow. The UK Chartered Institute of Arbitrators has the ADR education programs which are composed of the mediation courses and arbitration courses. The American arbitrators Association has the ADR education programs which are composed of in-person training and online training. The Japan Association of Arbitrators has the ADR education programs which are composed of the cultivation courses of conciliator and the practical training courses of arbitrator. The efficient management devices of ADR education program are as follows: the execution of official authorization system of arbitrator, the establishment of specialized division for training and official authorization, the establishment of ADR regular training courses, the publication of ADR training texts and obtaining of instructors, and the consolidation of regulations related to the official authorization of arbitrator and ADR training. In conclusion, for the activation of ADR system, the KCAB and Korean Association of Arbitrators should make further effort to provide the ADR regular education and training programs for potential and practicing conciliators and arbitrators.
