The main criteria for objective measure of the level of transportation service is travel time and delay time. In this paper, the level of service is measured by using moving vehicles method. Through this, we get the hourly traffic volume, the average travel time, space average speed, etc. In addition, we get the density of traffic.

From the 1978 Seasat synthetic aperture radar(SAR) to present systems, spaceborne SAR has demonstrated the capability to image the Earth's ocean and land features over broad areas, day and night, and under most weather conditions. The application of SAR for surveillance of commercial fishing grounds can aid in the detection of illegal fishing activities and provides more efficient use of limited aircraft or patrol craft resources. In the area of vessel traffic monitoring for commercial vessels, Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) which uses the ground-based radar system has some difficulties in detecting moving ships due to the limited detection range of about 10 miles. This paper introduces the field testing results of ship detection by RADARSAT SAR imagery, and proposes a new approach for a Vessel Monitoring System(VMS), including VTS, and SAR combination service.

A network of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) will be required to carry the traffics(CVR, VBR, UBR, ABR) generated by a wide range of services. The traffic ABR uses the remined space of the CBR/VBR traffics bandwith. The Rate-based, the Credit-based, and the mixed method that are implementing the control loop of ABR traffic service is on study. In this paper, a new algorithm that can be considered in ATM and effectively manage ABR traffic using VS/VD method and EPRCA algorithm is proposed on the switch of the Rate-based method

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of air traffic controller's leadership characteristics and hazardous attitudes on the team effectiveness. The effectiveness make use of team efficacy and team commitment. Leadership characteristics and hazardous attitudes make use of the contents of a CRM manual. The study showed following results. 1) Leadership characteristics has a positive influence on the team effectiveness. 2) Hazardous attitudes has a partially bad influence on the team effectiveness. This study was conducted under the auspice of civil and military ATC facilies and by participation of devoting ATC controller's.

Recent works have validated the possibility of reducing the energy consumption in wireless heterogeneous networks, achieved by switching on/off some base stations (BSs) dynamically. In this paper, to realize energy conservation, the discrete time Markov Decision Process (DTMDP) is developed to match up the BS switching operations with the traffic load variations. Then, an asynchronous decision-making algorithm, which is based on the Bellman equation and the on/off priorities of the BSs, is firstly put forward and proved to be optimal in this paper. Through reducing the state and action space during one decision, the proposed asynchronous algorithm can avoid the "curse of dimensionality" occurred in DTMDP frequently. Finally, numerical simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed asynchronous on/off strategies.

The placeness has been lost in space design since Modernism, especially Internationalism. Digital space design of today is one of the means to complement that. The purpose of this study is to grasp a trend in the expression of placeness, being appeared in digital space design process through case analysis. As the result of this study, the placeness in digital design process expressed by parametric elements had each effective internal algorithms. Especially, space design using digital process were expressed placeness by physical context such as topography, conditions of location, landscape, axis of road, traffic elements and climate. And social context were expressed by user experience through his cognition.

This research tried to observe transition quality of unit plan for public space Korea public operated house since the 1950s. The rebuilding method for old apartment housing blocks has merits of providing new buildings and larger private living spaces. However, it causes many serious urban problems, such as shortage of infrastructure capacity, traffic congestion, reduction of building life, and deterioration of open space quality. Nowadays, remodeling is accepted as a way of overcoming such negative effects of the rebuilding method. This study focuses on the various techniques of remodeling. The results of this research are as follows; First, old apartment blocks provide poor level of service in general, so they have problems of bad accessibility, deterioration of facilities, and degraded landscape. In many cases, there is a hindrance from walking freely and security problem due to illegal privatization of public spaces. Second, various remodeling techniques are required to meet residents' different needs. The residents of apartment housing value private space above public space, and show low level of willingness to pay cost for remodeling. Third, based on these findings, some remodeling techniques are suggested - integration of a space to another, expansion of spaces, connection of spaces, reuses of roofs and walls, relocation and renovation of paths between buildings, and so on.

Interior space of large scale composition facilities influences in walk population of distance according to trade and space rescue and walk population of distance is armed business activity. Because executing space analysis of COEX mall interior, can analyzed the walk amount and location and also confirm result that floating population according to accessibility increases. Produced time, day of the week, the passageway passing amount through CCTV on actuality COEX mol interior to compare this. Was proved that it is quantity in the passageway passing amount and analysis incidental of the passing amount that get executing space difference.

The old couple household is also growing up with the growth of the aged so this is problem that needs to consider the home welfare service aspect. Otherwise, by the decrease of the number of the child and facilities' space availability, the government searching for proper usage of that kind of space in terms of financial and administration. So this study have combining of elementary school and home care for the aged facility especially for the increase of home care for the aged service facilities and improvement of using elementary school's space. That will increase the elderly cares and have need the homewelfare-service in the future, we select study elderly welfare facilities. We use analysis that analyze the trend of an elderly and social changes and conclude for the complexation of elderly welfare facilities, compound form of an elementary school, traffic line, space organization and interaction space organization.
