깊이 센서를 이용한 능동형태모델 기반의 객체 추적 방법 (Active Shape Model-based Object Tracking using Depth Sensor)

  • This study proposes technology using Active Shape Model to track the object separating it by depth-sensors. Unlike the common visual camera, the depth-sensor is not affected by the intensity of illumination, and therefore a more robust object can be extracted. The proposed algorithm removes the horizontal component from the information of the initial depth map and separates the object using the vertical component. In addition, it is also a more efficient morphology, and labeling to perform image correction and object extraction. By applying Active Shape Model to the information of an extracted object, it can track the object more robustly. Active Shape Model has a robust feature-to-object occlusion phenomenon. In comparison to visual camera-based object tracking algorithms, the proposed technology, using the existing depth of the sensor, is more efficient and robust at object tracking. Experimental results, show that the proposed ASM-based algorithm using depth sensor can robustly track objects in real-time.

  • Electrical property of polymeric insulating plays a key role in the trend of making power apparatus high voltage, and reliability and safety of apparatus in the long term depend on it. There is a recent trend of applying polymeric material to insulating material for outdoor, and particularly it is expected that it may be used partly as a pin insulator. Using as an alternate of insulating material for outdoor, however, it has still many problems to be solved in the field of material such as resistances of environment and tracking. It has been given attention to that the silicon rubbers and the epoxy have recently been used. but the the reliability in the viewpoint of material property becomes an issue. The polymeric materials such as EPDM, Epoxy and PVC have also been used as an insulating materials for outdoor. In this point of view, we studied each tracking phenomenon with test material such as rubber for pin, PVC for powercable used as an insulating material for outdoor, and Epoxy etc. The characteristics of anti tracking shows EPDM>Epoxy>PVC in order in the results. We also know that there is an close relationship between properties of tracking and thermegravimetry.

  • The time to tracking breakdown of treated filled specimen is longer than untreated filled specimen. And, after the RWDT, the surface of specimen by adding untreated filler appeared heavy erosion. It was found that the addition to surface treated filler. the better tracking resistance. In the RWDT, the breakdown specimen is not affected by the dry flashover voltage. despite the fact that the surface degradation of tracking test has different state on each specimen. This suggests that wet flashover voltage play an important role in evaluating of tracking and erosion on the surface degradation in tracking test. And, the flashover voltage of specimen under wet conditions are greatly affected by the salt concentration and degree of degradation by the RWDT. Because of hydrophobicity and degree of degradation by the RWDT, the flashover voltage of treated filled specimen is higher than that of untreated filled specimen. Different types of specimen may have different hydrophobicity and their surface state under contaminated conditions may not be the same. It is assumed that this phenomenon is related to the decrease in hydrophobicity of the surface of the materials.

반복측정된 자료에 대한 새로운 지속성 지수 (A new measure of tracking in repeated measurement data)

  • 반복측정된 자료에 있어 어떤 특성이 시간의 경과에 따라서 계속적으로 일정수준을 유지할 경우 지속성 현상이 있다고 한다. 만성질환의 위험요인이 지속성 현상을 갖는다면 조기에 위험요인에 대한 처치를 통하여 만성질환을 예방할 수 있으므로 역학 연구에서 지속성을 규명하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 지속성을 전체 관찰시점을 통한 일치도 및 시간의 경과에 따른 유지도를 정의하고 반복측정된 자료로부터 지속성 현상을 설명할 수 있는 새로운 지속성 지수를 제안하였다. 모의실험을 통하여 제안통계량과 지속성 지수로 널리 이용되는 McMahan의 지수를 비교하여 본고에서 제안한 지수가 더 높은 검정력을 나타내고 있는 것을 관찰하였다. 또한 제안통계량을 실제 자료에 적용해 본 결과, 제안통계량은 지속성 현상을 적절하게 설명함을 보았다.

모자이크 배경이미지 추출과 적응적 신경망을 이용한 다중 보행자 추적 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Multiple Target Tracking Using Adaptive Neural Network and Mosaic Background Extraction)

  • 본 논문은 자동 보행자 추적 시스템에 필요한 배경 이미지를 추출하는 방법과 추출되어진 배경 이미지를 이용하여 보행자를 탐지하고 적응적 신경망을 이용하여 보행자의 이동 궤적을 추적하는 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 논문은 고스트(ghost) 현상을 극복하기 위하여 모자이크 배경 이미지 추출 법으로 배경 이미지를 추출하였으며, 보행자의 탐지에 차영상 분석법을 기반으로 하여 보행자를 탐지하였다. ART2 네트워크는 프레임에 존재하는 이동 물체의 중심점을 탐지할 수 있다. 그리고, 이전 프레임에서 탐지되어진 물체의 정보를 이용하여 물체의 이동궤적을 추적할 수 있다. 제안하는 방법으로 실험한 결과 비강체(non­rigid)형태 운동을 하는 보행자를 탐지하고 그 궤적 추적에 대한 실시간 시스템 구성의 가능성에 대하여 알 수 있었다.

  • We present a new interface tracking method for computing two-phase flow. This method is based on VOF method coupled with Level set method. The method is verified to calculate an interfacial curvature accurately as well as to achieve volume conservation during the whole computation period. We apply the present method to calculate a falling drop. The calculated shape and terminal velocity of the falling drop showed good agreement with the data reported in the literature. Also, the present method was proven to be applicable to drop-wall collision phenomenon.

  • Friction phenomenon can be described as two parts which are pre-sliding and sliding regions. In motion of the sliding region, friction forces depend on the velocity of the system and are known as Coulomb, stick-slip, stribeck effect and viscous friction. The pre-sliding region, which is before breakaway, depends on the position of the system. The motion of friction in the sliding region can be described as the LuGre model. But the pre-sliding motion of friction, which has hysteresis characteristics in general, is not known widely. Therefore, an improved friction model, which can describe the motion of friction in the pre-sliding region, is proposed in this paper. And simulation and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed friction model for precise tracking control systems.

방위각 정보만을 이용한 비선형 표적추적필터 (Nonlinear Bearing Only Target Tracking Filter)

  • The optimal estimation of a bearing only target tracking problem be achieved through the solution of the Fokker-Planck equation and the Bayesian update. Recently, a nonlinear filtering algorithm using a direct quadrature method of moments in which the associated Fokker-Planck equation can be propagated efficiently and accurately was proposed. Although this approach has demonstrated its promising in the field of nonlinear filtering in several examples, the "degeneracy" phenomenon, similar to that which exists in a typical particle filter, occasionally appears because only the weights are updated in the modified Bayesian rule in this algorithm. Therefore, in this paper to enhance the performance, a more stable measurement update process based upon the update equation in the Extended Kalman filters and a more accurate initialization and re-sampling strategy for weight and abscissas are proposed. Simulations are used to show the effectiveness of the proposed filter and the obtained results are promising.

  • A new control scheme is developed to achieve fast and accurate decoupled tracking for an n-Joint robotic manipulator In the Presence of disturbances and unknown Parameter variations. The control system is designed so that a new type of state trajectories called sliding mode may exist in a phase plane. In order to remove the reaching Phase and high frequency chattering phenomenon which ate the common shortcomings of variable structure control(VSC) scheme, this paper presents the new switching line which is composed of three segments and the continuous control law which is derived from the existence condition of a sliding mode. The Proposed methods in this Paper are applied to a 3-Joint robotic manipulator as a numerical example-The digital simulation results which are compared with those of typical VSC scheme show the validity of accurate tracking capability and robust Performance of the system.

깊이 화면을 이용한 움직임 객체의 추적 방법 (Tracking Method for Moving Object Using Depth Picture)

  • The conventional methods using color signal for tracking the movement of the object require a lot of calculation and the performance is not accurate. In this paper, we propose a method to effectively track the moving objects using the depth information from a depth camera. First, it separates the background and the objects based on the depth difference in the depth of the screen. When an object is moved, the depth value of the object becomes blurred because of the phenomenon of Motion Blur. In order to solve the Motion Blur, we observe the changes in the characteristics of the object (the area of the object, the border length, the roundness, the actual size) by its velocity. The proposed algorithm was implemented in the simulation that was applied directly to the tracking of a golf ball. We can see that the estimated value of the proposed method is accurate enough to be very close to the actual measurement.
