  • 본 연구는 폐폴리에틸렌필름(폐비닐)을 아스팔트 혼합물에 첨가하여 아스팔트 포장재료의 품질특성을 향상시키고 환경적으로 문제가 되고 있는 폐비닐을 재활용하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 수행되었다. 폐비닐 사용시 나타날 수 있는 포장체의 특성을 파악하기 위하여 국내에서 가장 많이 수거되는 LDPE 폐비닐을 사용하여 현장에서의 실용성을 고려한 건식혼합법으로 아스팔트 혼합물을 제조하였다. 제조한 혼합물에 대하여 마샬안정도 시험, 간접인장강도 시험, 반복주행시험 및 피로시험을 수행한 결과 폐비닐을 혼합한 혼합물이 일반혼합물에 비하여 인장강도가 향상되고 윤하중에 의한 소성변형 저항성 및 피로균열 저항에 크게 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

DNP을 이용한 플랜트의 강인 안정화 기법 (A Method of Robust Stabilization of the Plants Using DNP)

  • 본 논문에서는 외란이나 시스템의 파라미터 변동 및 불확실성 등이 존재하는 자동화 설비시스템을 강인하고 정밀하게 제어할 수 있도록 하기 위해 동적 신경망 처리기(DNP)인 신경망 제어기를 설계하였다. 자동화 설비시스템에서 부품의 조립, 가공 등 복잡하고 정교한 임무를 수행시키기 위해서는 end-effector의 이동경로 궤적에 대한 추적제어 뿐만 아니라 목표물에 대하여 접촉하는 힘의 궤적에 대한 추적 제어가 필수적이다. 또한 자동화 설비시스템에서 플랜트의 역기구학적인 좌표변환을 계산하기 위한 학습구조를 개발하였으며, DNP가 이용될 수 있는 예를 설명하였다. 제안된 동적 신경망인 DNP의 구조와 학습 알고리즘을 제시하고 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 학습 성능을 증명하였다.

Design of an RCGA-based Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Controller for Ship Heading Control

  • A ship's automatic steering system is the basis for addressing control difficulties related to course-changing and course-keeping during navigation through heading angle control, and is a link in realizing unmanned and autonomous ships. This study proposes a robust RCGA-based linear active disturbance rejection controller (LADRC) design method considering environmental disturbances, measurement noise, and model uncertainties in designing a ship heading controller for use when the ship is sailing. The LADRC consisted of a transient profile, a linear extended state observer, and a PD controller. The control gains in the LADRC with the linear extended state observer were adjusted by RCGAs to minimize the integral of the time-weighted absolute error (ITAE), which is an evaluation function of the control system. The proposed method was applied to ship heading control, and its effectiveness was validated by comparing the propulsive energy loss between the proposed method and a conventional linear PD controller. The simulation results showed that the proposed method had the advantages of lower propulsive energy loss, more robustness, and higher tracking precision than the conventional linear PD controller.

In vivo tracking of adipose tissue grafts with cadmium-telluride quantum dots

  • Background Fat grafting, or lipofilling, represent frequent clinically used entities. The fate of these transplants is still not predictable, whereas only few animal models are available for further research. Quantum dots (QDs) are semiconductor nanocrystals which can be conveniently tracked in vivo due to photoluminescence. Methods Fat grafts in cluster form were labeled with cadmium-telluride (CdTe)-QD 770 and transplanted subcutaneously in a murine in vivo model. Photoluminescence levels were serially followed in vivo. Results Tracing of fat grafts was possible for 50 days with CdTe-QD 770. The remaining photoluminescence was $4.9%{\pm}2.5%$ for the QDs marked fat grafts after 30 days and $4.2%{\pm}1.7%$ after 50 days. There was no significant correlation in the relative course of the tracking signal, when vital fat transplants were compared to non-vital graft controls. Conclusions For the first-time fat grafts were tracked in vivo with CdTe-QDs. CdTe-QDs could offer a new option for in vivo tracking of fat grafts for at least 50 days, but do not document vitality of the grafts.

Clinical Uses of Diffusion Tensor Imaging Fiber Tracking Merged Neuronavigation with Lesions Adjacent to Corticospinal Tract : A Retrospective Cohort Study

  • Objective : To investigate the efficiency of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) fiber-tracking based neuronavigation and assess its usefulness in the preoperative surgical planning, prognostic prediction, intraoperative course and outcome improvement. Methods : Seventeen patients with cerebral masses adjacent to corticospinal tract (CST) were given standard magnetic resonance imaging and DTI examination. By incorporation of DTI data, the relation between tumor and adjacent white matter tracts was reconstructed and assessed in the neuronavigation system. Distance from tumor border to CST was measured. Results : The sub-portion of CST in closest proximity to tumor was found displaced in all patients. The chief disruptive changes were classified as follows : complete interruption, partial interruption, or simple displacement. Partial interruption was evident in seven patients (41.2%) whose lesions were close to cortex. In the other 10 patients (58.8%), delineated CSTs were intact but distorted. No complete CST interruption was identified. Overall, the mean distance from resection border to CST was 6.12 mm (range, 0-21), as opposed to 8.18 mm (range, 2-21) with simple displacement and 2.33 mm (range, 0-5) with partial interruption. The clinical outcomes were analyzed in groups stratified by intervening distances (close, <5 mm; moderated, 5-10 mm; far, >10 mm). For the primary brain tumor patients, the proportion of completely resected tumors increased progressively from close to far grouping (42.9%, 50%, and 100%, respectively). Five patients out of seven (71.4%) experienced new neurologic deficits postoperatively in the close group. At meantime, motor deterioration was found in six cases in the close group. All patients in the far and moderate groups received excellent (modified Rankin Scale [mRS] score, 0-1) or good (mRS score, 2-3) rankings, but only 57.1% of patients in the close group earned good outcome scores. Conclusion : DTI fiber tracking based neuronavigation has merit in assessing the relation between lesions and adjacent white matter tracts, allowing prediction of patient outcomes based on lesion-CST distance. It has also proven beneficial in formulating surgical strategies.

함정용 탐색레이더의 표적 전시상태 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Naval Surveillance Radar to Solve the Target Display Problem)

  • 함정용 탐색레이더는 표적 탐지 및 추적, 함포사격 지원 기능을 수행하는 함정 전투체계의 장비로써 표적에 대한 방위, 거리, 고도의 3차원 항적 정보를 산출하고 표적 탐지 및 추적에 대한 임무를 수행한다. 탐색레이더는 안테나부, 송수신부, 처리부, 공기건조기부로 구성되며 안테나부는 송신 신호를 방사하고 표적에서 반사된 신호를 수신하며 송수신부는 신호를 증폭 또는 합성하는 역할을 수행한다. 탐색레이더는 안테나로부터 수신된 신호를 이용하여 운용자에게 다양한 방법으로 표적 정보를 제공한다. 본 연구에서는 탐색레이더에서 식별한 표적에 대한 정보를 레이더전시기를 통해 전시할 때 나타난 문제점들을 식별하고 원인을 분석하여 개선하였다. 식별된 문제점은 함정의 변침에 따라 B-scope에 나타나는 TWS 추적 표적이 소실되는 현상이다. 탐색레이더의 TWS 추적 알고리즘에 의해 함정의 기동과 관계없이 지속적으로 추적해야 할 표적을 소실하는 것이다. TWS 추적 알고리즘에서 매 scan마다 획득된 표적의 거리, 방위, 속도 정보를 자함으로부터의 상대적 위치정보로 활용하지 못하는 문제점을 발견하여 추적 알고리즘에서 안정적으로 표적의 위치정보를 업데이트할 수 있도록 개선하였다. 개선된 TWS 추적 알고리즘을 이용하여 탐색레이더 운용에서 정상적 표적 추적 전시상태를 확인하였다.

주의 분배력 분석을 통한 조종사 선발 방법에 관한 연구 (A Pilot Selection Method Using Divided Attention Test)

  • This study develops a scientific method in pilot selection by analysing a divided attention performance between the successful pilots and the failures in a flight training course. To measure the divided attention performance, Dual Task Method is used in which the primary task is a tracking task while the secondary tasks are, 1. short-term memory task 2. choice reaction task 3. judgement task. Result shows that the performance of the pilots is significantly better (p < 0.1) than that of the failures in divided attention performance. In addition, the differences in the divided attention performance between the two groups are increased in proportion to the difficulty of the task and especially in the short term memory, the increment is most dramatic.

  • Unmanned remote survey system is proposed to measure distance and angle of the present position of micro-tunneling machine from any starting point of entrance. Cross type linear LED that can be controlled remotely is attached to the tunneling machine. Range finder and angle measuring devise fixed to internal of the pipe can scan the center of LED. Distance and angle measuring devises are disposed in the measurable position of the pipe, then the present position of tunneling machine can be calculated automatically from the measurements.

대부하 정밀 표적지향 안정화 시스템의 비선형 제어기법 연구 (Nonlinear Control of High Precision Pointing Stabilization Systems with Heavy Loads)

  • In this paper, the nonlinear control of high precision pointing stabilization system using feedback-linearization design methodology based on system parameter identification is discussed. Modern nonlinear servomechanism theory is adapted to cope with the hard nonlinearities inherent in the turret system. The mathematical models of electrical turret driving system to develop a high performance control algorithm are derived, and the parameter estimation algorithm identifying the unknown system parameters such as vicious and coulomb frictions, stiffness and inertia is developed. Through computer simulation and experiments, it is shown that pointing and tracking accuracy and stabilization against the wideband stochastic disturbance induced by vehicle running on the bump course are improved. Therefore, it is considered the proposed nonlinear control technique is effective in counteracting the nonlinearities and disturbances.
