The purpose of this research was to reveal how Jong Ga and its cuisine is perceived by Koreans and foreign tourists and to develop Jong Ga culinary culture for culinary tourism. The Inje Jong Ga was chosen since it is located in Jeonju, Hanok Village, which is a destination for tourists and gourmet enthusiasts. In-depth personal interviews were performed with Koreans and with foreign tourists who were visiting Korea. Interviews were done to provide deeper insight into the comments and subject matters. Most tourists selected "having one table setting for each (Doksang)" as the most distinctive part of Jong Ga and its cuisine. To develop the experience at a Jong Ga as a culinary destination, questionnaires were created to study six areas: preferences on length of stay, price range, food serving style, things to be improved, expectations by as a tourist at a Jong Ga, and the role of the food guide. There has been a high expectation that information technology (IT) can do something good for the rural perils. Efforts thus have been made in many countries to 'informatize' rural areas, namely to roll out IT infrastructure into remote areas and to enhance the computer literacy of rural residents. The present study examines the 'e-village' projects implemented in Korea and Japan. It evaluates the business models employed by the e-villages such as e-shops of local products and tour guide programs, the ways in which rural residents have managed their business models, the practices of information exchange within and outside of the villages, and the monetary gains of the business models. The study collects data mainly from the e-village web pages of both countries. The study reveals that the e-village business models have performed less than expected in general, and that Japanese e-villages are better off than the Korean counterparts. The study identifies the factors responsible for such mediocre performances of the business models including a lack of retail business experiences and capabilities of the rural people. The study findings highlight the importance of human resources, rather than the new technology per se, for rural development.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, the global economy has stagnated and our daily lives have changed. The rural economy is also experiencing damage, such as an average of 65% or more decrease in the number of visitors to rural experience resort villages due to the spread of COVID-19. In order to minimize the damage arising from the prolonged coronavirus, a hospitality system in response to changes in rural tourism behavior and consumer demand is needed to revitalize rural areas and maintain continuous economic independence. Therefore, this study attempted to find ways to utilize landscape resources such as education, culture, history, and ecology in order to complement the existing experience programs in connection with local resources and local environment. Wibong Village, which is the subject of the study, attempted to revitalize the village using the resources through the "Creative village creation" project in 2015. Due to poor management of historical resources, difficulty in operating experience programs, and response to changes in the natural environment, the rate of implementation of the project plan was very low. Currently, the demand for experience is also decreasing due to the COVID-19 effect, so it was judged that it was necessary to develop an experience village program suitable for the needs of experienced visitors by discovering additional local resources for the continuous operation of the experience village. In order to solve the problem of the use of landscape resources and the spatial composition of the study site, additional investigations of local resources were made, and an experience program course that could be operated by theme was proposed by configuring a space suitable for the use of landscape resources. By dividing the additionally investigated landscape resources into history, ecology, and region, an experiential course was created to separate the traffic lines, and the space composition for large-scale experienced visitors that had been previously operated was constructed in a form suitable for the post-corona era. In addition, at least two experiential tour courses that can be operated by period were proposed to maintain economic effects. Starting with this study, if further research on the creation and spatial composition of a rural experience village centered on the connection with the region, it will be used as research results that can be referenced in projects such as village creation, rural space planning, and living area analysis. It is expected that it will be able to effectively cope with the construction of a rural area suitable for the post-corona era, where demand is expected to increase in the future.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual situation of residents' participation in rural development projects, to identify their performance and problems, and suggest ways to develop desirable villages in rural areas. From reviewing relevant pre-studies, this study was done by interview, questionnaire, and observation targeting 140 leaders and residents of exampled village of the project in Jeollanam-do, as well as by listening opinions of relative experts. This study is largely classified into 4 parts, review of character and appearing background of village development project, review of theoretical discussion about residents' participation, evaluation of accomplishments and analysis of participation, and establishing a model for habitants-participating village development project and how to improve it. As a result of questionnaire, it was found urgent for habitants to convert their thinking about village development and their participation in it, to realize a model of this project, as well as political stimulus to promote that. Therefore, measures must be required to improve current village development projects and to promote them. First of all, a preparation period is required to sufficiently provide the village where habitants are willing to participate in, from the state of place selection. Besides, it is required to run away from profit-making businesses aiming at foreign people, to improvement of residents' welfare in a long term, and enhanced resources management in a broad view. Waste of working expenses seems to be solved through direct operation by a corporation in charge of profit-making businesses, under superstition of residents' community. Finally conclusion, expansion and practicalization of education to residents are essential, to promote their participation in rural development projects. Especially it must be practical education for habitants such as 'community-ship' or 'technology education in each interesting part,' rather than tour of other villages and unilateral lectures from experts. Along with this, a long term plan and systematic participation is more essential. Since planning itself can be mutual learning to enhance residents' capacity, a chance must be established to discuss and plan each part including resources-research, by making them participate in.

The results were as following. Impression and characteristics showed that gochujang and fermentation industry established a strategic ground of local development. Intention of revisit of tourists was relatively high by 97.1%. Furthermore, tourists were mainly family units and they preferred family-based recreational type for the future local tourism development form.
