Improvement on The Complexity of Distributed Depth First Search Protocol (분산깊이 우선 탐색 프로토콜의 복잡도 개선을 위한 연구)

  • A graph traversal technique is a certain pattern of visiting nodes of a graph. Many special traversal techniques have been applied to solve graph related problems. For example, the depth first search technique has been used for finding strongly onnected components of a directed graph or biconnected components of a general graph. The distributed protocol to implement his depth first search technique on the distributed network can be divided into a fixed topology problem where there is no topological change and a dynamic topology problem which has some topological changes. Therefore, in this paper, we present a more efficient distributed depth first search protocol with fixed topology and a resilient distributed depth first search protocol where there are topological changes for the distributed network. Also, we analysed the message and time complexity of the presented protocols and showed the improved results than the complexities of the other distributed depth first search protocols.

  • Large scale composition facility gives in commerce and space structure effect. therefore, this study will estimating locational value of the commercial facilities by separating space analyze to the topological property, predict a pattern and distribution of passenger's routes through the space syntax on the basis of analysis about the topological property which quantitatively using a estimating tool. Moreover, this study should suggest some of present issues at the aspects of inside city plan and design fitting the internalization of street for propelling efficient the locational strategy.

  • This paper introduces and analyzes the theoretical basis and method of the conventional initial-value assignment problem and feasibility of image segmentation. The paper presents topological evidence and a method of appropriate initial-value assignment based on topology theory. Subsequently, the paper shows minimum conditions for feasibility of image segmentation based on separation axiom theory of topology and a validation method of effectiveness for image modeling. As a summary, this paper shows image segmentation with its mathematical validity based on topological analysis rather than statistical analysis. Finally, the paper applies the theory and methods to conventional Gaussian random field model and examines effectiveness of GRF modeling.

  • In history based parametric CAD modeling systems, persistent identification of the topological entities after design modification is mandatory to keep the design intent by recording model creation history and modification history. Persistent identification of geometric and topological entities is necessary in the product design phase as well as in the re-evaluation stage. For the identification, entities should be named first according to the methodology which will be applicable for all the entities unconditionally. After successive feature operations on a part body, topology based persistent identification mechanism generates ambiguity problem that usually stems from topology splitting and topology merging. Solving the ambiguity problem needs a complex method which is a combination of topology and geometry. Topology is used to assign the basic name to the entities. And geometry is used for the ambiguity solving between the entities. In the macro parametrics approach of iCAD lab of KAIST a topology based persistent identification mechanism is applied which will solve the ambiguity problem arising from topology splitting and also in case of topology merging. Here, a method is proposed where no geometry comparison is necessary for topology merging. The present research is focused on the enhancement of the persistent identification schema for the support of ambiguity problem especially of topology splitting problem and topology merging problem. It also focused on basic naming of pattern features.

  • This study is to analyse the transformation process of spatial structure of traditional small city structure in Jeollabuk-Do in the process of modern urbanization between 19th century and the year 2000. The small cities, IM-PI, YONG-AN, YEO-SAN, OK-GOO, GO-SAN, MU-JANG, GUM-MA, GO-BU, which have been local administrative center in CHO-SUN dynasty, have role of local administrative center of subdivision of country-myon, except OK-GOO. The method of this study is to investigate the transformation process of spatial structural elements of with the actual field surveys, the analysis of Gunhyun map made in 1872, land registration maps in 1910s and 2000, and various topological maps. The elements of analysis are the topological site and geographical situation conditions, the urbanized areas, the street systems, the function of streets, the focal points of urban land use, the land use systems, and the location of major facilities such as administration facilities, markets, bus terminals. The analytical point of view and the results are as follows. There is strong relationship between the transformation of internal matrix route system and the growth pattern of urbanized areas, Especially on the contrary to the matrix route with East-West direction which has the role of checking the growth of urbanized area, the South-North direction route acts as the leading line of the growth. The focal points structure of urban land use shows transformation process from the point of central space of administrative district in front of Nae-A, to the access point to administrative district or to the access point to housing and neighborhood commercial area. From the point of functional area structure and major facilities location, line-type commercial area is developed along the line of central axis route and access route to administrative district. Especially direction of the growth of commercial area is strongly connected with the interrelationship between the study area and its neighboring cities. Pattern of commercial district development is varied with the direction of matrix route. That is, commercial district, which shows one side development pattern along the East-West direction route, is developed on both sides of street along the South-North direction route.

  • Symbolism found in a certain object inherits characteristics from the culture that contains the objects. The purpose of this study was investigate the formative beauty of Korean trousers twisted the pieces together based on the way of Korean thinks and the Topology. The shape is formed by cutting from the fabric. From the perspective of semiology, the fabric and the pattern shape correspond to ground and figure. Ground and figure are identical with the principle of the whole and the part, which is the same in Korea, China, and the West. But In Korea, the 3-dimensional garment is made by adding a twist. This is very important and defines the difference in the way of thinking and topology. Korean trousers consist of three parts : Hury, Marupok, and Sapok. The small Sapok can be made by removing the Marupok and large Sapok (figure) from the fabric (ground) when making Korean trousers. A Mobius strip is made when the large Sapok is adjoined with the small Sapok by reversing the small Sapok, making a 180$^{\circ}$twist and then stitching together. The theory of Mobius strip can be applied in Joining Bajiburi. thus when the trousers are completed the Klein's bottle is seen because of the 2 existing Mobius strop. Hury is cylinder while the small and large Sapok make up the Mobius strip.   • In this paper we propose Using Higher Order Neuron on the Supervised Learning Machine of the Kohonen Feature Map. The architecture of proposed model adopts the higher order neuron in the input layer of Kohonen Feature Map as a Supervised Learning Machine. It is able to estimate boundary on input pattern space because or the higher order neuron. However, it suffers from a problem that the number of neuron weight increases because of the higher order neuron in the input layer. In this time, we solved this problem by placing the second order neuron among the higher order neuron. The feature of the higher order neuron can be mapped similar inputs on the Kohonen Feature Map. It also is the network with topological mapping. We have simulated the proposed model in respect of the recognition rate by XOR problem, discrimination of 20 alphabet patterns, Mirror Symmetry problem, and numerical letters Pattern Problem.

  • Topology may described a pattern of existence of elements of a given set X. The family ${\tau}(X)$ of all topologies given on a set X form a complete lattice. We will give some topologies on this lattice ${\tau}(X)$ using a topology on X and regard ${\tau}(X)$ a topological space. Our purpose of this study is to give new topologies on the family ${\tau}(X)$ of all topologies induced by old one and its ${\theta}$ topology and to compare them.

  • The required minimum size of character diode matrix of Korean letters is estimated from the topological complexity of letter structure. The OR aombination of three letter boards (diode matrice) gives all possible Hangout whole letters in proper traditional combined form with minimum required discernibility. Two forms of first consonants (centre located ones for horizontal vowels and leftward displaced ones for vertical and composed vowels) are switched by only 1 bit of the vowel code. The vowel pattern length is modified by again the last four bits of the code. A new 15bit sized inner code is proposed which permits considerably small sized decoding mechanism.
