인공지능 활용 교육의 토픽모델링 분석을 통한 수학교육 연구 방향의 함의 (An Analysis of the International Trends of Research on Artificial Intelligence in Education Using Topic Modeling)

  • 본 연구는 최근 교육 분야에서 인공지능을 활용한 연구 동향을 파악하기 위해 관련 연구 논문을 대상으로 텍스트 마이닝 기법 중 토픽모델링과 시계열 기반 트렌드 분석 기법을 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 대상으로는 다양한 학문 영역에서 컴퓨터 활용 교육 연구에 초점을 두는 '교육에서의 인공지능 국제학회(International Society of Artificial Intelligence in Education)'에서 발행하는 SCOPUS 저널에 2003년부터 2020년까지 게재된 총 352편의 논문을 사용하였다. 분석 결과 빈도수가 높은 단어들을 조합하여 8개의 토픽을 추출하였으며, 이를 통해 인공지능을 활용한 교육 연구에서 중요시 여기는 관점을 파악해 나감과 동시에 교과별로 인공지능을 교육에서 활용하는 내용과 목적에 차이점이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또, 학습 시스템에서 학생 행동 모델을 분석하고 학생 응답 및 반응에 대한 피드백을 개발하는 연구는 점차 증가한 반면, 데이터 처리 방법에 대한 연구는 최근 들어 감소하는 경향이 나타났다. 연구 결과를 토대로 향후 교육에서 인공지능을 활용한 연구에 필요한 주제 및 방향에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

HALOE 자료를 이용한 중위도 지역의 오존농도 추이분석 (Trend Analysis for Stratospheric Ozone Concentration in the Middle Latitude Northern Hemisphere Using HALOE Data)

  • The ozone concentration measured by HALOE (Ver 19) from Oct. 1991 to Dec. 2003 is used for analyzing the variation of ozone concentration. The HALOE loaded in UARS is observing several gases in the atmosphere, from 10km to 80km. Fourier analysis of these data in the middle latitude northern hemisphere is reported in this paper. To detect any possible long term trends, the fourier transformed time series was back transformed after removing signals with time periods of less than 6 months. Although the results clearly show the strong annual cycle, it is difficult to show any long term trends from the fourier series. We also compared the ozone volume mixing ratio's from HALOE with that from the ground-based radiometry to evaluate the accuracy of microwave observation at Sookmyung Women's University.

  • ECCOMAS Thematic Conference Multibody 2003 was held at IST (Instituto Superior Technico), Lisbon, Portugal from July 1 to July 4. 2003. And MBDV(Multibody Dynamics and Vibration) in the 2003 ASME DETC was held at Chicago, U.S.A. from September 2 to September 6. In this paper, the presented papers in these conferences were reviewed and the trends in the multibody dynamics are summarized. The session titles in these conferences include Flexible Multibody Dynamics, Vehicle Dynamics, Contact, Biomechanics, Real-time Challenges, Spatial manipulator and Control, Multidisciplinary Applications, and Advanced Education. The poster session was also organized for more discussions in the Multibody2003 conference.

Investigation on Trend Removal in Time Domain Analysis of Electrochemical Noise Data Using Polynomial Fitting and Moving Average Removal Methods

  • Electrochemical noise signals in many cases exhibit a DC drift that should be removed prior to further data analysis. Polynomial fitting and moving average removal method have been used to remove trends of electrochemical noise (EN) in time domain. The corrosion inhibition of synthesized schiff base N,N'-bis(3,5-dihydroxyacetophenone)-2,2-dimethylpropandiimine on API-5L-X70 steel in hydrochloric acid solutions were used to study the effects of drifts removal methods on noise resistance calculation. Also, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was used to study the corrosion inhibition property of the inhibitor. The results showed that for the calculation of $R_n$, both methods were effective in trend removal and the polynomial with m=4 and MAR with p=40 were in agreement.

  • This study aims at analyzing the characteristics and trends of future workplace in reference to the case for Digital Nomad Space (DNS). For this study, it has been investigated how to converge meanings of the digital environment and physical office space by which surveys to potential digital nomads were fulfilled. As a result, the types and the properties of future workplace in digital environment have been obtained. This study also includes general characteristics and design aspects of the time-based ubiquitous rental workplace followed by investigating future trends of the digital era. Thus, suggestions of spatial requirements of the digitalized office towards the practical level in the architectural interior design is proposed, and DNS has special features such as the cultural complex and ICT-based facilities with free accessibility to existing information and data over the air.

  • PON(Passive Optical Network)은 설치 및 유지보수가 편리하여 광가입자망으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 대표적인 PON 기술로 IEEE에서 표준화된 EPON(Ethernet PON), 10G EPON과 ITU-T에서 표준화된 GPON(Gigabit capable PON), XG-PON 기술이 있다. EPON 및 GPON은 각각 1G급 및 2.5G급 전송속도를 제공하며 한국, 일본, 중국 등 아시아와 북미 등에서 가입자 서비스 및 비즈니스 서비스용으로 사용되고 있다. 2010년대부터 10G급 PON 기술 사용이 증가되고 있으며, 앞으로 가파르게 증가하고 있는 가입자 트래픽량에 대처하기 위해 40G급 또는 100G급 PON 기술이 사용될 것으로 예상된다. 본고에서는 현재 ITU-T에서 표준화가 진행 중인 NG-PON2(Next Generation PON2) 기술 중 주요기술인 TWDM-PON(Time and Wavelength Division Multiplexing-PON) 기술에 대한 국제 표준화 현황 및 국내외 기술개발 현황을 살펴보고자 한다.

머신러닝 및 딥러닝 연구동향 분석: 토픽모델링을 중심으로 (Research Trends Analysis of Machine Learning and Deep Learning: Focused on the Topic Modeling)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the trends on machine learning and deep learning research in the published journals from the Web of Science Database. To achieve the study purpose, we used the abstracts of 20,664 articles published between 1990 and 2017, which include the word 'machine learning', 'deep learning', and 'artificial neural network' in their titles. Twenty major research topics were identified from topic modeling analysis and they were inclusive of classification accuracy, machine learning, optimization problem, time series model, temperature flow, engine variable, neuron layer, spectrum sample, image feature, strength property, extreme machine learning, control system, energy power, cancer patient, descriptor compound, fault diagnosis, soil map, concentration removal, protein gene, and job problem. The analysis of the time-series linear regression showed that all identified topics in machine learning research were 'hot' ones.

드론 정밀 측위 기술 동향 (A Trend Survey on Precision Positioning Technology for Drones)

  • Drones, which were early operated by remote control, have evolved to enable autonomous flight by combining various sensors and software tools. In particular, autonomous flight of drones was possible since the application of GNSS-RTK (global navigation satellite system with real-time kinematic positioning), a precision satellite navigation technology. For instance, unmanned drone delivery based on GNSS-RTK data was demonstrated for pizza delivery in Korea for the first time in 2021. However, the vulnerabilities of GNSS-RTK should be overcome for delivery drones to be commercialized. In particular, jamming in the navigation system and low positioning accuracy in urban areas should be addressed. Solving these two problems can lead to stable flight, takeoff, and landing of drones in urban areas, and the corresponding solutions are expected to establish a hybrid positioning technology. We discuss current trends in hybrid positioning technology that can either replace or complement GNSS-RTK for stable drone autonomous flight.

  • Wireless communication technology has mainly been used to fulfill the demands of industrial sites at which performance is not a critical concern. However, ongoing discussions and efforts are now focused on securing core wireless communication technologies to enable the transformation or expansion of wired industrial IoT (Internet of Things) network technology into a flexible and dynamic smart manufacturing system. This paper provides an overview of current wireless industrial IoT network technology and the recent wireless time-sensitive networking technology. It outlines the challenging level of reliability required for wireless communication technology to coexist with or replace its wired counterpart in future smart manufacturing systems. Additionally, we introduce ultra-reliable time deterministic network as the core technology of wireless industrial communications and focus on its reliability and delay characteristics.

우리나라 남성 골프웨어에 나타난 패션 경향 분석 (An Analysis of the Fashion Trends Expressed on the Korean Men´s Golfwears)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the fashion trends of Korean men's golfwears and furnished the researchers of same major with reliable data base. Lately, Korean men were concerned about their appearance rather than social position. Moreover, they tried to express the needs of youthfulness with free lift through clothings. These trend had been showed itself not only development of golfwears, but also change of esthetic tastes of men's golfwears. First of all, the development of men's golfwears was affected by the major three factors out of many various factors. That is, popularization of golf by the international activities of Korean progolfers, appearance of young consumers after IMF and the casualization of the men's formal dress, the making an everyday dress of men's sportswears. The results of analyzing of fashion trends of the men's golfwears is as follow: 1. The characteristics with naturalness, comfort of men's golfwears was manifested casualization trends by the factors of downward tendency of golfer's age, 5-days working, men's biz casual preference, individual ism after IMF. 2. Men's character golfwears was showed by the ageless as a youthfulness expression, the Sportism as an international trend, 2002 world cup, etc. 3. All of golfwears have to be functional characteristics because the golf is an active sports spending long time in golf course. Unconstruction style was an important fashion trends of men's golfwears by using functional materials to meet the needs of consumers. 4. The men's clothing was deviated from a fixed idea called masculine after IMF. Moreover, this trend was increased by the appearance of lovely man, genderlessness and had an effect on men's golfwears. Consequently. men's golfwears was showed feminization characteristics as a feminine, sensitive style. In the future, Korean men will try to express their character and thought freely through golfwears, men's golfwears will be continued ‘beyond the golf course’ image reflecting in the future fashion trends.
