도금공정 실시간 원격 온도 모니터링 시스템 (A Real Time Temperature Monitoring System for Plating Process)

  • A number of plating companies have been exposed to the risk of fire due to unexpected temperature increasing of water in a plating bath. Since the companies are not able to forecast the unexpected temperature increasing of water and most of raw materials in the plating process have low ignition temperature, it is easy to be exposed to the risk of fire. Thus, the companies have to notice the changes immediately to prevent the risk of fire from plating process. Due to this reason, an agile and systematic temperature monitoring system is required for the plating companies. Unfortunately, in case of small size companies, it is hard to purchase a systematic solution and be offered consulting from one of the risk management consulting companies due to an expensive cost. In addition, most of the companies have insufficient research and development (R&D) experts to autonomously develop the risk management solution. In this article, we developed a real time remote temperature monitoring system which is easy to operate with a lower cost. The system is constructed by using Raspberry Pi single board computer and Android application to release an economic issue for the small sized plating manufacturing companies. The derived system is able to monitor the temperature continuously with tracking the temperature in the batch in a short time and transmit a push-alarm to a target-device located in a remoted area when the temperature exceeds a certain hazardous-temperature level. Therefore, the target small plating company achieves a risk management system with a small cost.

  • As the power electronics system increases the frequency, the power loss and thermal management are paid more attention. This research presents a real time model of dissipation power with junction temperature response for 120kw IGBT inverter which is applied to the thermal management of high power IGBT inverter. Since the computational time is critical for real time simulation, look-up tables of IGBT module characteristic curve are implemented. The power loss from IGBT provides a clue to calculate the temperature of each module of IGBT. In this study, temperature of each layer in IGBT is predicted by lumped capacitance analysis of layers with convective heat transfer. The power loss and temperature of layers in IGBT is then communicated due to mutual dependence. In the dynamic model, PWM pulses are employed to calculation real time IGBT and diode power loss. Under Matlab/Simulink$^{(R)}$ environment, the dynamic model is validated with experiment. Results showed that the dynamic response of power loss is closely coupled with effective thermal management. The convective heat transfer is enough to achieve proper thermal management under guideline temperature.

부산지역 학교급식의 위생관리 수행 평가 (The Sanitary Management Procedures of Foodservice in Elementary Schools in Pusan)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the sanitary management procedures of foodservice in elementary schools in Pusan area. The questionnaire which were administered to 189 dietitians was used in this study as a survey method. The results were as follows. Mean total length of employment for dietitians at school foodservice was 3.7 year. The mean serving scale was 1,052 meals. Meals were served at classroom 63.5%, lunchroom 23.8%, and classroom+lunchroom 12.7% of the schools. The mean time span required of meal delivery was 31.5min at the classroom serving place. Regarding total mean score of sanitary management procedures, time temperature was 3.48/5.00, personal sanitation 4.20/5.00, equipments and facilities sanitation 3.92/5.00. The mean score of the pre preparation was 3.91/5.00 for time temperature management procedure, those of food purchasing and receiving, food storage, food production, meal. assembly.trasnportation service, and hot.cold holding were 3.83/5.00, 3.82/5.00, 3.71/5.00, 3.25/5.00, 2.30/5.00 respectively. 원자력 발전소용 통신케이블 자켓의 가속열화시험 (An Accelerated Degradation Test of Nuclear Power Plants Communication Cable Jacket)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to estimate the lifetime, and verify the target lifetime at steady state temperature, of communication cable jackets used in nuclear power plants. Method: This study was completed according to test and analysis methods required by international standards. After measuring the residual elongation(%) of specimens at specific points in time with the accelerated degradation test, average failure time of each temperature was computed. Thus, the activation energy could be derived by applying the temperature-Arrhenius law to estimate cable jacket lifetime at steady state temperature. Results: The cable jacket lifetime was estimated as 363.8 years assuming a normal nuclear power plant operating temperature of $90^{\circ}C$. Conclusion: To ascertain stable operating conditions for a nuclear power plant, accelerated degradation tests were performed according to the Arrhenius law for components of the nuclear power plants. The lifetime was estimated from the degradation data collected during the accelerated degradation test.

데이터 탐색 기법 활용 전도현상 예측모형 (Data Driven Approach to Forecast Water Turnover)

  • This paper proposed data driven techniques to forecast the time point of water management of the water reservoir without measuring manganese concentration with the empirical data as Juam Dam of years of 2015 and 2016. When the manganese concentration near the surface of water goes over the criteria of 0.3mg/l, the water management should be taken. But, it is economically inefficient to measure manganese concentration frequently and regularly. The water turnover by the difference of water temperature make manganese on the floor of water reservoir rise up to surface and increase the manganese concentration near the surface. Manganese concentration and water temperature from the surface to depth of 20m by 5m have been time plotted and exploratory analyzed to show that the water turnover could be used instead of measuring manganese concentration to know the time point of water management. Two models for forecasting the time point of water turnover were proposed and compared as follow: The regression model of CR20, the consistency ratio of water temperature, between the surface and the depth of 20m on the lagged variables of CR20 and the first lag variable of max temperature. And, the Box-Jenkins model of CR20 as ARIMA (2, 1, 2).

  • The measurement of welding temperature of connector is usually performed with an infra red temperature gauge. However, the factors, which influence the temperature measurement, are rarely known. This research used the welding temperature measurement of the connector as an example, applying the experimental design, in two-phase experiments, to search the affecting factors. In phase-I experiment, we used a resolution III, seven-factor fractional factorial design with two levels for each factor. The result showed that none of the factor was significant in affecting the welding temperature when the type I error ${\alpha}$ was 0.05. Next, we did the phase-II factorial experiment with three factors and each factor had three levels. The experiment showed the experimental time was significant in affecting the temperature measurement when the type I error ${\alpha}$ was 0.05. Further Duncan's multiple range tests on the second experimental data showed that the later the experimental time, the weaker the light intensity could have on the temperature measurement and the average of the highest temperatures was lower. Moreover, the later the experimental time, the smaller was the variance of the temperature measurement and the difference between the averages of the highest and the lowest temperatures was also lower.

유물 공간의 종합적 유해생물 관리(Integrated Pest Management)를 위한 실시간(Real-Time) 온습도 모니터링 및 유해 생물 조사 자료의 시각화 (Real-time Monitoring of Temperature and Relative Humidity and Visualization of Pest Survey Data for Integrated Pest Management in Collection Storage Area)

  • 수장고 및 전시 공간의 종합적 유해생물 관리를 위하여 실시간 온습도 센서 및 모듈을 이용한 환경 데이터 수집, 실내 부유 진균류 농도 및 곤충 유입 자료의 데이터 시각화를 부여 정림사지 박물관 유물 공간을 대상으로 실시하였다. 실시간 온습도 모니터링 시스템은 30분 단위로 측정 데이터를 수집하였으며 연동 애플리케이션을 통해 측정 데이터를 실시간으로 확인 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 측정된 온습도 데이터가 미리 설정한 범위를 초과하였을 경우, 푸시 알림을 담당자의 단말기로 전송하여 현황 정보를 제공함으로써 상시적 관리 체계를 구축하였다. 이를 통해 8월 중 유물 권장 온도 범위를 초과한 상황의 즉각적인 인지 및 조치가 가능하였다. 수장고 내부 공간에 따른 시기별 부유진균류 농도 데이터를 국립문화재연구소에서 제시한 생물학적 유해환경요인 권고기준(안) 기준으로 범례화하여 시각화한 결과, 수장고 1층과 2층 유물 공간 모두 위험 기준인 80 C.F.U./m3 이하의 부유 진균류 농도가 유지되는 것이 확인되었다. 또한 곤충 유입 조사 결과, 수장고 내부에는 곤충이 포획되지 않았으며, 전시공간의 경우, 딱정그리마, 알락귀뚜라미, 알락꼽등이 등의 곤충이 포획되었다. 이를 바탕으로 구역별 포획 곤충의 개체 밀도에 따른 시각화를 실시한 결과, 곤충의 주요 유입 경로가 외부 출입구 및 화장실 구역임을 확인할 수 있었다.

편의점 판매용 도시락 생산 및 유통과정시의 위생관리 실태와 시판제품에 대한 미생물적 품질간의 상관관계 (Relationships between Actual Sanitary Management Practices during Production and Distribution, and Microbiological Quality of Dosirak Items Marketed in CVS)

  • Sanitary management practices from 8 packaged meals (Dosirak) manufacturing establishments were surveyd during production and distribution and their microbiological quality of dosirak items marketed in CVS were analyzed. Correlation coefficients were calculated to deternine significant relationships between sanitary management practices and microbiological quality of packaged meals. The results of self evaluation on sanitary management practices indicated 'doing practice well' in personnel and equipment sanitation management but time-temperature control management were practiced satisfactorily only about 55% as compared with the managerial standard guidelines. Significant relationships between the status of actual sanitary management practices and microbiological quality of Dosirak items were not found, but general status of microbiological quality of Dosirak items revealed positive relationship with the size of operational structure and the status of time-temperature control management practices.

  • The strength development of concrete is influenced by temperature and cement type which greatly affect hydration degree of cement. There is not pertinent concrete strength management methods for estimating the in-place strength of concrete. One such method is the maturity concept. The maturity concept is based on the fact that concrete gains strength with time as a result of the cement hydration and, thus the rate of hydration, as in any chemical reaction, depends primarily on the concrete temperature during hydration. Thus, the strength of concrete is function of its time-temperature history. This goals of the present study are to investigate a relationship between strength of high-fluidity concrete and maturity that is expressed as a function of an integral of the curing period and temperature, predict strength of concrete.

Lead Exposure Indices, Workloads, and Environmental Factors in Battery Manufacturing Workplace

  • Objective: This study aims to evaluate the workloads of industrial and automobile storage battery industries and their association to biological exposure indices. Background: Occupational lead exposure at battery manufacturing workplace is the most serious problem in safety and health management. Method: We surveyed 145 workers in 3 storage battery industries. Environmental factors(lead in air, temperature, humidity and vibration)), biological exposure indices(lead in blood and zinc protoporphyrin in blood) and individual workload factors(process type, work time, task type, weight handling and restrictive clothing) were measured in each unit workplace. Results/Conclusion: Air lead concentration is statistically significant in associations with workload factors(process type, work time, task type, and restrictive clothing) and environmental factors (humidity and vibration), whereas zinc protoporphyrin in blood are significantly associated with work time and weight handling. And lead in blood is significantly associated with work time, weight handling and temperature. Application: The results of this study are expected to be a fundamental data to job design.
