  • Learning algorithm of SRNN doesn't use analytic maximum epoch, so that its performance is inefficient and its cost is high. In this paper, with the proper maximum epoch, we improve teaming efficiency. We first describe cost function of maximum epoch and computation time theoretically Then, using it, we propose that maximum epoch must be between 400 and 500. Estimated maximum epoch is verified by experiment.

  • GPS double difference, carrier phase measurements are ambiguous by an unknown inter number of cycle. High precision, relative GPS positioning can be obtained from a short time span of data if the integer double difference ambiguities can be determined efficiently. In this study, we used a ambiguities resolution method indicated by Clyde Goad. And I compared with ambiguities using Lambda method. The difference of ambiguities between two method is below ${\pm}$1.

  • GPS has been increasingly used in high precision positioning thanks to rapid advances of GPS technology. In order to acquire precise coordinates from GPS, it is important to solve accurately integer ambiguity inherent in GPS signals. The previous methods to solve this ambiguity were mostly based on multi-epoch data but recently a method based on single-epoch data has been developed. In this study, we selected three sets of software based on these methods, applied them to GPS baseline processing, and analyzed the experimental results. From these analyses, we have also verified the potential of their uses in real time precision positioning.

  • The management of size and weight, which are the growth information of aquaculture fish in fish-farms, is the most basic goal. In this study, the epoch is defined in fish-farms from the time of stocking or dividing to the time of shipment, and the growth data for a total of three epoch is analyzed from a time series perspective. Growth information such as the size and weight of aquaculture fish that occur over time in fish-farms is compared and analyzed with water quality environmental information and feeding information, and a model is presented using the analysis results. In this study, linear, exponential, and logarithmic regression models are presented using the Box-Jenkins method for size and weight by epoch using data obtained in the field.

  • DS-CDMA is used to widely spread spectrum for a cellular mobile digital communication that maximizing users- capacity at the limited frequency bandwidth, solving technical matters with the channel. Especially, the capability of a spread spectrum receiver relied on fast code acquisition time at the demodulation. In this paper, we considered that fast code acquisition time when a spread spectrum system is designed, and existed code acquisition system set up one code epoch on a position at initial processing, but the proposed code acquisition system improved that two code epoch are set up at the same time, therefore code acquisition time is diminished in effect. The structure modeling to VHDL language. Its synthesized the synthesized and, is implemented FPGA chip

  • The attitude of a vehicle can be precisely determined using GPS carrier phase measurements from more than two antennas attached to a vehicle and an efficient integer ambiguity resolution technique. Many methods utilizing the known baseline length as a constraint of independent elements of integer ambiguities are proposed to resolve integer ambiguity at real time. Three-dimensional search space is reduced to two-dimensional search space with this constraint. Thus the true integer ambiguity can be easily determined with less computational burden and fewer number of measurements. But there are still strong requirements for the real time integer ambiguity resolution, which uses single epoch measurement of long baseline. In this paper, a new constraint from the geometry of multiple baselines is derived. With this new constraint, two-dimensional search space is further reduced to one-dimensional search space. It makes possible to determine integer ambiguity with single epoch measurement. The proposed method is applied to real data to show its effectiveness.

  • We present a procedure which finds the probability distribution of number of customers accumulated when the server ends a vacation in the Geo/G/1 gated queueing system, where the service for a customer and the vacation, respectively, takes one slot time. The pp. g. f. for the number of customers accumulated at the gate closing epoch is obtained as a recursive form. The full probabilities, then, are derived using an iterative procedure. This system finds an application in a packet transmitting telecommunications system where the server transmits(serves) packets(customers) accumulated at a gate closing epoch, and takes one slot time vacation thereafter.

  • In modern Astronomy the vernal equinoctial (VE) point is taken as the starting point for measuring celestial longitudes. Due to the precession of equinoxes, the above point is receding back along the ecliptic. As a result, the longitudes of fixed stars are increasing every year. In ancient India, the Hindu astronomers did not favour the idea of fixed stars changing their longitudes. In order to stabilize the zodiac, they had taken as the origin a point which is fixed on the ecliptic and as such is quite different from the VE point. This initial point being a fixed one, the longitude of stars measured from this origin remain invariable for all time. There was an epoch in the past when this initial point coincided with the VE point and thus the epoch may be called the zero-year. There is controversy over the determination of the zero-year. The reasons for the choice for the fixed zodiacal system by the Hindu astronomers as well as the epoch of zero-year have been found out on the basis of information available in various astronomical treatises of ancient India written in Sanskrit.
